PUBG: How to aim better (scale, sights and range). PUBG: How to aim better (scale, sights and range) World of tanks sight zoom

Head to the training ground. The only way to accurately aim at optical sight– shoot from different positions. The easiest way is to do this at a shooting range, usually where you are confident in the distances and the presence of a bullet trap. As always, practice gun safety on shooting day, wear eye and ear protection, and bring plenty of ammunition.

  • Use special targets for shooting in the form of a target. They usually have many divisions, which will allow you to make more precise adjustments to the weapon. The more sure you are of how “missing” the shot was, the more accurately you can lead to a normal fight.
  • Follow the special instructions and rules of the range where you shoot.

Secure the weapon in a special shooting machine. When you zero a gun, you want to eliminate human error from the equation as much as possible. In other words, you can't miss the target. To get the most accurate match, you should mount the gun specifically for this purpose in a shooting machine, which is available at most sporting goods stores or can be rented from your local gun club. More and more reasons to go to the range.

  • If you don't have a solid shooting stand, get into as stable a shooting position as possible. Even if you take a couple of even books, or shoes or a jacket, you can put the weapon on them and shoot more accurately. Just make sure that whatever you put on it is away from the frame of the bolt.
  • Load the weapon and fire three to five shots using the scope. Wait for the signal “For battle!” and look through your scope while aiming it at the target. Place your cheek against the magazine and maintain the same sight picture as you normally would. Remove the safety lock. Once you've finished exhaling, hold for a split second, then squeeze the trigger firmly without shaking for the most accurate shot. For the most accurate first pass, repeat 3-5 times.

Assess the accuracy of your shot. Wait for the all clear signal, engage the safety and unload the weapon, double checking to be sure. Shoot your target or view it up close to get an accurate picture of your shots. The adjustments are up to you.

Make adjustments using the knob and check again. Return to the rifle and make adjustments using the adjustment knobs on the top and side of the scope. Each scope has a slightly different adjustment mechanism, but the principles are mostly the same. Read the next section for detailed setup instructions.

    • When the adjustment is complete, repeat the process. Shoot five more circles, check accuracy, and adjust again. This is the process.
    • It's a good idea to mark the holes in the target that you've already made so you don't get confused later, or use a new target. Especially for this purpose, there are targets with four or five different targets.
  • Zero the scope from different distances. In general, most shooters prefer to zero their weapon from a variety of positions, paying more attention to the distances you are likely to shoot from. The same basic procedure and adjustment can be done in each position, but you need to judge from at least two and probably more, even three or four distances.

Our PUBG guide explains how to improve your aim, whether you're zooming at long range or aiming up close.

You may be equipped with the best weapons that PUBG has to offer, but you won't be able to kill your opponent without being able to aim at the target and take them down with relative ease. Part of the problem with PUBG is that the pace of the game isn't always conducive to improving your aim, especially since there aren't any deathmatch servers specifically designed to practice your shot with a wide variety of weapons.

A huge number of guns, attachments, firing modes and recoil patterns can be improved. The lack of respawns also means that you will have very limited opportunity Practice shooting opponents in different scenarios before finishing the game. It may take hundreds of rounds before you become more powerful with all the weapons on offer and start taking down enemies skillfully, but we are here to help speed up the process.

Below we have compiled some tips and tricks that will help you improve your aim in PUBG.

It's worth noting that this is the first iteration of our guide video, and we will continue to add tips and tricks as we lose more time in the game. Stay tuned very soon!

The image below from redditor iamAXO shows how to use the area when shooting enemies at different ranges. This is what the video above illustrates, even in great detail, so make sure you take the time to do it right.

    100 m – Chevron type.
200 m – the lower part of the chevron.
    300 m – upper part lines.
400 m, 500 m, 600 m are the first cut, second cut and third cut on the line, respectively.

    How to shoot moving targets

Landing shots on moving targets is one of the most difficult aspects to master in PUBG.

Again, WackyJacky101's video is a must watch for anyone looking to improve their aim when shooting targets that are running in the open.

The first thing you'll want to consider is distance, but how do you calculate how far your target is when you're under pressure? You can't reach the ruler, so it's up to your own intuition to get it right - the more you play, the more your decision will improve.

    Here are some tips:

    • When you are in front of the target, which is about 100 meters away, imagine that there is one person standing in front of you and shoot at that position.
    • For opponents 200 meters away from you, your target is two imaginary people.
    • It's okay if you miss the first shot, just watch the bullet and adjust your shot slightly!
    • Various guns have different speeds bullets, so that's another variable you'll want to consider.

    How to better navigate

    General Tips

    • It is very important that you set your mouse settings right away. Consider your DPI rating, mouse acceleration, and general settings sensitivity in the game to find the balance that's perfect for you. We highly recommend checking out our best PIPG mouse DPI and sensitivity settings guide for some useful tips and tricks on this front.
    • It goes without saying, but practice really does make you perfect. Keep playing and over time you will gain invaluable experience!
    • Instead of avoiding fights or playing them safe, be aggressive and pursue fights as you try to work on your goal. Even if you end up losing the vast majority of duels, this is one the best ways improve your shooting speed and you'll gradually become more comfortable with the many weapons on offer.
    • Give it a go and try out some quick tours where you actively watch the gunfights. Plot in populated areas, such as Pochinka, School, Los Leones, Hacienda Del Patron or any other large city or city for some intense action right from the start.
    • Another great way kill your target - go into Squad matches as a solo player. So you will encounter much a large number enemies and get more action as a result.

