Prayer against desecration. Prayer against night desecration

Desecration in Orthodoxy is a purely male sin, implying ejaculation (“expiration”) in a dream or sexual intercourse with a woman outside of marriage. Orthodox Christians who have expired in a dream are assigned by their confessor a prayer against desecration, which they read in accordance with certain rules and instructions.

Modern clergy define desecration as any discharge in a dream, including during the copulation of spouses. But church canons, in particular, the Rules of Athanasius the Great, do not consider expiration in marital relations to be sinful (except during times of strict fasting). Moreover, it is clarified that it is not the seed itself that is desecrated, but the desires that provoke its eruption.

Reasons for desecration

There are 6 reasons leading to expiration, of which three are not sinful:

  • from carnal thoughts and lust
  • from arrogance and pride
  • from gluttony and alcohol abuse
  • natural ejaculation (in a dream)
  • from weakness and illness
  • from demonic envy

The first three reasons are considered the embodiment of sin, therefore, the ejaculation caused by them is defilement. The flow of sin is most condemned among the sacred brethren. There are even separate prayers of repentance for them.

Refrain from at a young age It’s hard when monks come to serve the Lord. It takes long and hard work to tame human flesh and not give in to temptation. The devil makes every effort to make young souls show weakness, and tries to get novices to leave the chosen righteous path.

Confessor appointments

Prayers against desecration are divided into prayers for parishioners and prayers for church ministers.

Men who have sinned, as a result of carnal thoughts, should get up and first read a prayer of worship to the Heavenly King, then read Psalm No. 50 and sing troparia (tone 7). Finish by saying the words “Lord, have mercy” 40 times and making 50 deep bows, asking God for forgiveness.

Prayer to the King of Heaven

“Heavenly King, Comforter of the Soul of Truth, who is everywhere and fulfills everything, Treasure of good things and Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all filth, and save our blessed souls.”
sheep, and humble their evil hearts, and crush them like dust in the face of the wind. Oh, Lord the Great Archangel Michael! Six-Winged First Prince and Voivode Heavenly forces- Cherubim and Seraphim, be our helper in all troubles, sorrows, sorrows, a quiet refuge in the desert and on the seas. O Lord the Great Archangel Michael! Deliver us from all the charms of the devil, when You hear us, sinners, praying to You, calling Your name Holy. Hasten to our aid and overcome all who oppose us with the power of Honest and Life-giving Cross Lord's prayers Holy Mother of God, the prayers of the holy Apostles, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, Andrew, for Christ's sake, the holy fool, the holy prophet Elijah and all the holy great martyrs: the holy martyrs Nikita and Eustathius, and all our reverend fathers, who have pleased God from the ages, and all the holy Heavenly Powers.”

Then prayers to St. Basil (known as the Archbishop of Caesarea) are necessarily read. Saint Basil described fasting as deliverance from sins, imaginable and inconceivable. He condemned drunkenness as a product of the devil, leading to sinful acts.

Prayer to Basil the Great

“Much merciful, incorruptible, undefiled, sinless Lord, cleanse me, Thy unworthy servant, from all filthiness of the flesh and soul, and from my inattention and despondency the uncleanness that has come to me, along with all my other iniquities, and show me undefiled, Master, for the goodness of Christ Yours, and sanctify
me by the invasion of Your Most Holy Spirit: for having awakened from the darkness of the unclean ghosts of the devil and all filth, I was deemed worthy with a clear conscience to open my unclean and unclean lips, and sing Thy all-holy name, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and forever forever and ever. Amen."

The confessor can also assign a layman the reading of prayers, with an appeal to the Most Holy Theotokos or to John Chrysostom. In the texts, the prayer asks for patience, humility, generosity and meekness, and protection from passions.

