New Year 2016 competitions for children

Christmas trees

All guests play, competition for attentiveness. The presenter tries to confuse the participants and says: “Let's imagine that we are in the forest and you are all different Christmas trees. You need to show what kind of Christmas trees you are. When I say “high,” you need to raise your arms up, when “low,” you need to sit down, and when you say “wide,” you need to spread your arms to the sides. The one who made a mistake leaves the game and receives a small incentive gift (small candy). The winner, the most attentive player, receives main prize.

Mummy

This competition, in principle, is also suitable for adults. He will make your guests laugh until they drop. You will need toilet paper for this. Divide the guests into two or more teams. Each team needs to choose a mummy. The rest must mummify her, that is, wrap her in toilet paper from head to toe. Teams must try to ensure that there are no gaps between the rolls of toilet paper and have time to get ahead of their opponents. You can complicate the task: also quickly remove the bandages from the mummy, and the bandage must remain intact.

Catch a snowball -competitions for the New Year 2016

Guests are divided into two teams. One of the team members stands away from the others and picks up a paper bag or bucket. The rest receive a set of “snowballs” - paper lumps or balls. Task for team members: you need to throw snowballs so that they all end up in a bag or bucket. The team that does it faster wins.

Hold the snowflake

This is a team relay competition. Each team is given a piece of cotton wool. One of the team members begins to blow on the cotton wool, trying to keep the “snowflake” in the air as long as possible. The presenter times the time. When the snowflake falls, the next player on the team starts blowing. The winner is the team whose “snowflake” hangs in the air the longest in the overall team standings.

Newton's law

You need two buckets and peas. Two participants are selected. Task: throw as many peas as possible into the buckets, while doing this you need to stand straight and not bend your back or arms. You need to keep your hands at chest level. The one with the most peas in the bucket wins.

Take it

Two people participate in the competition. They sit on either side of a small table or chair. A prize is placed on the table (for example, a small candy or chocolate). At the command of the presenter, participants must quickly place their hand on the prize. The one who does it faster (whose hand is on the bottom) gets the prize.

Robin Hood -competitions for the New Year 2016

This is a game of skill. She needs two hats, boxes, balls, buckets, a chair, rings. There are many variations of this game. You can choose the most suitable one for your guests. So, the guests put on hats and turn into Robin Hoods. You need to throw all the balls into boxes or buckets standing at a distance. You can make a ring throw out of an overturned chair and put the rings on its legs. You can try to hit an object standing at a distance with a ball.

Musketeers

For the competition you will need two chess officers and two fake swords. You can invite participants to wear hats to look like real musketeers. Participants stand on both sides of the table and take two steps away. The presenter places a chess piece on the edge in front of each person. On command, you need to lunge forward with your foot and prick the figure. The one who manages to do this first wins.

Mousetrap

Two participants create a “mousetrap”: they hold hands and dance in a circle. All the rest - mice - run around and then in the middle. Those who are in the mousetrap walk in a circle with their hands raised up and say: “We are so tired of the mice, they chewed everything, ate everything. We will set a mousetrap and catch all the mice.” At the last words, the hands give up and those “mice” that remained in the “mousetrap” join the round dance. Then the game continues until only the most attentive “mouse” remains. She wins.

New Year's balls -competitions for the New Year 2016

The presenter gives each participant a hoop and invites them to depict a New Year's ball. On command, you need to start rotating the hoop on your waist, neck, arm, or make the hoop rotate around its axis on the floor. The participant whose hoop spins the longest wins.

Crumple the snowball

Each participant is given a piece of paper (newspaper can be used). At the presenter’s signal, you need to roll up a “snowball” out of paper so that it fits in your fist. The one who manages to do this first will win.

Telegram to Santa Claus

Children, with the help of a facilitator, select and write down 13 adjectives on a piece of paper. For example: fat, slow, hungry, sad, dirty and the like. Now the presenter asks you to help him compose a telegram to Santa Claus. Children must fill in the missing adjectives in the order they are written on the sheet. Telegram text:

“... Grandfather Frost!

New Year- this is the most... holiday of the year.

All... children are looking forward to your... arrival.

We promise to sing you... songs, dance... dances!

Finally the New Year is coming!

Although I don’t want to remember about... studying, but

We promise to receive only... ratings.

