Stylish and versatile British men's haircut. Left-hand traffic

Prim and aristocratic Great Britain is not only pompous palaces, art galleries and famous pubs. You will find out what else Foggy Albion is rich in from our selection today.

2. Visit real English pubs

What would England be without English pubs? The tradition of gatherings in these establishments can only be compared with the tea tradition: here, like there, they also have their own philosophy and traditions. For example, in pubs from time immemorial, only beer was (and is) served, however, the assortment will not offend you, don’t worry about that. But newfangled introductions like coffee, cider or juice are rather a forced tribute to the demands of the time. Therefore, at the pub, order exclusively foamy drink and only him! And every English pub has a unique atmosphere that can only be captured by sitting in it and drinking a couple of pints of ale.

To get acquainted with the English beer tradition (and at the same time with history), we recommend checking out the Olde Trip to Jerusalem pub, where, as they say, the Crusaders also stayed, or Old Cheshire Cheese , a favorite establishment of Mark Twain and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. You can also sit at the Old Bank of England (address 194 Fleet Street, London, EC4A 2LT) or The George.

3. Take a break from the hustle and bustle in the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds are a very picturesque and atmospheric region of England in the county of Gloucestershire. You should definitely go here, because only here you will see the real English province XVII - XVIII centuries (with fabulous stone cottages surrounded by colorful gardens), beautiful nature and winding paths that invite you to go for a walk. Chipping Hampton, Beebury, Beerford, Chipping Camden are the most beautiful of the local villages and towns.

4. Admire the beauty of nature in Snowdonia Park (Wales)

All the beauty of wild Wales is concentrated in this national park, named after the high mountain- Snowdon. Here you can not only have an active rest (the park has many equipped walking and cycling paths of varying difficulty), but also simply wander through the magnificent forests and hills, and the most courageous can climb Snowdon, fortunately this does not require any special skills or experience .

5. Get acquainted with the history and life of the Welsh

The history of Wales is no less interesting and rich than the history of other parts of the United Kingdom. You can learn more about it and about the traditions of life and life of the Welsh (as the inhabitants of Wales are called) at the St. Fagans Museum. Here, on the territory of the castle of the same name, there are real houses and buildings of past centuries, which were brought here from all over the region.

6. Hunt ghosts in Scottish castles

Whether there are ghosts in Scottish castles or not, we won’t guess. But it’s definitely worth going on a tour of the residences of the Scottish nobility, if only for the beauty of these very residences. Ancient and not so ancient, harsh and elegant, inaccessible and romantic - Scottish castles will captivate you at first sight. Medieval Beaumaris and Caerphilly, majestic Carnarvon and impregnable Conway, handsome Harlech and, of course, the well-known Cardiff - these are just some of the architectural pearls of Wales.

7. Appreciate the beauty of the Scottish islands and lakes

The natural beauty of Scotland deserves special attention: its islands and famous lakes simply cannot be missed! And this is not only the popular Loch Ness Lake, but also Loch Lomond, on the emerald hilly shores of which ancient castles are scattered, and the lake itself is full of small islands, from very tiny to those where people live (for example, on the island of Inchmurrin there are even ruins of an ancient monastery VII centuries and Lennox Castle, which was once the hunting residence of the kings). Scotland also includes the Isles of Arran and Mull. The first is famous for its contrasting nature: the north of the island is waterfalls and mountains, the south is hilly plains and sandy beaches, and it won’t be difficult for you to get around it, since there is only one road! People go to Mull primarily for the castles (medieval Duart and Gothic Torosey), and, of course, don’t forget about the town of Tobermory with its colorful houses.

8. Stand on the “edge of the world” - the famous Cliffs of Moher (Ireland)

Perhaps the strongest impression a traveler gets is when he finds himself here, on the edge of the Cliffs of Moher. This is a truly unforgettable sight: roaring ramparts below, crashing into rocky ledges, and cliffs that seem to grow from the waters of the Atlantic, stretching like a wall into the distance.

9. Plunge into nightlife Dublin to Temple Bar (Ireland)

Are you going to visit and don’t know what to do to entertain yourself? If you have already visited all the museums and castles, then it’s time to take the Irish capital seriously :) Therefore, go straight to Temple Bar, the most sleepless area of Dublin. In this center of bars, pubs and nightclubs, everyone is constantly in a cheerful movement: young people, tourists, locals - you name it! There are more than enough entertainment venues, and you will surely find your favorites - through experience, of course. But we would advise not to miss The Temple Bar, The Quais and The Auld Dub.