Prayer to John Chrysostom

“O great saint John Chrysostom! You received many and varied gifts from the Lord and, as a good and faithful servant, you multiplied all the talents given to you for good, for this reason you were truly a universal teacher, as every age and every rank learns from you. You are the image of obedience to the youth,
a luminary of chastity, a teacher of hard work for husbands, a teacher of kindness for the elderly, a rule of abstinence for monks, a leader inspired by God for those who pray, an enlightener of mind for those seeking wisdom, an inexhaustible source of living words for those who seek good words, a star of mercy for those who do good, a wise image for rulers. , a zealot of truth - an inspirer of boldness, a mentor of righteousness to those persecuted - a teacher of patience, you were all, and you saved everyone. Over all of these you have acquired love, which is the bond of perfection, and with that, as if by the power of the Divine, you have united all the gifts in one person in one, and here you have shared the reconciling love, in the interpretation of the words of the apostles, you preached to all the faithful. We, sinners, each one of us having our own talent, the unity of spirit in the union of the world are not imams, we are vainglorious, irritating each other, envious of each other, for this sake of the gift our divided not into peace and salvation, but into enmity and condemnation appear to us. Moreover, we fall to you, the saint of God, overwhelmed by discord, and in contrition of heart we ask: with your prayers drive away from our hearts all pride and envy that divides us, so that in many places there will be one church body, so that, according to your prayerful words, we will love each other and with one mind we confess the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Trinity, Consubstantial and Indivisible, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen."

The priests read a special prayer of repentance to the Lord God.

Prayer “For Priests”

“Lord our God, the only Good and Lover of mankind, the only Holy One and resting on the saints, who was revealed in vision to Your supreme Apostle Peter, nothing foul or unclean, from You created for food and for the enjoyment of man, and Your chosen vessel, the Apostle Paul, all clean clean
commanded: You Yourself, the Most Holy Master, by invoking Your terrible and most pure Name, and by the sign of the terrible and Life-giving Cross, bless and cleanse me Your servant (name), who has been defiled from every unclean spirit, from every dream and poisonous reptile, from all lawlessness and from all flattery, from every kind of indulgence, and every kind of evil, and from every nasty evil deed of the devil. And now Thy servant (name) who is unworthy of me: grant, through Thy mercy, to serve Thy most pure Mysteries. And first cleanse my soul and body from all filth, and forsake every sin, voluntary and involuntary, that I have sinned all the days of my life, in deed, word and thought, in days and in nights, and until this hour. And grant to me, Lord, this terrible service of the heavenly Orders, and the communion of Thy Most Pure Mysteries, not for judgment or condemnation, but for the forgiveness of sins, and the coming of the Holy Spirit, and the life of ever-present joy, which Thou hast prepared for Thy true minister. Save me, Lord Almighty, from all sin and malice, keep me undefiled and blameless from all leprosy of the opposite devil: and grant me, Lord, to serve You in honor and righteousness until the last day and hour and the end of my life: for You are the One who blesses and sanctifies all things. “O Christ our God, we send up glory to You, with Your Originless Father, and with Your Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, Amen.”

Deacons and hieromonks talk about the need to perform the sacrament of communion after desecration has occurred:
“If a layman has been tempted by Satan, then it is imperative to receive communion, so that the devil will no longer seduce him into weak flesh. If he has been subjected to the lust of his wife, then he should not receive communion.”

In all cases, men who have experienced expiration in their sleep should, after reading the mandatory common prayer turn to your spiritual fathers for repentance and forgiveness. There is no need to be shy, because human weaknesses are visible and understandable to the Heavenly Father, and his love for his children is limitless.

“Much merciful, incorruptible, undefiled, sinless Lord, cleanse me, Thy unworthy servant, from all filthiness of the flesh and soul, and from my inattention and despondency the uncleanness that has come to me, along with all my other iniquities, and show me undefiled, Master, for the goodness of Christ Yours, and sanctify me by the invasion of Your Most Holy Spirit: for having aroused from the darkness of the unclean ghosts of the devil and all kinds of filth, I may be deemed worthy with a clear conscience to open my unclean and unclean lips, and sing Thy all-holy name, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever , and forever and ever. Amen."