So, don’t forget to take your… bag with you and give us… gifts.

Sincerely, your... boys and... girls!

Snow Queen

The task for each participant is to melt the spell of the Snow Queen. Everyone gets an ice cube and must make the cube melt. How they will manage to melt the ice - the children must decide for themselves. You need to melt the cube faster than others. The winner receives a prize.

Snowball -competition for New Year 2016

A game to “buy back” gifts from Santa Claus’s bag. All guests sit in a circle and pass a “snowball” (ball or paper ball) along the chain. At the same time, Santa Claus says:

“We’re rolling a snowball,

We count to five -

One, two, three, four, five -

Or, for example:

Sing a song for you...

Dance for you...

Let me tell you a riddle...

The one on whom the snowball landed completes the task, receives a gift from Santa Claus's bag and leaves the circle. And the game continues until all the guests receive the long-awaited prizes.

Decorate the Christmas tree

For the competition you need two small artificial Christmas trees. Two players are selected, each receiving a fishing rod with a hook at the end. Homemade Christmas tree decorations and toys are laid out in front of him. Task: hook the toy on a fishing rod and hang it carefully on the Christmas tree. The one who decorates the Christmas tree the fastest wins. In addition, the rest of the guests should also appreciate how beautifully the Christmas tree is decorated.

Balls

Several participants are selected and each of them receives a ball. He must place it in front of him. Then the presenter blindfolds everyone and gives the command to crush the ball with their feet. It turns out very funny: after all, the guests do not see the balls, and they constantly slip away and fly away to the sides.

Collect snowballs -competition for the New Year 2016

Each participant receives a small bucket or basket. The presenter blindfolds everyone and places “snowballs” (balls, small balls or lumps of paper) around. On command, blindfolded, you need to collect as many snowballs as possible into a bucket. When all the snowballs have been collected, the participants are untied and asked to count their snowballs. The one with the most snowballs wins the main prize.

The Great Houdini

The presenter ties each participant's hands behind their backs with small ropes. You need to knit it loosely, like a bow. The task is to release your hands on command. The one who manages to do this faster than others wins.

New Year 2016 competitions for adults

Target

The competition is very funny. Only men participate. The goal is to hit the target. In front of each participant is placed on the floor empty bottle. The leader ties a cord with a pencil at the opposite end to each person’s belt. You need to put the pencil into the bottle without touching it with your hands.

New Year's turnip -competition for New Year 2016

Participants are invited to dramatize the well-known fairy tale about the turnip. You need to choose 7 characters, each of whom must perform their own actions while the presenter tells the story. As soon as the presenter names the character, he does what is intended.

Turnip - hits his knees with his hands, claps his hands and shouts: “Both-on!”

Grandfather rubs his hands: “Well, well, well...”

Grandmother threatens grandfather with her fist and says: “I would kill him!”

The granddaughter shrugs her shoulders coquettishly: “What? I'm ready!"

Bug - scratches behind the ear: “I'm tired of fleas!”

The cat says a drawn out “Meow!”

The mouse shakes its head and squeaks: “We’ve finished the game!”

Alphabet toasts

Guests are invited to take turns making a toast - a wish for the New Year so that everyone's words next guest started in alphabetical order. For example: “I am absolutely sure that the people gathered here best company, for which I offer you a drink!”, “I’ll be brief and wish...”, “I want to tell everyone...”.

High sensitivity

Only women are selected to play. They stand with their backs to the chairs, the leader places some objects on the chairs and invites the women to sit on the chairs. You need to determine without using your hands what the woman is sitting on. The participant who does it faster will win.

Siamese twins - competitions for the New Year 2016

Two participants approach each other, stand side by side and hug each other. In this case, it turns out that one of them has his right hand free, and the other has his left. Now these participants are Siamese twins and must complete some task with their two free hands. For example, they are asked to cut out a snowflake from paper, lace a shoe, wrap a gift, and the like.

What if the snowdrifts are deep?

And we’re on skis: chic-chic, chic-chic (swinging ski poles).

What if the river is frozen?

And we are on skates: burn-burn, burn-burn (hands behind your back, sliding movements with your legs).

What if the hill is steep?

And we are on a sled: uh-uh (two hands on the top right - movement down to the left).

What if the road is wide?

And we are in cars: w-w, w-w (steering wheel).

