Neva MK 200 power. Attachments for the Neva motor cultivator
Motor-cultivators do not have as many functions as walk-behind tractors, however, despite this, they are still popular. This is confirmed by the appearance on the agricultural machinery market of such a product as motor cultivator Neva MK-200. A successful combination of convenient design and large quantity release options allows you to choose the ideal tool for your garden or summer cottage.
Design of the Neva MK-200 motor cultivator
Indeed, there are a number of modifications of the Neva MK-200 motor-cultivator. Their main difference is the model of the engine used. Not only power, but also assembly features depend on their characteristics. The Neva MK-200 motor cultivator is equipped with one of the engines Robin Subaru, Honda or 750 Series. The marking in the model name allows you to determine which engine is located inside. For example, for Robin Subaru it is used latin letter C. In this case, the figure indicates the engine power in conventional units. So, the maximum value in the marking - 6.0 corresponds to 6 hp.
This cultivator model, unlike many others, has a gearbox with two forward and one reverse speeds. They are simply switched using a mechanism located on the steering wheel handle. A transmission in the form of a gear-chain oil-filled gearbox is responsible for this process. The Neva MK-200 motor-cultivator is also equipped with a mechanical reverse, which greatly facilitates control.
The overall design is lightweight due to the use of aluminum alloy in the elements.
The steering wheel handles are adjustable, which allows people of any size to comfortably handle the area.
Optionally, the device can be supplemented with a power take-off shaft, which converts the cultivator into something like a walk-behind tractor.

Video about the Neva MK-200 motor cultivator
Motor-cultivator NEVA MK - 200 is the first cultivator of the domestic manufacturer "Red October - Neva", developed taking into account the characteristics of Russian soils. The cultivator is designed for long-term operation in various climatic conditions. This is a powerful and productive power unit, which, according to reviews from its owners, is considered one of the most suitable for processing large areas.
Description and purpose
The NEVA 200 motor-cultivator is a very popular model among Russian gardeners and summer residents, not losing its position since 1984. Lightweight design combined with a powerful engine and power units made of domestic metal ensure productive soil cultivation and care of crops in areas above average area. The high demand for this cultivator is confirmed by its excellent performance and low price.
The MK 200 model is usually classified as a middle-class motor cultivator. If you have separate equipment, it can fully perform the functions of a walk-behind tractor. Among the main tasks of the walk-behind tractor are agricultural and utility work, namely:
- plowing;
- cultivation;
- hilling;
- cutting beds;
- digging up tuber crops;
- planting garlic and potatoes;
- cleaning the area;
- soil leveling;
- mowing.
All operations are performed using special attachments, which are aggregated with other motor cultivators from this manufacturer.
The following power units for the NEVA 200 motor cultivator are widely used:
- trolley trailer;
- adaptable user seat;
- potato and garlic planter;
- rotary and friction mower;
- rotary snow blower or blade;
- adaptable water pump;
- potato harvester;
- rotary brush;
- additional wheels for movement;
- lugs.
High productivity when performing operations related to soil cultivation, transporting goods or cleaning the territory is associated with low costs. Firstly, it is the low cost of components and consumables, attachments and the motor cultivator itself.
Secondly, low fuel consumption, which corresponds to those declared by the manufacturer in the data sheet. The NEVA 200 cultivator consumes no more than 2 liters of A92 gasoline per hour. The profitability of the walk-behind tractor is also determined by the simplicity of the design and the optimal set of technical characteristics.
Technical and design features
The NEVA MK-200 cultivator compares favorably with its Chinese counterparts and consists of and looks like a simpler and more understandable design than similar branded motorcycle equipment foreign manufacturers.Design features that are also its advantageous characteristics include:
- lightweight body using aluminum alloy in parts;
- comfortable adjustable handles with gear shift;
- it is additionally equipped with a power take-off shaft, which turns it into a walk-behind tractor;
- powerful gearbox Russian production in an aluminum housing with a high gear ratio;
- option to install the cultivator in the parking position;
- double support wheel for greater stability;
- option for forced shutdown of one valve for quick maneuver around its axis together with attachments;
- the presence of a universal front pin for aggregating power units allows the use of attachments with NEVA MB-2;
- professional reliable engines from foreign manufacturers.
NEVA 200 cultivators are equipped with one of the following single-cylinder four-stroke engines with air cooled– HONDA GX160(120), SUBARU EX20(13,15,17), BRIGGS&STRATTON. Also available for sale are configurations with a SUBARU ER series engine, which is not listed in the list of recommended units for this cultivator model. The volumes of these engines, depending on the brand, are up to 2 liters. Power – from 4.4 to 6 hp. The NEVA 200 motor-cultivator with the SUBARU EX20 engine is considered the most reliable and powerful.
The transmission consists of three speeds. This is the first gearbox in Russia with two forward and one reverse speeds - an indispensable characteristic for motorcycles, facilitating controllability and improving maneuverability. Gear shifting is performed using levers and a spring structure with a closer located on the handles.
The cutter of the NEVA 200 cultivator provides deep plowing and loosening of the soil to a depth of up to 32 cm. This is ensured by a set of cutters with a diameter of 33 cm. The width of the cutter can be adjusted by installing an additional pair of knives. Cultivation using four knives provides coverage of an area 65 cm wide; using six knives, 96 cm is cultivated.
The dimensions of the cultivator - 1.61 x 0.96 x 1.12 m - allow it to be transported when parked in a light station wagon or van. Dry weight – from 58 kg. With attachments it can reach up to 75-80 kg.
Confidence in the reliability and durability of the NEVA 200 cultivator will ensure compliance with a number of recommendations for maintenance and operation.
- The manufacturer does not recommend installing engines that are not included in the list of recommended ones, especially those made in China.
- Timely filling of the gearbox and engine with special oils with the characteristics recommended by the manufacturer will extend the life of the units. Use of inappropriate fuels and lubricants has a detrimental effect on the engine and important components of equipment.
- Before and after operation, it is necessary to check components and assemblies. In preparation for long-term storage, it is necessary to thoroughly clean and lubricate moving parts.
- Work with the cultivator should be carried out in strong shoes and trousers.