Prayer to Basil the Great for success in business

“Oh, great saint Basil the Great! You have received many and varied gifts from the Lord, and like a good and faithful servant, you have multiplied all the talents given to you for good: for this reason, you were truly a universal teacher, as every age and every rank comes from you. Behold, you appeared as an image of obedience to the youth, a luminary of chastity to the young, a mentor of hard work to the husband, a teacher of kindness to the old, a teacher of kindness to the monk, a rule of abstinence to the monk, an inspired leader from God to those who pray, an illuminator of the mind to those who have wisdom, an inexhaustible source of living words to those who have good words, to those who do good. - a star of mercy, a leader - an image of right rule, a zealot of truth - an inspirer of boldness, a mentor of truth for the persecuted - patience: you were all, and you saved everyone. Over all of these you have acquired love, which is the basis of perfection, and with that, as if by the power of the Divine, you have united all the gifts in your soul into one, and the reconciling love shared here, in the interpretation of the words of the apostles, you preached to all the faithful. We are sinners, each one of us has his own gift, we are not imams of the unity of spirit into a union of peace, but we are vain, irritating each other, envious of each other: for this reason, our division, divided not into peace and salvation, but into enmity and condemnation, has turned over to us. Moreover, we fall to you, the saint of God, overwhelmed by discord, and in contrition of heart we ask: with your prayers drive away from our hearts all pride and envy that divides us, so that in many places we may remain one church body without restraint, so that according to your prayerful words we may love each other and with one mind and confession of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Trinity, Consubstantial and Indivisible, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen."

Prayer of Basil the Great to exorcise demons

I conjure you and all the fallen power consistent with your will: I conjure you, unclean soul, by the God of hosts, and by all the host of the angels of God, Adonai Eloi and God Almighty, go out and separate from the servant of God ( Name), I conjure you by God the Word who created everything, and by our Lord Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, who was born before the ages ineffably and impassively from Him, who made visible and invisible creation, who created man in His image, who was the first natural law of this child-bearer, and by angelic command who have preserved: who have drowned sin from above with water, and who have desolate the abysses of heaven, and who have corrupted the unhonored giants, and who have shaken the pillar of the abominable, and who have incinerated the land of Sodom and Gomorrah with a terrible fire, whose witness is the unquenchable smoke; with a rod we divided the sea, and led through the people with wet feet, and the tormentor of Pharaoh, and the army fighting against God, who forever drowned the battle with the waves of wickedness; V last days from the Pure Virgin, incarnated inexpressibly, and preserving the entire seal of purity, to wash away with baptism our ancient filth, with which we were desecrated by crime. I conjure you to those who were baptized in the Jordan, and to those who gave us an image of incorruption in the water by grace; His angels and all the powers of heaven were amazed, the incarnation of God, the Humbled One, is seen, when the Beginningless Father, the beginningless Nativity of the Son is revealed, and the descent of the Holy Spirit, the Trinity Unity is testified. I conjure you by Him who forbade the wind, and tamed the storm of the sea, drove away the demonic army, and made the eyes of the eye from the womb deprived by the clay of blind sight, and ancient family Renewed our creation, and corrected the dumb hedgehogs: Cleansed the scabs of leprosy, and resurrected the dead from the graves, even before the burial of a person, Conversed, and Captured hell by rebellion, and Arranged all mankind without death. I conjure you by God Almighty, Who inspired man with the inspired voice, and who contributed to the apostle, and who filled the whole universe with piety: fear, flee, flee, be separated from the unclean and nasty demon, the underworld, the deep, flattering, ugly, visible for the sake of lack of attention, invisible for the sake of hypocrisy, even if you, or depart, or Beelzebub himself, or shake, or serpentine, or animal-like, or like a pair, or like a bird, or a nocturnal, or deaf, or dumb, or frightening from an invasion, or tear to pieces, or slander, or in a dream heavy, or ill-natured, or in an ulcer, or in a mixture of slobbering, or creating lustful tears, or fornicating, or evil-smelling, or lustful, or sensual, or poison-loving, or lustful, or star-sorcerer, or a house-wizard, or cold-free, or covetous, or fickle, or changing with the month, or changing with a certain time, or morning, or midday, or midnight, or some yearlessness, or brilliance, or you met by chance, or from whom you were sent, or you found it suddenly, or in the sea, or in a river, or from the earth, or from a well, or from a rapid, or from a ditch, or from a lake, or from a reed, or from a substance, or from the top of the earth, or from filth, or from a meadow, or from a forest, or from the tree, or from the birds, or from the thunder, or from the cover of the bannah, or from the font of water, or from the idol’s tomb, or from the unknown, or from the unknown, or from the known, or from the unknown, or from an unvisited place, separate and change , be ashamed of the image created and imagined by the hand of God: fear the incarnate likeness of God, and do not hide yourself in the servant of God ( Name), but a rod of iron, and a furnace of fire, and tartar, and gnashing of teeth, the vengeance of disobedience awaits you. Fear, be silent, flee, do not return, nor hide yourself with any of the wickedness of unclean spirits: but go away into a waterless, empty, unmade land, where no man dwells: God alone looks upon and binds all those who wound and speak evil of His image, and with chains of darkness, betraying Tartarus, in the long night and day, to you all the evil tempters and inventors of the devil. For great is the youth of God, and great is the glory of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen."