What if the rails are iron?

And we are on the train: chug-chug, chug-chug (they depict a train with their hands).

What if the bowl is dense?

And we're on the plane: wow.

Who will collect the most snowballs?

Two children play. Snowballs made of cotton wool are scattered on the floor. The children are blindfolded and given a basket. At the signal, they begin to collect snowballs. The one who scores wins more snowballs.

Who makes a Snowman faster?

Game with three-dimensional and planar snowmen

Snowball game (with balloons)

The song “Snowball Game” was played

Vinti: Great! Now let's have a real snowball fight!

Tinti: Come on, I’ve already prepared them (brings balloons). While the music is playing, we throw the “snowballs” to the opponents’ side. After finishing the melody, count the number of “snowballs” on each side. Whoever has fewer of them wins. Attention! Let's start!

Game "Hit the Snowman"

Children take “snowballs” (tennis balls) and try to hit the snowman drawn on the large sheet paper. The child who hits the snowman the most times wins.

Game "Confetti"

Father Frost: Oh, it’s hot here, I’m about to melt. Granddaughter, bring some cold water to cool off.

The Snow Maiden brings a large mug filled 1/3 with confetti. Santa Claus pretends to drink, and suddenly pours confetti from his mug onto his parents.

Dance game “One, two, three!”

Parents come out and stand in a circle.

Santa Claus: I will give you tasks, and when you complete them, you count to three. Are you ready?

1.We will go left now... One, two, three!

2.Now let's go right... One, two, three!

3. Let’s get together to the center as soon as possible... One, two, three!

4.And we’ll go back... One, two, three!

5. We'll spin around a little... One, two, three!

6.And let’s clap our hands... One, two, three!

And now we repeat everything twice as fast.

And now we do everything at space speed...

(Instead of words, Santa Claus makes sounds reminiscent of rewinding a tape. The game is played at a frantic pace.)

New Year's auction

Children take turns listing everything that happens in the New Year: Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, Christmas tree, gifts, Christmas tree decorations, needles on the floor, snow, lanterns, etc. The one who runs out of ideas is eliminated from the game. The most resourceful one wins.

Finger game "White Snow"

Snowman: Show me again how snow flies in winter ?

Children:

White fluffy snow (soft movements with hands)

Spinning in the air (“flashlights” with hands)

And quietly to the ground (soft movements with the hands)

Falls. Lies down. (waves below from side to side)

And then, and then (2 strokes - we shovel snow)

We'll make a ball out of snow. (making snowballs)

Oooh! (throw snowballs at each other)

Game "Two Frosts"

Two “houses” are marked on opposite sides of the hall (you can mark them with flags). The players choose two Frosts: Frost - a red nose and Frost - a blue nose. It gets cold in the middle, and the rest of the players are on one side of the court behind the home line.

Both Frosts (address the guys with the words:

We are two young brothers,

Two Frosts are daring.

1st Santa Claus (points to himself). I am Frost - red nose.

2nd Santa Claus. I am Frost - blue nose.

Together. Which one of you will decide

Set off on a path?

All players. We are not afraid of threats

And we are not afraid of Frost!

After these words, the players run to the other side of the hall beyond the home line. Both Frosts catch and “freeze” those running across. Those who are “frozen” remain standing in place.

Then the Frosts again turn to the players, and they, having answered, run back to the “house”, helping out the “frozen” along the way, touching them with their hands. Those who were rescued join the rest of the guys. The game continues.

Hat

The game is good to play with fun rhythmic music. The children are standing around. Santa Claus or the host of the holiday begins the game by transferring the hat from his head to the head next to him standing child, he, in turn, transfers the hat from his head to his neighbor’s head and so on in a circle. At the command of Santa Claus (clap, whistle, blow with a staff), the movement stops, and the one who still has the hat on at that moment must dance, sing or tell winter poem, proverb, ask a riddle.

The most dexterous

Father Frost and Snow Maiden (or other characters according to the script) are holding in their hand a hoop entwined with Christmas tree tinsel. Cotton balls (“snowballs”) are poured onto the floor. Children, at the heroes' command, throw lumps into the hoops, then count the number of hits in Santa Claus's hoop and in the Snow Maiden's hoop.