10. Solve the riddle of the Book of Kells

An hour's drive from Dublin there is a place where secrets and legends come to life before your eyes. This is the Abbey of Kells, and it is famous for the fact that a manuscript (Book of Kells), which is considered a masterpiece of religious art, was created here. The mystery is that it is still unknown how the medieval monks who wrote it were able to create such delicate and precise decorations and miniatures without the use of magnifying devices, and the colors of the manuscript have not faded to this day.

You can see this man-made miracle in the library of Trinity College in Dublin, and the abbey is a great place for solitude and reflection.

How to move yourself and your business to the UK if you are not a relative of Putin, not a deputy and your dad does not own a small candle factory in Russia?

Today we will tell the stories of young people who made their way through the bureaucratic thorns and received visas allowing them to do business in the UK.

But first, about the types of visas that are, in principle, suitable for those who want to enter the British market and move to Foggy Albion:

(1) Investor Visa. Requires £2 million investment in UK business. Issued for three years and four months with the possibility of extension for two years. Upon arrival, it allows you to get a job in any field.

(2) Entrepreneur Visa. Requires an investment of £200 thousand. Issued for three years and four months. Gives you the right to engage exclusively in business.

(3) Graduate Entrepreneur Visa. Does not require investment. Issued for a year with the possibility of extension for another year. Allows you to both work for hire and engage in own business. You can get it by either being a graduate of a British university or by collaborating with startup accelerators (for example, Sirius, Wayra). Gives a £150,000 discount when upgrading to an Entrepreneur Visa after two years.

(4) Tech Nation Visa (= Exceptional Talent Visa). Does not require investment. Issued for five years. Allows you to work and do business. There are restrictions on this type of visa: only 250 are issued per year.

Alina Bezuglova: Graduate Entrepreneur Visa with a discount of £150 thousand.

She came to the UK in 2009 on a student visa. By the end of her master’s degree, it turned out that the Tier 1 Post-Study Work Visa was canceled, and in order to stay in the country, Alina needed to find a job by the time she graduated from university. This did not happen, and she went to work in Lithuania.

“From Lithuania I received legal address in the UK using a virtual office service,” says Alina. - Next step: company registration in the UK. You don't need anything for this except the Internet. After waiting for the business papers, I applied for a Business Visitor Visa, which today has been renamed Standard Visitor Visa. In short, this is an analogue of a tourist visa, only not for visiting Big Ben, but for holding business meetings and participating in conferences. This visa allows you to stay in the country and extend your stay, but does not give you the right to work, rent an apartment or open an account. But we need an account! So I found an accounting company, one of whose services is to provide their bank account for your business.”

Arriving in the country, Alina decided to get a visa, which gives the right not only to be in the country, but to live and work. In her case there were two options: Entrepreneur Visa (2) And . The first path involves investing in a business in the amount of £200 thousand.

“I couldn’t find that kind of money and applied for Graduate Entrepreneur Visa (3), says Alina. - This visa is done through a British university from which you graduated no later than 12 months ago. The university must make a so-called Endorsement. Essentially, this is a paper in which the university says that it accepts your business plan and vouches for you. The defense of candidates' business plans takes place at the university in a standardized manner, and not separately for each candidate. It is important to note that Endorsement does not imply that the business is already developed. The early stages at the level of a business plan are suitable, the main thing is to show how it will earn money and what benefits it will bring to the UK. There are no restrictions on the scope of business. It is the university that sends this paper to the Home Office. Once you receive your case number, you can apply for a visa. It is important to remember that each university has its own rules for obtaining this document; you should always find out individually.”

After those two years on this visa, the most standard path is to switch to Entrepreneur Visa (2). The life hack is that Graduate Entrepreneur Visa (3) gives a discount, and when switching you need to invest not £200 thousand, but £50 thousand. Also Graduate Entrepreneur Visa (3) gives the right to both work and do business. Therefore, if the business has not taken off within a year, there is an opportunity, while in the country, to find a job and switch to a work visa. But it is worth remembering that throughout the UK the limit on these visas is 2000 per year for all universities.

Alina recently created RuTech, an organization that represents the interests of Russian Tech in the world on a more global level. One of practical issues that RuTech deals with are visas.