Prayer against desecration of St. Basil the Great

Most merciful, incorruptible, undefiled, sinless Lord, cleanse me, Thy unworthy servant, from all filthiness of the flesh and soul, and from my inattention and despondency the uncleanness that has come to me, along with all my other iniquities, and show me undefiled, O Master, for the goodness of Thy Christ , and sanctify me by the invasion of Your Most Holy Spirit: for having awakened* from the darkness of unclean ghosts of the devil and all kinds of filth, I may be deemed worthy with a clear conscience to open my unclean and unclean lips, and sing Thy all-holy name, the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, now and ever , and forever and ever. Amen.

Sometimes someone is tempted in a dream by the action of the devil, rising from his bed, he bows, saying:

God, be merciful to me, a sinner.

The same beginning is usual:

Our Father... Lord, have mercy (12). Glory, even now. Come, let us bow... (three times). Have mercy on me, God...

And this troparia, tone 7
Good shepherd, who laid down your soul for us, aware of the hidden things that I have done, the only good one, save me with my erring mind, and snatch me from the wolf, Lamb of God, and have mercy on me. Weighed down by the sleep of despondency, I am darkened by the delusion of sin: but grant me the morning of repentance, enlightening the eyes of my mind, O Christ God, enlightenment of my soul, and save me. We weave the mind of my damned soul with the darkness of sin and the sweets of life, it gives birth to various passions, and the thought of tenderness does not come. But be generous, O Savior, with my humility, and give me a thought of compunction, so that we may save before the end I will cry out to Your compassion: Lord Christ my Savior, save me, desperate and unworthy. Just as I fell into the hands of robbers and was vulnerable, so I fell into many sins, and my soul is vulnerable. To whom shall I resort when guilty: only to You, the merciful Physician of souls: pour out Your great mercy on me, O God.
Glory: Yako prodigal son I came and I, Generous: receive me, Father, when I return, as one of Thy hired servant, O God, and have mercy on me.
And now: Theotokos
Deliver, O Mother of God, from the sins that hold us back: for the imams have no other hope of faith except You, and the Lord born of You.
Also: Lord, have mercy (40). And 8 bows, with the prayer: God, be merciful to me, and forgive me the prodigal for Your Holy Name.

First prayer, Saint Basil the Great
The packs were cursed by their minds and evil customs, working in sin. Paki, the prince of darkness and passionate sweets, the parent, has created me captivated, and like a humble slave, he forces me to work with desire and carnal desire. And what will I do, my Lord, both to the Deliverer and the Intercessor of those who trust in You, if not to You I will return and groan and ask for mercy for what I have done; but I am afraid and trembling, but not always confessing, and promising to retreat from the evil ones, and sinning every hour: and not having rendered my prayer to You, my God, I will raise Your long-suffering to indignation. And whoever endures Your wrath, O Lord; Knowing therefore the multitude of Your bounties, and the abyss of Your love for mankind, I again turn myself to Your mercy, and I cry to You: forgive those who have sinned. Have mercy on me, fallen, give me a helping hand, immersed in the mud of sweets. Do not, Lord, leave Your creation to be corrupted by my iniquities and my sins: but by Your usual mercy and goodness we compel you to deliver from feces and bodily filth and passionate thoughts, which always defile my accursed soul: for behold, Lord, as you see, there is no place in it she is clean, but she is all leprous, and her whole body is covered in ulcers. For yourself, O Lover of mankind, physician of souls and bodies and source of mercy, cleanse that flow of my tears, pouring them out on me abundantly: pour out Your love for mankind on me, and give me healing and cleansing, and heal my contrition, and do not turn Your face away from me , but not like a thing, the fire of despair will engulf me: but as You have declared, O unfalse God, that there is great joy in heaven for one sinner who repents, do this also for me, a sinner, and do not close the ear of Your compassion in the prayer of my repentance; but open them, and like a censer, correct it before You: weigh the weakness of nature to the Creator, and make comfortable the creep of youth, and the heaviness of the body, and despise sins, and accept the repentance of those who call upon You with the truth. For Your most honorable and magnificent name, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, is blessed and glorified, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Second prayer, Saint Basil the Great
Most merciful, imperishable, undefiled, sinless Lord, cleanse me, Thy unworthy servant, from all filthiness of the flesh and soul, and from my inattention and despondency the uncleanness that has come to me, along with all my iniquities, and show me undefiled, O Master, for the goodness of Thy Christ , and sanctify me with the invasion of Your Most Holy Spirit: for having aroused from the darkness of the unclean ghosts of the devil, and all kinds of filth, I may be deemed worthy with a clear conscience to open my unclean and unclean lips, and sing Thy all-holy name, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and ever forever and ever. Amen.