Decorate the Christmas tree

In front of the main tree, two small Christmas trees and two boxes with unbreakable New Year's toys are placed. Three people are called to each Christmas tree. At the command of Santa Claus, children dress them up. Whoever decorates his Christmas tree with all the toys from the box faster and more accurately wins.

New Year's concert

Cards with New Year's illustrations are placed in a beautiful chest: Christmas tree, round dance, snowflake, icicle, skis, sleigh, etc. Children take turns taking out a card and, after looking at the image, must read a poem about this object or sing an excerpt from a song.

Musical carousel

Chairs are placed in a circle (there are 1 fewer chairs than there are players). Among those playing is Santa Claus or Snowman. Music sounds, all participants in the game begin to run around the chairs. As soon as the music stops, all the children quickly try to take their seats. The adult hero plays half-heartedly (giving in), pretending that he does not have time to sit down on a chair. Since all the seats are occupied by children, he will have to dance for everyone or give out gifts.

Felt boots

Large felt boots are placed in front of the Christmas tree. Two children are playing. At a signal, they run around the tree from different sides. The winner is the one who runs around the tree faster and puts on felt boots.

Collect a snowflake

Large snowflakes are cut into triangles. Placed near the Christmas tree. Task: while fun, moving music is playing, put all the details together. The winner is the one who keeps to the music and neatly folds everything.

Build a Snowman

The details of a snowman are cut out of whatman paper (two copies): three circles of different sizes. From colored paper: eyes, mouth, carrot nose, bucket, scarf, broom. The summoned children, on command, quickly assemble snowmen from the offered parts on the floor near the Christmas tree. The winner is the one who assembles the snowman more accurately, quickly and correctly, using all the prepared parts.

Fun rattle

Santa Claus competes with children in running in sacks or jumping on one leg around the Christmas tree. One condition is mandatory: after running or jumping to the agreed upon place, you must take a rattle - a maracas on a chair in front of the tree and ring it.

Catch up with felt boots

Children stand in a circle and are given felt boots in their hands. Children pass felt boots around in a circle to cheerful music, and Santa Claus tries to catch up with him. Children need to hand over the felt boots very quickly so that Santa Claus cannot take it away.

Trap

Having run away from the Snowman (or Santa Claus), the children stop and, clapping their hands, say: “One-two-three! One-two-three! Well, quickly catch us!” When the text ends, everyone runs away. The snowman (Santa Claus) is catching up with the children.

Playing with rattles

Children, holding rattles in their hands, run scattered around the hall to cheerful music. When the music ends, the children stop and hide the rattles behind their backs. The fox (or another character participating in the game) is looking for rattles. She asks the children to show her first one hand, then the other. Children behind their backs transfer rattles from one hand to another, as if showing that there is nothing in their hand. The fox is surprised that the rattles have disappeared. The music plays again and the game repeats.

Who will collect the most snowballs?

Two children play. Snowballs made of cotton wool are scattered on the floor. The children are blindfolded and given a basket. At the signal, they begin to collect snowballs. The one who collects the most snowballs wins.

Hares and fox

Children perform movements according to the text.

Along the forest lawn

The bunnies ran away.

These are the bunnies

Running bunnies.
(Children-bunny run easily around the hall.)

The bunnies sat in a circle,

They dig the root with their paw.

These are the bunnies

Running bunnies.
(The “bunnies” sit down and perform imitation movements according to the text.)

Here is a fox running -

Red-haired sister.

Looking for where the bunnies are,

Running bunnies.
(The fox runs between the children, and when the song ends, she catches up with the kids.)

Give the Snowman a nose

Place 2 stands in front of the tree and attach them to large sheets with the image of snowmen. Two or more children participate. They are blindfolded. At the signal, children must reach the snowmen and put their nose to it (this could be a carrot). Other children help with words: left, right, lower, higher...

Carry it in a bag

A bag is placed in front of the tree (it is partitioned into 2 parts, one of them has no bottom). Santa Claus calls children who want to ride in a sack. He puts the child in a sack and carries him around the tree. He places the other child in the part of the bag where there is no bottom. Santa Claus walks around the Christmas tree, and the child remains in place. Santa Claus returns and is “surprised.” The game repeats itself.

Catch a snowball

Several couples participate. Children stand opposite each other at a distance of approximately 4 meters. One child has an empty bucket, the other has a bag with a certain number of “snowballs” (tennis or rubber balls). At a signal, the child throws snowballs, and the partner tries to catch them with a bucket. The first couple to finish the game and collect the most snowballs wins.