“We are not a law firm, but at the same time we are ready to talk about what types of visas are, what documents are needed and help edit papers,” says Alina.

Alexander Lushnikov: Graduate Entrepreneur Visa on the second try

In October 2013, Alexander entered LSE and began creating a startup called Chainy, a platform for promoting talented people from creative industries. When the question of obtaining a visa to stay in the country arose, he immediately applied to participate in the Entrepreneurship Competition at his university to obtain Graduate Entrepreneur Visa (3).

“There were three stages,” says Alexander. - At first I wrote a one-page business plan so that the university would decide to support me. If they like it, they invite you to the second stage, where you need to describe in more detail how you are going to develop your business. The third stage - having received the case number, you need to submit the remaining documents to the Home Office. But it is worth remembering that LSE, for example, has the right to support only 15 students per year in this way. I failed at the second stage because... at the time of applying for this visa, I already had a developed operating company. I was sure that the university would support me and therefore I “stuffed” too much into my business plan. And I was refused.”

However, it is not in Alexander’s character to be upset, and he wrote a letter to the university, asking for a personal meeting, at which he would explain everything in detail and correct mistakes. And he was not refused.

“After talking to me personally, they said that they really liked my idea and my business, but I did the paperwork poorly,” says Alexander. - They offered not only to re-issue the documents in accordance with clear rules, but also checked my final papers. Therefore for me the most great lesson: 1) do not be afraid of refusals and ask for an individual analysis of the reasons for the refusal, 2) when filling out the paperwork, strictly follow the instructions.”

Interesting things:

When switching from a student visa to Graduate Entrepreneur Visa (3) You can submit your application up until the day your student visa expires. And stay in the country legally, awaiting an answer to your case. It is important to remember that this only works if you are sending documents via Royal Mail.

When after two years you switch to Entrepreneur Visa (2) and you need to provide an investment of £50 thousand (with the discount described above), this £50 thousand can come from any source: grandfather from Krasnodar, brother from Sochi, investor in London.

Nare Vardanyan: Tech Nation Visa - a visa with a focus on personality

Tech Nation Visa (4) is a new type of visa initiated government organization Tech City UK. There are only 250 of these visas issued per year and there are restrictions on the scope of activity for those who apply for it. This should be a business in the field of innovative technologies. Moreover, in this business you can either get a job or open it yourself. The Tech City UK website details the technical skills required to apply for this visa.

First stage: you need to get Endorsement from Tech City UK. They look not only at experience, but also at leadership qualities: mentoring in the accelerator, tangible contribution to the development of the company, holding meetups. Instead of a business plan, you need to write an essay about why you consider yourself unique and attach 10 evidence of your remarkableness. The website describes in detail what exactly should be written and how.

Second stage: having received Endorsement, you can collect the package of remaining documents and apply for a visa. The visa is given for five years.

“I founded a company called Mindbin, where we train artificial intelligence to recognize emotions,” Nare says. - We started teaching bots to recognize emotions and generate responses that would be appropriate. I found a team of like-minded programmers, and we started working. But how to explain all this to Home Office? I already had Entrepreneur Visa (2), but it was ending and I couldn’t extend it. Then I had to work on myself for a long time to rebuild my consciousness and dare to call myself an “exceptional talent.” But I needed a visa, and I decided to try. At the end of the day, whether I receive “special talent” status or not is not my decision. The process of filling out the form and collecting documents is quite simple. The website describes the criteria and requirements in detail, and if you follow them strictly, you don’t need any lawyer, you can do everything yourself.

What helped me the most? I had patents on the technology we were developing and colleagues and mentors who were able to write me great recommendations.”

Victor Potapov: Entrepreneur Visa (2) through losses and lawsuits

Victor studied in the UK for 10 years. At the end of 2012 he submitted documents forentrepreneurial Entrepreneur Visa (2). I waited eight months for an answer. According to the rules, the answer should have come in six months, but it still didn’t come. When he contacted the immigration office, it turned out that his visa was denied, but the post office had lost the documents. At that time, he could only stay in the country for 11 more days, and he had to pick up his passport with a refusal from the department where cases of deportation of illegal migrants are considered.

“I ran around to law firms, but none of them were ready to file an appeal. According to the local rules, I couldn’t file an appeal without a lawyer,” says Victor. “At the airport, I was accompanied everywhere by a security guard with a machine gun; my passport was only given back when I boarded the plane.”