Prayer three
Lord our God, who have sinned in these days in word, deed and thought, as He is Good and Lover of Mankind, forgive me. Grant me a peaceful and serene sleep. Send Your guardian angel, covering and keeping me from all evil, for You are the guardian of our souls and bodies, and we send glory to You, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

My Most Holy Lady Theotokos, with Your saints and all-powerful prayers, take away from me, Your humble and cursed servant, despondency, oblivion, unreason, negligence, and all the nasty, evil and blasphemous thoughts from my cursed heart and from my darkened mind; and extinguish the flame of my passions, for I am poor and damned. And deliver me from many and cruel memories and enterprises, and free me from all evil actions. For Thou art blessed from all generations, and glorified is Thy most honorable name forever and ever. Amen.

Also: Most honorable Cherub... Glory, even now. Lord, have mercy (three times). God bless.
And let go:
Lord Jesus Christ, our God, prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother and all the saints, save me, a sinner.

Prayer from desecration
Lord our God, the only Good and Lover of mankind, the only Holy One and rest on the saints, Who was revealed to Your supreme Apostle Peter by vision, nothing foul or unclean to behold, from You created for food and for the enjoyment of man, and Your chosen vessel, the Apostle Paul is all pure commanded pure: You Yourself, the Most Holy Master, by invoking Your terrible and most pure name, and by the sign of the Honest and Life-giving Cross, bless and cleanse me, Your servant (name), defiled from every hostile spirit, from every dream and poisonous reptile, from every lawlessness and all flattery, from all indulgence and from all vanity, and from every ailment, and from every kind of illness, and from every nasty villainy of the devil. And now, through Your mercy, grant Thy servant, unworthy of me, to serve Thy most pure Mysteries. And first cleanse my soul and body from all filth, and forsake every sin, voluntary and involuntary, that I have sinned all the days of my life, in deed, word and thought, in days and in nights, and until this hour. And grant me, Lord, this terrible service of the heavenly Orders, and the communion of Your most pure Mysteries, not for judgment or condemnation, but for the forgiveness of sins, and the coming of the Holy Spirit, and the life of ever-present joy, which You have prepared for Your true minister. Save me, Lord Almighty, from all sin and malice, keep me undefiled and blameless from all leprosy of the opposite devil: and grant me, Lord, to serve You in honor and righteousness until the last day and hour and the end of my life: for You are the One who blesses and sanctifies all things. O Christ our God, we send up glory to You with Your Beginning Father and with Your Most Holy and Good and Life-Giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

(These are prayers for men when desecration occurs to them in a dream. Read only with the blessing of the confessor)

When someone happens to be tempted in a dream by the work of the devil, rising from his bed, he bows, saying:

God, be merciful to me, a sinner.

Then the beginning is usual:

Heavenly King, Comforter, Soul of truth, Who is everywhere and fulfills everything, Treasure of good things and Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all filth, and save, O Good One, our souls.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (Three times)

Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord, cleanse our sins; Master, forgive our iniquities; Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Thy name's sake.

