“The Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science has summed up the preliminary results of the Unified State Examination in the Russian language, which was held during the main exam period on June 9. The press service also emphasized that the average score on the Unified State Exam in Russian in 2017 is comparable to last year’s result.

“This year the trend towards improving results in compulsory subjects continues. The share of graduates who were left without certificates decreased by almost one and a half times, and this does not even take into account the results of upcoming retakes. How to view work and file an appeal?

The opportunity to review your work is provided in the event of an appeal. The procedure is carried out in cases where the participant does not agree with the assigned points. To do this, you need to write an application in two copies and submit it to the organization that allowed the participant to take the exam.

Authorized persons submit the document to the commission. Submitting an application is allowed within two working days after the official announcement of the results. The USE participant, his representatives, and the expert commission are present at the appeal.

Reception applications for appeal produced in Russian until June 27. The final approval of the results is carried out until July 17.

During the procedure, the participant is given the right to familiarize himself with his work. For this purpose, copies are provided.

Based on the results of the appeal, a decision is made:

  • leave the amount of points unchanged;
  • adjust the result up or down.

Converting points to grades is carried out according to the following scheme:

  • 2 – from 0 to 24 points;
  • 3 – from 25 to 57;
  • 4 – from 58 to 71;
  • 5 – more than 72.

The exam is considered passed if the number of points is 25 or more. To enter universities you need an average of 36 points.

Early Unified State Exam in Russian

Almost 750 thousand people are registered to participate in the main period of the Unified State Exam 2019, of which 662 thousand are graduates of the current year.   • Since 2019, graduates have the right to choose to take only one level of the Unified State Examination in mathematics (basic or specialized), but when retaking this level, this level can be changed.
  • Since 2019, graduates of previous years are not entitled to participate in the Unified State Examination in mathematics basic level.
  • The popularity of natural science subjects has increased. Thus, in 2019, the increase in the number of Unified State Examination participants in biology was 25 thousand compared to last year, in chemistry - about 16 thousand, in physics - about 13 thousand participants.