From Russia, Victor again applied for a student visa. He was rejected four times. Cause? Officials did not believe that he really wanted to study. Then he gave up trying and a year later applied again. Entrepreneur Visa (2). This time everything went well and he received a visa.

“It’s interesting that when I applied a year later, I literally submitted the same package of documents as the first time,” says Victor. - I didn’t change a single piece of paper! The only difference is that the first time the necessary amounts were in different accounts, including Russian ones, the second time I transferred all the money to one account - a British one. When the documents were sent back, I saw that no one had even opened the business plan! From which I conclude that visa officers only care about the availability of funds in the British account.”

In the photo: sometimes England can easily be confused with Russia.

The local vegetation is painfully reminiscent of nature middle zone Russia. Linden trees, poplars, ash trees, maples and birches so close to the Russian heart - sometimes driving through the London suburbs, you feel as if you are in the Moscow region. The only thing that brings you back to reality is the neat English houses made of red brick.

2. No curtains on the windows

In the photo: a townhouse in Notting Hill in London. Photo: www.pinterest.com.

For all their closedness and carefully guarded privacy, the British, oddly enough, do not try to physically isolate themselves from the outside world, even with curtains. Walking through the streets of London, you can easily witness the most authentic English life: here is a friendly family sitting comfortably on the sofa, watching TV. But the housewife is enthusiastically preparing something in the kitchen, and the child in the next room is intently doing his homework.

For curious passers-by, the daily life of the British appears in full view: the blinds on the windows are actually lowered infrequently, so that the coveted rays of light can freely penetrate into the home (thereby reducing electricity bills).

3. Separate taps

Photo: a popular way to solve the problem of double taps in England. Photo blogs.warwick.ac.uk.

Well, only the lazy didn’t speak about double English taps. I also mentioned them earlier in my articles. For some reason, subjects of the British Crown take great pleasure from the discovery of their compatriot Joseph Brahm, who introduced a system of screw taps - with hot and cold water- back in 1783, but at the same time they do not welcome the next, no less valuable, invention of another Englishman - Sir William Thomson, who guessed to add a mixer to the water supply system.

Over the years of living in England, I sincerely tried to understand how separate taps in the household could be beneficial - after all, there must be a practical meaning for such a long resistance to progress. And this is what I can say with confidence today: guys, there is no advantage in using two taps, just pure inconvenience. Perhaps this reflects the famous English stoicism: only the English are able to withstand the torture of ice or, on the contrary, excessive hot water with daily hand washing. Don't have English self-control? Look for housing with a mixer tap - this also happens here.

4. Left-hand traffic

Photo: www.independent.co.uk.

This fact is well known to every car enthusiast: British-made cars are equipped with a steering wheel on the right side. For reasons that are not entirely clear, in the UK and a handful of other "selected" countries, cars drive from right to left. Of course, it was long ago possible to change lanes and get in line with the rest of the world, where pedestrians, out of habit, look first to the left and only then to the right, but Britain has its own special path and carefully guarded traditions. It cannot be said that in this circumstance there is any benefit for the English; rather, on the contrary: when they get to countries with “normal traffic”, the English originals have to rebuild. In turn, for new immigrants to the UK, the need to retrain and get into a right-hand drive car causes frustration and bewilderment.

However, the laws left-hand traffic do not apply, as it turns out, to everyone: pedestrians, yes, unquestioningly walk on the left side of the sidewalk (except for the unfortunate tourists doomed to crash into local residents). But the subway trains, oddly enough, move from left to right. Apparently, to completely confuse the overseas guests.

5. Ubiquitous small talk

Caption on the picture: “Sometimes I put on headphones just to avoid small talk.” Source: www.quickmeme.com

This insignificant play on words, generally accepted in British society, only causes irritation for me personally. If you expect fast service in a cafe or store, you may be in for some surprises. Perhaps you are in a hurry important event, but this does not bother the elderly lady in line in front of you, who decided to exchange a few words with the cashier. And that’s all - good luck: until they talk to each other enough, the line won’t move a millimeter.