Lord, have mercy. (Thrice)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven! Hallowed be thy name, let him come Your kingdom, Thy will be done as it is in heaven and on earth. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, just as we forgive our debtors; and do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Lord, have mercy. (12 times)

Come, let us worship our God the King. (Bow)

Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King God. (Bow)

Come, let us bow and fall down to Christ Himself, the King and our God. (Bow)

Psalm 50

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your mercies, cleanse my iniquity. Above all, wash me from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin; for I know my iniquity, and I will take away my sin before me. To You alone have I sinned and done evil before You; for you may be justified in all of Your words, and you will always triumph over Your judgment. Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and my mother gave birth to me in sins. Behold, you have loved the truth; You have revealed to me the unknown and secret wisdom of Yours. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. My hearing brings joy and joy; humble bones will rejoice. Repel your face Cleanse me from my sins and all my iniquities. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit away from me. Reward me with the joy of Your salvation and strengthen me with the Lord’s Spirit. I will teach the wicked Your way, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation; My tongue will rejoice in Your righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will declare Your praise. As if you had desired sacrifices, you would have given them: you do not favor burnt offerings. The sacrifice to God is a broken spirit; God will not despise a broken and humble heart. Bless Zion, O Lord, with Your favor, and may the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then favor the sacrifice of righteousness, the offering and the burnt offering; Then they will place the bullock on Your altar.

And troparia, tone 7:

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Like the prodigal son came and I, Generous: receive me, Father, when I return, as one of Thy hired servant, O God, and have mercy on me.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Theotokos: Deliver, O Mother of God, from the sins that hold us back: for the imams have no other hope of faith except You, and the Lord born of You.

Lord have mercy (40 times).

Then 50 prostrations with prayer:

God, be merciful to me, and forgive me the prodigal for Your Holy Name.

Prayer 1, Saint Basil the Great

The packs were cursed by their minds and evil customs, working in sin. Paki, the prince of darkness and passionate sweets, the parent, has created me captivated, and like a humble slave, he forces me to work with desire and carnal desire. And what will I do, my Lord, and the Deliverer and Intercessor of those who trust in You, if not to You I will return and groan and ask for mercy for what I have done; but I am afraid and trembling, but not always confessing, and promising to retreat from the evil ones, and sinning every hour: and not having rendered my prayer to You, my God, I will raise Your long-suffering to indignation. Amen.

Prayer 2, his

Amen.

Prayer 3

Lord our God, who have sinned in these days in word, deed and thought, as He is Good and Lover of Mankind, forgive me. Grant me a peaceful and serene sleep. Send Your guardian angel, covering and keeping me from all evil, for You are the guardian of our souls and bodies, and we send glory to You, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Prayer 5, to the Blessed Virgin Mary

My Most Holy Lady Theotokos, with Your saints and all-powerful prayers, take away from me, Your humble and accursed servant, despondency, oblivion, foolishness, negligence, and all the nasty, evil and blasphemous thoughts from my accursed heart and from my darkened mind; and extinguish the flame of my passions, for I am poor and damned. And deliver me from many and cruel memories and enterprises, and free me from all evil actions. For Thou art blessed from all generations, and glorified is Thy most honorable name forever and ever. Amen.

Then

We magnify Thee, the most honorable Cherub and the most glorious without comparison, the Seraphim, who gave birth to God the Word without corruption.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Lord have mercy (three times).

God bless.

Lord Jesus Christ, our God, prayers for the sake of Your Most Pure Mother and all the saints, save me, a sinner.

Prayer against desecration.

This prayer is for priests; lay people do not need to read it.

Lord our God, the only Good and Lover of mankind, the only Holy One and rest on the saints, who appeared in vision to Your supreme Apostle Peter, nothing foul or unclean to behold, from You created for food and for the enjoyment of man, and Your chosen vessel, the Apostle Paul, is all pure commandment to the pure: You Yourself, the Most Holy Master, by invoking Your terrible and most pure Name, and by the sign of the terrible and Life-giving Cross, bless and cleanse me Your servant (Name) defiled from every unclean spirit, from every dream and poisonous reptile, from all lawlessness and from all flattery, from every indulgence, and every kind of evil, and from every nasty villainy of the devil. And now Your servant, unworthy of me, (Name): grant me, through Your mercy, to serve Your most pure Mysteries. Save me, Lord Almighty, from all sin and malice, keep me undefiled and blameless from all leprosy of the opposite devil: and grant me, Lord, to serve You in honor and righteousness until the last day and hour and the end of my life: for You are the One who blesses and sanctifies all things. , Christ our God, we send up glory to You, with Your Originless Father, and with Your Most Holy and Good and Life-Giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, Amen.