    Aiming Tips

    • Pressing while you're aiming will temporarily stop your weapon from swinging from side to side. This is great for stabilizing your shots when shooting at targets at a distance or lining up a head shot from behind. Just keep an eye on the lung capacity meter that appears at the base of your HUD as you do so. Once it's over, you'll have to wait for it to recharge before you can hold your breath again.
    • We cannot stress the importance of recoil control. Whenever you are about to fire a shot, make sure you are prepared for the gun to rise or swing to the side.
    • At close range, we recommend hip shooting or equipping scopes such as Red-Dot or Holographic for greater accuracy.
    • This one is pretty obvious, but you'll want to use 4X, 8X, and 15X Scopes when facing enemies from a distance. Don't be afraid to keep them in your inventory and trade them among each other as the situation dictates!
    • The best players know how to peek properly, and this is something you need to master to have the best chance of getting kills. Pressing [Q] and [E] while aiming will cause you to lean left and right respectively, which is fantastic for peeking around corners or under covers. Be unpredictable and reinvent yourself into corners by picking out some quick shots to put your enemies in a difficult position.
    • You will automatically discourage shooting from sniper rifle, which means you'll have a hard time seeing if your bullet hits anywhere near your target.

Many gamers who installed were able to greatly improve their marksmanship performance. But, in the process of using this modification, a drawback emerged. The bottom line is that in dynamic battles, the process of reducing the magnification from maximum to minimum takes more time than the gamer would like.

And in a situation in which, after shooting at a distant target at the highest magnification, you need to change your deployment, that is, switch to arcade mode, and then fire again at the enemy, but who is already at a short distance from you, maintaining the zoom magnification in sniper mode can be very greatly complicate the situation. After all, it may be difficult to instantly catch an opponent at gunpoint with such a magnification, and reducing the magnification with highest value to the minimum occurs in several steps, that is, it also takes away precious seconds from you. As a result, the opponent gets a head start, which may be sufficient to defeat you.

To get out of this situation, you need to install this modification. Now you can personally decide what value the multiplicity should return to when exiting sniper mode. By default it is 2.0. To set up the mod, you should read the instructions below.

    INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION

    • Move the gui and scripts folders from the archive to WOT/res_mods/(client version)/ ;
    • Using the program NotePad++ file is being edited WOT\res_mods\(client version)\gui\NoScroll.xml;
    • In line defZoomVal>2.0 change 2.0 to the desired value.

    NOTE

    Brief description of the config:

    True– included, False— off.

    • False - disable entry and exit to the sniper scope using the mouse wheel (will only enter/exit when pressing Shift)
    • True — enable/disable installation of forced sight magnification
    • 2.0 — the magnification of the sniper scope to which it will return when it is turned on again

I bought a Blazer, there is a problem with installing optics at 223 cal-r. They have to stretch a little far from the eye, they can cut off the butt (it’s a pity on the barrel for 200 thousand rubles) I can’t solve the problem, maybe someone can tell me what

    smnv 29-03-2012 11:54

It all depends on what kind of sight and what kind of bracket. In such cases, I recommend the MAC bracket with a long base. It allows you to move the sight back more than on the original bracket.
Yes, and you have to look at the sight itself. I have the same thing on Blazer, some sights, because of their design features, they didn’t become normal at all.
In general, to give more specific advice, it would be advisable to take a photo of your Blaser with the sight installed.

Many people lack the ability to reach back on the native crown. Even with a height of more than 180 cm, and if the height is 165-172, then in my practice - for everyone. There is not enough reach on the Zeiss on the tire and even on the Knights, not to mention the cheaper sights that are shorter.
If you remove the butt plate on the butt, you can see that you can saw, usually 0.7 cm is missing for nit, weld and Zeiss, and 1 cm for Nikon, etc.
The depth of the inner part of the butt plate is 2 cm, the height of the short part is 9.5 cm, at the bottom 10 cm
Butt thickness at the top - 0.7 cm and bottom - 1.3 cm
You can calculate how much you can saw off
If you cut it off, the problem will disappear.

in relation to the 223 MAC it will work without problems... but if suddenly there is no need for something more evil, there is an experience of just this (Mac with removal) on a match 300wm, after 300 shots the front flag began to release... I'm tired, I guess

It is very easy to adjust and nothing will come loose. I had this too.

Some sights rest against the rear ring with a mechanism for entering corrections, and that’s it, nothing can be done. At one time I was never able to install Nikons properly. Switched to Lupa and Knight.

with takeout? ...however! ..I had a different canoe - the body of the fur-ma adjustments of the knight simply lay on the base of the monoblock - the height of the rings... alas...