6. Sorry as an indulgence

Caption on the picture: (play on words) “I don’t always say sorry, but when I do, I’m very, very sorry.” Source: www.livememe.com

It is undoubtedly nice to know that you live in a civilized society. Any careless action or simply awkward invasion of your personal space is usually accompanied by a polite “Sorry.” I tried to count how many times a day I apologize to others without actually doing them anything bad: it came out more than a dozen times. This behavior is quite natural and expected in a society with high cultural standards. Another thing is surprising: that the subjects of the British Crown are ready to use their “sorry” as an indulgence in everything and always. Have you had no communication for weeks and your business has suffered losses because of it? The provider will almost certainly dismiss your claims with a “sorry.”

Something worse happened and you're filing a complaint against the medical facility? With your persistence, you have every chance of receiving a letter with a formal apology in the form of the same word. In principle, the notorious “sorry” does not carry any emotional load. When an Englishman really feels guilty, he asks for forgiveness using other expressions (for example, please take my sincere apologies).

So, don’t flatter yourself too much. The use of “sorry” is nothing more than a formality for the British.

7. English submission

In the photo: former Prime Minister David Cameron is rarely angry. Photo: www.dailystar.co.uk.

The British, who are not accustomed to rudeness, when faced with it, as a rule, are completely lost. Therefore, boors and insolent people feel quite at ease in the vastness of Britain.

If suddenly some daredevil decides to jump somewhere without a queue, then he is unlikely to meet active resistance: indignant glances - probably, muffled muttering - is very likely, but will this stop the shameless person?

However, occasionally the natives still “break through” and they begin to be loudly indignant, but, completely unable to “throw thunder and lightning,” the angry British look pitiful and unconvincing.

8. Public toilets

Photo: www.liverpoolecho.co.uk.

According to the old Russian habit, I for a long time avoided public toilets in England. My natural disgust and memory of these buildings in Russia ordered me to avoid them if possible. But my fears turned out to be completely unfounded: even the most ordinary “rest rooms” in the busiest places, be it hospitals or train stations, in England look well-groomed and clean. Many public toilets are equipped with sensitive flush buttons that respond to your hand, so you don’t even have to touch anything inside the stall.

9. Unwashed fruit

Photo: lifeunfold.com.

At first I was confused by advertisements in supermarkets telling me to rinse fruit before eating it. “Doesn’t anyone know that fruits need to be washed?” - I was perplexed. It turned out that there are many such unenlightened people here. I often see locals enjoying berries straight from the trays as soon as they leave the store. The most monstrous thing is that no exceptions are made even for children, who can easily be fed unwashed blueberries from a package. Of course, I don’t bother anyone with my instructions, because in England it’s not customary to lecture others, but I completely agree with the recommendations in stores.

10. Water from refrigerators

Photo: dishmag.com.

Sometimes I get the feeling that the British seem to consider their climate tropical, with all that it entails. At least in their minds, drinking water should be as cold as possible - ideally icy.

If suddenly in winter you pop into the store for a bottle of water, then look for it in the refrigerators, next to the dairy products. You have virtually no chance of finding a half-liter bottle that has not been brought to arctic temperatures.

11. No wild mushrooms

Photo: Prince Charles is not averse to picking mushrooms. Photo: www.telegraph.co.uk.

Oh, if you only knew how much I dream of picking mushrooms. I haven't done this since we moved to the UK, and mushroom picking used to be one of my favorite pastimes of the season. I am seriously considering the option of going on a paid excursion for this – that’s what my despair has brought me to. You won't find it in local stores. forest mushrooms, with the possible exception of Polish chanterelles in the summer. For some reason, there are no canned or frozen wild mushrooms in England.

The saddest thing is that picking mushrooms here is only allowed under strict conditions. certain places and strictly defined volumes, no more than 1.5 kg per person. It is believed that by clearing the forest, you thereby deprive forest animals of food. I was deeply shocked by the story when one Lithuanian woman, who wanted to pick mushrooms in the forest and collected them a little more than the permitted norm, severely paid for it: the court found the unfortunate woman guilty of breaking the law and sentenced her to a significant fine.

12. Love of football

Photo: www.telegraph.co.uk.

What the British - true football fans - probably known to every football fan. But not everyone knows what epidemic proportions this hobby has. From the very early age As soon as a child learns to walk, he learns to play with a ball. In England, football clubs for children of all ages are thriving: they accept children from the age of two, where they learn to make passes and score goals under the strict guidance of coaches. The most capable kids, accustomed to daily drills, have a good chance of getting into the youth teams of world-famous clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal.

