Now the fun begins. The program sees the connected adapter and offers to select a country and start scanning the network for the presence of television channels. Upon completion of the first scan, a message appears stating that no channel was found. Then the idea arises of replacing the compact sliding antenna with a stationary one, but this does not give any results.

For the sake of experiment, using the adapter included in the package, we connected an antenna from a regular TV to the adapter, through which the TV shows more than 45 channels. The results of the experiment were unsuccessful - scanning the network did not yield anything, but this made it possible to verify that the problem was not in the antennas, but in the EyeTV mobile adapter itself.

Apparently EyeTV mobile is not suitable for working in Russia, although the application is completely Russified, and some screenshots on the Internet show Russian channels. Perhaps it’s due to some kind of sanctions against Russian users, but this is very unlikely.

If you live in Europe or the USA, then the EyeTV mobile adapter can be an excellent device for watching television on a tablet or smartphone. There is no point in purchasing this accessory for iPhone, iPad or Android for residents of Russia, since it simply cannot work properly.
