The above categories of students submit documents confirming their membership in the established benefits to the scholarship commission (educational department) of the faculty. A student who has submitted to the scholarship commission a certificate issued by the social welfare authority at the place of residence to receive state social assistance has the right to receive a state social scholarship. This certificate is submitted to the academic department of the faculty annually.

passport;
a certificate from housing authorities about family composition, or a certificate about the student’s residence in a dormitory;
a certificate from the educational institution about the student’s studies and the amount of academic scholarship paid over the last 6 months (or about non-receipt of the scholarship);
in case of living together with parents, or if the student is married, and also if he himself has any income in addition to the scholarship, documents (certificates) are provided on the income of all family members for the 6 months preceding the month of application.

closing sessions and debts;
obtaining a certificate of student status;
evidence of the total amount of all scholarships received for the last 3 months of study;
a certificate of family composition, which indicates the dates of birth of each family member;
providing documentation that will prove the family's low income;
contacting the USZN authorities to obtain a certificate of socially unprotected status;
provide the appropriate certificate to the educational department of the university.

Participants State Duma, July 3, 2016, adopted the Federal Law “On Amendments to Article 36 of the Federal Law “On Education in the Russian Federation”. This document introduced innovations to Part 5 of Article 36, which entered into force on January 1, 2017.