13. Junk food addiction

Photo: Coleslaw salad, popular in England, with a high content of mayonnaise. Photo: www.recipeshubs.com.

In terms of the amount of mayonnaise consumed, the British can compete with the Russians (and, most likely, they will win).

Potato salad, coleslaw, pasta salad and other types of salads popular in England consist of mayonnaise almost half. Sandwiches, so beloved by the British, are necessarily smeared, again, with mayonnaise. Another popular snack here is potato chips, called crisps, in addition to harmful trans fats, contain (suddenly) vinegar, which can hardly be called healthy either.

It's surprising that with a huge variety of foods from all over the world, people in Britain choose frankly unhealthy food.

14. Long-term planning

Retro style finds everything more followers, therefore, the British haircut for men, which was once so popular, is back in fashion. Modern designer shows indicate its prevalence throughout the world. Most often, this hairstyle is chosen by self-confident, young, promising and energetic guys.

Haircut history

For the first time, the British woman, so popular in our time, appeared in the 50s of the last century. The main thing that attracts about this hairstyle is the appropriate combination of rebellious spirit and elegance. at the same time, a careless look is created, but without losing its aristocracy.

British, a men's haircut that first conquered Great Britain, quickly became popular in America and other countries Western Europe. She was considered a breakthrough in the fashion of men's hairstyles. It was an integral part of the dandy image.

British, How to cut a haircut

The rules for cutting hair are quite simple. It is done when the hair has reached medium length. At the back of the head, the hair is cut very short, but the length of the bangs is not removed. To create a British cut, thinning scissors are used.

At the back of the head and temples there is a smooth transition in length from 3 to 9 mm.

Depending on the type of appearance and wishes, you can either part it or not part it.

British men's haircut. Who is it suitable for?

Not so long ago, this hairstyle was more often referred to as a youth style, but after photographs of celebrities who preferred the haircut appeared in the media, the British hairstyle became trendy. After all, millions of fans of Justin Timberlake and Cristiano Ronaldo hastened to follow the example of their idols.

This looks beautiful on tall men who have thick hair medium length. The image that is created with its help will look romantic.

Many experts in the field of hairdressing and image creation say that the British men's haircut can easily refer to hairstyles that can be called universal. It suits people with various types appearance and hair structure. The only condition: choose the type of styling in accordance with the characteristics of your appearance.

How to style your hair correctly

The British men's haircut, photos of which are presented in the article, requires daily styling. This is the only difficulty. The installation itself is quite simple to perform and will not take more than 7-10 minutes if you have experience.

In order to give your hair the right look, you will need styling products:

  • hair gel;
  • wax;
  • varnish with a fixing effect.

Every morning after washing your hair, apply gel to still damp hair. After this, using a thin comb, the bangs are given the required shape.

For those who don't have a full mane, there's no need to despair: interesting image, which will emanate recklessness, can be obtained using a styler or diffuser.

You can do the styling in three ways, each of which will make you look different:

  • guiding long hair and bangs up;
  • combing your hair to one side;
  • fixing the hair towards the back of the head.

Types of British haircuts

Depending on the type of hair, its volume and thickness, choose a haircut and styling option. They differ:

  • smooth;
  • with voluminous bangs.

In the first case, the bangs are combed to the side. The emphasis is on shortening the hair length. Another new feature of the season is the use special means for shine.

For those with curls, the second option is more suitable: when styling, you need to give your bangs a lot of volume. If earlier this required constant visits, now the unequal length of the strands makes it possible for owners of hairstyles to do their own styling, while achieving the desired result.

What is the difference from a Canadian haircut?

The British men's haircut, the photo of which is presented below, is very similar to the Canadian one. These hairstyles differ in how they shorten the hair at the back of the head: when making a Canadian hairstyle, the hair is cut with a machine, and a British hairstyle is cut with scissors.

British haircut: how to dye your hair correctly

For those who not only want to have a stylish hairstyle, but also want to arouse the envy of others with their extraordinary style, you can try experimenting with color. Due to the fact that the hair is longer at the top of the head, this makes it possible to make it in different shades. Properly chosen colors not only diversify the appearance, but also make the image more effective and harmonious.

It should be remembered that bright, flashy colors will not add masculinity to the image. While the choice of shades from one color range, which is close to the natural color of the hair, will beneficially enliven the appearance.