Ice cream game

Snow Maiden: And now the time has come -

Waiting for us fun game!

Santa Claus: But first I want to tell all of you guys a delicious riddle. Listen:

This little snowball

Place in a waffle cone.

It melts on the tongue

What is this? Who knows? (Ice cream)

The Snow Maiden and Father Frost stand on both sides of the tree and take small plastic buckets covered with silver paper. The presenters bring out a table on which there is a box with the inscription “ICE CREAM”, in which there are multi-colored plastic balls; they place it close to the audience. The presenter invites the children to split into two teams. Teams stand on both sides of the tree. Each team is given a small bucket covered with silver paper or foil and a large ladle. The presenter says that the assortment includes different ice cream: raspberry, orange, blueberry, strawberry, pistachio and chocolate. The playing child must run up to the box with popsicles, take a scoop of “ice cream” with a ladle, put it in a bucket, run and put it in the bucket of the Snow Maiden (the other team is Santa Claus). The winner is the team that fills the bucket of the Snow Maiden and Father Frost with scoops of “ice cream” the fastest. Parents can also take part in the game.

Attributes: table, box with the inscription “Ice cream”, multi-colored plastic balls according to the number of children ( even number), 2 small buckets covered with silver paper or foil, 2 large ladle, 2 medium plastic buckets covered with silver paper.

Snowball game

Children, divided into two teams, pick up “snowballs” - round foam balls or wads of cotton wool sewn into gauze - and try to hit each other. The task of the attackers is to hit the enemy with a snowball, the defenders are to dodge and not allow themselves to be hit. The team that makes the most accurate hits wins.

New Year is a holiday that everyone, adults and children, is looking forward to. Interesting competitions for children for the New Year will help you relax and have fun at the same time. Only here you can play “New Year” games, where all the brightest and New Year’s games for every taste are collected!

GAME “NEW YEAR’S Shifters”

Santa Claus says phrases, and children must answer “yes” or “no” in unison, regardless of the rhyme.

You, friends, came here to have fun?..
Tell me a secret: Were you waiting for Grandfather?..
Will frosts and colds scare you?..
Are you sometimes ready to dance at the Christmas tree?..
A holiday is nonsense, Let's get bored better?..
Santa Claus brought sweets, will you eat them?..
Are you always ready to play with the Snow Maiden?..
Can we push everyone around without difficulty? Certainly...
Grandfather never melts - Do you believe this?..
Do you need to sing a verse at the Christmas tree in a round dance?..

GUESS GAME

Folds into Santa Claus's bag as much as possible more toys. Each child puts his hand in there, determines by touch what he caught there, and describes in detail. Age: 3-99 years

Pmanufacturer (country): activity of one or two people (Russia)

Material: snow, tangerines, equipment as needed

Features: New Year competitions for adults and children

Approximate price tag: you can even get it for free

We bought gifts, and, and, a Christmas tree, cut them out for the windows, and brought them into the garden, we even know how to New Year's Eve, but they haven’t yet figured out how to entertain children and adult guests for the New Year. Therefore, today the Observation Zone will tell you New Year's Eve script so that none of the guests remain bored, and no one says about your holiday: “Yes, it was normal, in general, as usual.”

So, in order to run and jump for a reason, it is better to first come up with an idea for an event - a kind of goal of all these competitions. For children, the standard theme was the search for treasure/treasures/gifts from Santa Claus. If adults also participate, then I advise you to come up with something more original, for example, “Winter Olympic Games", "In the Footsteps of James Bond" or "The Mystery of an Abandoned House". Be that as it may, it is best to make souvenirs as a result of the competitions, and it is obligatory for each participant. One of the other important factors for your success as an animator should be right choice and the order of competitions. Active games should alternate with moderately active and absolutely calm ones (they are also intellectual). Remember, the presenter is unlikely to be able to participate in competitions: his task is to judge, prepare props and monitor fair competition. You will be responsible for creating teams of equal strength, purchasing gifts, eliminating conflicts and, ultimately, announcing the winners. Plus, you will be the one to blame if everyone quarrels, there aren’t enough balloons for someone, the children cry out of resentment, and there aren’t enough prizes. Therefore, if you decide to work part-time as an animator, take it responsibly.

