Thus, according to the publication’s sources, a search took place in Ivan Kuznetsov’s office on June 7. Representatives of the special services seized part of the documentation and even took the SIM card of the deputy head of the Executive Committee with all contacts.

Ivan Kuznetsov himself, apparently, has a philosophical attitude towards this situation. When asked by a KazanFirst journalist to comment on the story of the criminal case, he answered quite cheerfully and with a smile:

And 89 of them are officials of municipal authorities and municipal unitary enterprises. And such cases, when a person was imprisoned, and then it turned out that he was not at all guilty, are extremely rare in judicial practice.

Another expert of the KazanFirst publication is a retired major general of the FSB of Russia Alexander Mikhailov said that law enforcement agencies have now received a proven algorithm and scheme for solving corruption crimes and proving the identified facts.