Disadvantages of choosing a British hairstyle

Like any other hairstyle, this one has its disadvantages:

  1. Those with short hair who decide to get this haircut will have to wait until they grow to medium length.
  2. This is a hairstyle that involves short-haired temples, which is not suitable for people who have a very thin face, as it will visually stretch it out even more.
  3. Due to the fact that the hair is of different lengths, hair contamination is much more noticeable, so you will need to wash your hair at least once every two days. Although experts recommend doing this daily so that the strands do not suffer from the influence of styling products.
  4. This type of image is not suitable active people who are constantly on the move and spend a lot of time playing sports.
  5. It is not recommended to choose a British hairstyle for those who are constantly late and suffer from lack of time in the morning, since the hairstyle requires daily styling.

British, a men's haircut, is so beloved due to the fact that it suits business style, and to a cheerful, casual image, which is especially important for a harmonious developed personalities. This allows you to look different depending on the situation.

According to experts, the British haircut (men's haircut) will be at the peak of popularity for several more years and even after this time will not lose its followers.

The British men's hairstyle was popular several decades ago and has now become fashionable again. British - a haircut for stylish men, which has begun to appear more and more often on world markets. fashion shows, you can notice that fashion trends very often they come back, this happened in this case too. Many men prefer this particular hairstyle, as it makes the image more expressive and bold.
The British woman appeared in the fifties of the twentieth century and boldly took root. What attracted men was that even despite the restraint and aristocracy of the hairstyle, it nevertheless has its own individuality.

Her appearance looks restrained, but at the same time has hooligan shades.
The British hairstyle got its name in connection with its origin (it first appeared in Britain).

British hairstyle - haircut scheme

Among all the existing hairstyles for men, the British one is the most sophisticated and stylish. How to do it and what is needed for this, we will consider further.

In order for this haircut to be successful, it is necessary that the man’s hair be of medium length, while the bangs should be slightly longer than average. Any master can make such an image, since the creation process is very simple.
How to cut your hair to get a British hairstyle?

The technology for performing a British haircut is similar to the well-known Canadian hairstyle. The haircut diagram is presented below.

Styling may take a lot of time at first, when you are just starting to get used to the haircut, but in the future everything is easy and simple and will not require more than ten minutes of time. To style your hair, just a hairdryer and a comb are not enough; you need special means to secure the hair. It can be mousse or varnish. Also, men use wax very willingly.

If your hair is healthy and thick, then it is best to focus on your bangs, giving them volume using a comb of special styling products.

British hair coloring methods

For a British woman, coloring is very important; it gives special expressiveness to the image.
Since the hair differs in length, you can make different colors, it will look very cool. But you need to choose the right color, otherwise you can only ruin the haircut.

For a man, light colors that are close to natural are best suited. If the image contains a lot of bright color that just screams, then the hairstyle will not add masculinity, but, on the contrary, will create the image of a parrot. Color should be taken more seriously and responsibly. But it’s okay to play a little with brightness.

Highlighting works well, especially for the bang area.

Who should prefer this hairstyle?

The British men's haircut is quite universal, as it suits men different ages, and also suitable for different types faces. And even for children the hairstyle is acceptable.

Until recently, it was believed that the British hairstyle was suitable exclusively for young representatives of the stronger sex. But after many older celebrities, mostly foreign, began to use this hairstyle in their style, it became popular among a huge part of the population, despite their age.

As mentioned earlier, it is worth creating such a masculine look only if the hair has reached sufficient length. It is worth considering that the British style is not very suitable for thin hair, since the haircut looks best with a small amount of volume, especially on tall and slender men, it becomes harmonious and moderately romantic. But even if the hair is not particularly thick and the type of face is far from ideal, a competent hairdresser will still be able to choose the best option to make the styling look decent and emphasize everything that is needed.

First of all, very short hair Even a very good master will not be able to lay it out correctly and the image will be distorted. Therefore, you still need to wait for the correct length.
Secondly, the British style is a hairstyle that visually elongates the face. This is very good for people who have a round or plump face, as it will make it look thinner. But, if it is already elongated and thin, then such a haircut can only enhance everything, which is not at all beautiful for an adult man, or even for a guy.
Thirdly, with this type of styling, dirty curls stand out very strongly, so you will have to regularly monitor their condition. Consider whether this ongoing care option is right for you. If your work is connected to the road, where it is inconvenient to take a shower or your hair gets dirty very quickly, then it is better to abandon this hairstyle option.