New Year's competitions can be divided into two groups: those carried out on the street and at home. Of course, it's more fun to play outside, which means let's talk about the first group first. I offer several options - on different ages And different quantities participants.

1. Sculptors. The presenter names a letter, and the participants must fashion any object out of snow whose name begins with this letter. Whoever blinds faster and more reliably wins.

2. Hunting. The balls are tied to the foot of each participant; at the signal from the leader, the players must burst other people’s balls while maintaining the integrity of their own. The last one with the inflated balloon wins.

3. Repeat. Participants walk in a circle behind the leader and repeat all his movements, except one (for example, “hands up”), which is agreed upon in advance. The one who repeated the forbidden movement is eliminated. I advise you to think through the list of your moves in advance, because at the moment of the game everything will fly out of your head.

4. Shooter. Shooting at targets with prepared snowballs. Another option is snow bowling. If there is no sticky snow, you can wet the snowballs with water or use prepared ones. balloons, filled with water and frozen. Empty plastic bottles are suitable as targets.

5. Designer. Let's build a snowman for speed and beauty. It’s great if you prepare equipment in the form of a bucket, a carrot, a scarf and sunglasses with a straw hat.

6. Tangerines. Not using tangerines on New Year’s Day is a sin. Therefore, a relay race with the transfer of citrus fruits must be mandatory.

7. Treasures. We hide the treasure in advance in waterproof packaging and bury it in the snow. Suitable for very young children, as it won't be very difficult to find based on your footprints.

8. Artist. This competition can replace making a snowman if there is no sticky snow. We draw the declared characters on the snow, preferably with tinted water. The necessary props are dyes.

9. Lame. A relay race played in teams of two participants, whose nearest legs are tied. The goal is to be the first to reach the finish line. Classic, but funny.

10. Let's pull and pull. Winter option tug of war, only the rope must be passed through a snowman made in advance. The goal of the game is to tug of war without knocking over the symbol of winter.

11. Finally, one of the following options: stream, let's go, let's go, stop, dodgeball or your favorite snow fight. There are no losers here.

If on New Year’s Day it’s minus 20, if there’s no snow at all, if you don’t have winter clothes and you’re sitting at home, then the Observation Zone has come up with something for you to do just in case.

1. Rhymer. Teams must come up with poems with rhymes you have prepared in advance. It is advisable to compose rhymes on a New Year's theme and use the names of the participants. Your prep work is essential.

2. Snow in the house. We make snowballs from office paper and see who is the most accurate. Teams participate: one throws, the other catches snowballs in a bag/bucket/pan.

3. Mousetrap. Competition for children. Two adult leaders hold hands, creating a mini-round dance, and say something like this: “We are so tired of the mice, they chewed everything, ate everything. Let’s set up a mousetrap and catch all the mice.” Children run between the hands of the catchers. At the last words, the adults' hands drop - whoever is caught joins the round dance. The last one not caught wins.

4. Cook. Within a certain time, the participants in the game must make New Year's menu. For one team, all dishes should begin with the letter “N” (New Year), for the other - with the letter “M” (Father Frost), for the next - with the letter “S” (menu for the Snow Maiden). The team with the longest menu wins.

5. Repeat. The game is similar to the competition for the street, you can modify it. For example, the players stand in a row, with the leader in front of them. He blows one whistle, then two. At one whistle, all participants must quickly raise their right hand up and immediately lower it; You cannot raise your hand after two whistles. The one who makes a mistake takes a step forward and continues to play along with the others. Those who make the fewest mistakes are considered the winners.

6. Get rich. Eight or more people take part in the game. You must have one coin. Everyone is divided into two teams and sits opposite each other at the table. One team receives a coin and the participants pass it to each other under the table. The commander of the opposing team slowly (you can silently) counts to ten, and then says: “Hands up!” The players of the team that passed the coin must immediately raise their hands up, with their hands clenched into fists. Then the commander says: “Hands down!” - and players must place their hands, palms down, on the table. The one who has the coin tries to cover it with his palm. Now the players of the opposite team confer and decide who has the coin. If they guessed correctly, the coin goes to them; if not, it remains with the same team. If small children are playing, the decision about who has the coin is made immediately after raising their hands up.