Try this. Adjust the tightening of the flags with a nut with reverse side from the checkbox. This is the one that fits the Blazer key for changing barrels. After this, this same nut must be locked. At the bottom of the bracket there are two small screws for a thin hexagon. They need to stop it. Until I did this, my flag was also constantly weakening.

I just put Knight on my native crown. On the Blazerovsky crown there is a slight slope (but not 20 moa) on the MAKovsky one there is none. I checked by moving the scope from crown to crown. The STP on the Blazerovsky crown was noticeably lower, even at 100m. For long-range shooting I think this matters. Not very good for hunting.

In the CS:GO settings there are only two options dedicated to the crosshair: crosshair style and crosshair color. However, sight adjustment is not limited to these two parameters. In this article we will look at how to customize the sight for yourself using commands in the console.

Most of the article is devoted to setting up the sight via console commands, so let us remind you that by default, to open the console, you need to press the ~ key (usually located under the Esc key).

How to change crosshair style and color in CS:GO

For those who are not in the know, let's first look at how to change the style and color of the sight. The first, well-known way, is to select the desired option in the settings:

Press the ESC key=>Help and settings=>Game options=>Interface settings

Here in the fields Sight style And Sight color select the values we need.

The second method is console commands. To customize the crosshair style in CS:GO, use the command cl_crosshairstyle

    • cl_crosshairstyle 0 - default (dynamic)
    • cl_crosshairstyle 1 - default (static)
    • cl_crosshairstyle 2 - classic
    • cl_crosshairstyle 3 - classic (dynamic)
    • cl_crosshairstyle 4 - classic (static)

To adjust the crosshair color in CS:GO, use the command cl_crosshaircolor

    • cl_crosshaircolor 0 - red
    • cl_crosshaircolor 1 - green
    • cl_crosshaircolor 2 - yellow
    • cl_crosshaircolor 3 - blue
    • cl_crosshaircolor 4 - blue
    • cl_crosshaircolor 5 - your color

Sight with a dot in CS:GO

To add a dot in the middle of the sight, you need to use the command cl_crosshairdot:

    • cl_crosshairdot 0 - no dot
    • cl_crosshairdot 1 - there is a dot

Here are two screenshots as an example, the CS:GO sight without a dot and with it.

    Crosshair outline in CS:GO

To enable or disable crosshair stroke in CS:GO, use the command in the console cl_crosshair_drawoutline

    • cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0 - crosshair without outline
    • cl_crosshair_drawoutline 1 - crosshair with outline

Below are two screenshots for those who don’t know what crosshair tracing is in CS:GO. On the left is the sight without outline, on the right - with it.

In order to set the thickness of the stroke (contour) of the sight, there is a command cl_crosshair_outlinethickness: the parameter can take a value from 0 to 3 (than more value, the thicker the outline):

    • cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 0
    • cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 2

    Crosshair transparency in CS:GO

To set the transparency of the sight, use the command cl_crosshairalpha. The parameters of this command can take values from 0 to 255, than less value, the more transparent the sight will be. Here are some examples of using this command:

    • cl_crosshairalpha 0 - the sight is completely transparent (it is not visible at all)
    • cl_crosshairalpha 127 - the sight is translucent (50% transparent)
    • cl_crosshairalpha 255 - the sight is completely opaque

Below are two screenshots, on the first the sight is semi-transparent (cl_crosshairalpha 127), on the second it is completely opaque (cl_crosshairalpha 255).

There is also a command cl_crosshairusealpha, which enables/disables the sight transparency mode. If the transparency mode is disabled, then set the transparency of the sight using the command cl_crosshairalpha it won't work.

    • cl_crosshairusealpha 0 - transparency mode disabled
    • cl_crosshairusealpha 1 - transparency mode enabled

Those. before use cl_crosshairalpha you need to make sure that the value cl_crosshairusealpha equals 1 (this is the default).

    Crosshair size in CS:GO

The desired sight size can be set using the console command cl_crosshairsize. The higher the parameter value, the larger size sight. Examples of using the command:

The screenshots below show scope sizes 0, 5 and 10 respectively.

    Distance between sight lines

Team cl_crosshairgap allows you to reduce or increase the distance between the sight lines. Essentially, this console command changes the size of the CS:GO crosshair to some extent. The parameters can take both positive and negative values:

    Screenshots with the above examples:

    Sight Line Thickness

You can adjust the thickness of the sight lines using the console command cl_crosshairthickness: The higher the parameter value, the thicker the sight lines. Examples:

    Screenshots of these two examples:

    Showing and hiding the crosshair

Simple command crosshair displays/hides the crosshair. If you suddenly lost your crosshair in CS:GO, check this command.

    • crosshair 0 - crosshair is not displayed
    • crosshair 1 - crosshair is displayed

    Other console commands

Finally, we will list all the other commands that we will not consider for the reason that they are used very rarely. Here is a list of other commands that affect the behavior of the crosshair in CS:GO:

    • cl_crosshair_dynamic_maxdist_splitratio
    • cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_innermod
    • cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_outermod
    • cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitdist
    • cl_crosshairgap_useweaponvalue
    • cl_crosshairscale

We hope this article was helpful and the console commands listed here will help you customize the CS:GO crosshair to suit your needs.
