Cooking process

1. Pour sunflower oil into the bottom of a glass jar.

3. Boil the brine and cool slightly.

To prepare a salad of chopped tomatoes and onions for the winter you will need:
tomatoes;

2-3 cloves of garlic;
1-2 bay leaves;
5-6 black peppercorns;
2-3 rings hot pepper;

For brine (for 4 liter jars):
2 liters of water;
6 tbsp. l. Sahara;
6 tsp. salt;
4 tbsp. l. vinegar 9%.

Cooking steps

Place garlic, peppercorns, hot pepper rings on the bottom of each sterilized jar, bay leaf and greens.

Cut the onions and tomatoes into slices and place them in jars in layers.

Bring 2 liters of water to a boil and pour it over our tomatoes. Leave the tomatoes in boiling water for 3 minutes. Pour water from the can of tomatoes into the pan, bring it to a boil and again pour in the tomatoes in the cans. After 3 minutes, pour the water back into the pan, add sugar and salt, bring to a boil and add vinegar to the water, remove the marinade from the heat. Pour the prepared hot marinade into the jars with tomatoes and onions, screw on the boiled lids.

Turn the jars over and wrap them in warm blanket. We store jars at room temperature. A salad of chopped tomatoes and onions is very tasty; in winter it will be a great addition to many dishes.