7. Four elements. The presenter, standing in the center of the circle, throws the ball to any participant in the game and says one of four words: “earth”, “water”, “air” or “fire”. The one to whom the ball is thrown must catch it, throw it back to the leader and, if the word “earth” was said, name any animal that lives on land, if “water” - any fish, if “air” - a bird. And if the presenter says “fire,” the player who caught the ball must silently turn around. Whoever makes a mistake in the answer or hesitates raises his hand up and next time must catch the ball with one hand. If he makes a mistake this time too, he’s out.

8. Masterpiece. Each team receives a New Year's themed word. Using the props you have prepared (paper, scissors, glue, glitter, plasticine, cotton wool, etc.), they need to create a picture.

9. My favorite competition. Participants sit down at a table, each writes on a sticker the name of any character, fairy-tale, real, book or cartoon. Then everyone exchanges papers. Regardless of what is written on the sticker they receive, everyone sticks it on their forehead. Then, one by one, the players ask others questions like “Am I real?”, “Am I a boy?”, “Am I wooden?”, the answer to which can only be “yes” and “no.” The goal is to be the first to guess who you are.

10. You can end the game with your loved ones phantoms or charades.

Happy New Year to you!

Two participants play. Ten clothespins are attached to their clothes, each. When the music starts, they must help each other take them off. The fastest one receives a sweet prize from Father Frost and Snow Maiden.

Puzzle in mittens

Divide the children into two teams. Each participant puts on mittens and tries with his comrades to assemble a puzzle with winter landscapes. It is advisable that there are not too many details.

Nimble Throw

The Snow Maiden holds in her hands a hoop decorated with bright tinsel. The team stands a few meters away from him and throws him small snowballs from paper. At the end, the snowballs are counted. Wherever there are more snowballs, that team is considered the winner.

Santa Claus's Assistant

Form two equal teams. Place a basket near the tree. It will need to be filled with New Year's gifts. Prepare in advance ordinary boxes covered with colored wrapping. The first player is given mittens and a beard. The child puts them on himself and runs with the gift to the basket, throws it into it and returns to the start. Passes the false beard and mittens to the next participant. And this is what the whole team does until the last player.

Build a snowman

The presenter must cut out the components of the snowman in advance. Body, nose, eyes, buttons, bucket, broom. All this is laid out in a chaotic manner on the floor. Two teams compete against each other for a time. The guys must figure out how to correctly place the details in the composition, and also have time to accurately complete their work in the allotted time.

Ice cream

Father Frost and Snow Maiden perform dances and feel warm. The host advises them to cool off with ice cream. Everyone is divided into two teams. Opposite each one stand Father Frost and the Snow Maiden and hold paper horns in their hands. The guys must run to them and put ice cream - snowballs - into the cones. This is the only way they will save fairy tale characters from the heat.

What types of Christmas trees are there?

The presenter says the phrase: “We dressed up our beauty, we did our best. What kind of Christmas trees are there in the forest?” The guys should remember the adjectives that describe the New Year's tree: fluffy, tall, New Year's.

Prizes and gifts

What are games and competitions without prizes? Let's figure out what is the best gift to give your child for winning the competition.

There is a universal and familiar reward option - sweets. However, you shouldn’t dwell on it, especially since on New Year’s holidays children already get a lot of sweets, which is not very healthy. Here are a few more gift options that Santa Claus can give to the winners of competitions and games:

  • small toys. Depending on the age of the children, these can be small puzzles, cars, dolls, books, soft toys (including in the form of a symbol of the next year), mosaics, construction sets in small boxes;
  • souvenirs - calendars, pens, cups. Such souvenirs can be ordered in an individual design with group photo group or class;
  • New Year's attributes - Christmas tree toys, snowflakes, figurines of Santa Claus, snowman;
  • lottery tickets. Just not the ones sold in special stores, but made precisely on the occasion of the celebration. These could be just pieces of paper with numbers, according to which prizes will be drawn at the end of the holiday;
  • wish. Comic wishes that can be fulfilled right at the holiday. For example: the child who won the competition makes a wish for the second child to sing a New Year's song or recite a poem. Or a wish for Grandfather Frost to light the lights on the tree or dance;
  • target. For example, rescuing the Snow Maiden from the hands Snow Queen or call the Snowman or somehow help out some holiday hero.
