Head to the training ground. The only way to accurately aim at optical sight– shoot from different positions. The easiest way is to do this at a shooting range, usually where you are confident in the distances and the presence of a bullet trap. As always, practice gun safety on shooting day, wear eye and ear protection, and bring plenty of ammunition.

Use special targets for shooting in the form of a target. They usually have many divisions, which will allow you to make more precise adjustments to the weapon. The more sure you are of how “missing” the shot was, the more accurately you can lead to a normal fight.
Follow the special instructions and rules of the range where you shoot.

Secure the weapon in a special shooting machine. When you zero a gun, you want to eliminate human error from the equation as much as possible. In other words, you can't miss the target. To get the most accurate match, you should mount the gun specifically for this purpose in a shooting machine, which is available at most sporting goods stores or can be rented from your local gun club. More and more reasons to go to the range.

If you don't have a solid shooting stand, get into as stable a shooting position as possible. Even if you take a couple of even books, or shoes or a jacket, you can put the weapon on them and shoot more accurately. Just make sure that whatever you put on it is away from the frame of the bolt.

Load the weapon and fire three to five shots using the scope. Wait for the signal “For battle!” and look through your scope while aiming it at the target. Place your cheek against the magazine and maintain the same sight picture as you normally would. Remove the safety lock. Once you've finished exhaling, hold for a split second, then squeeze the trigger firmly without shaking for the most accurate shot. For the most accurate first pass, repeat 3-5 times.

Assess the accuracy of your shot. Wait for the all clear signal, engage the safety and unload the weapon, double checking to be sure. Shoot your target or view it up close to get an accurate picture of your shots. The adjustments are up to you.

Make adjustments using the knob and check again. Return to the rifle and make adjustments using the adjustment knobs on the top and side of the scope. Each scope has a slightly different adjustment mechanism, but the principles are mostly the same. Read the next section for detailed setup instructions.

When the adjustment is complete, repeat the process. Shoot five more circles, check accuracy, and adjust again. This is the process.
It's a good idea to mark the holes in the target that you've already made so you don't get confused later, or use a new target. Especially for this purpose, there are targets with four or five different targets.

Zero the scope from different distances. In general, most shooters prefer to zero their weapon from a variety of positions, paying more attention to the distances you are likely to shoot from. The same basic procedure and adjustment can be done in each position, but you need to judge from at least two and probably more, even three or four distances.

You may be equipped with the best weapons that PUBG has to offer, but you won't be able to kill your opponent without being able to aim at the target and take them down with relative ease. Part of the problem with PUBG is that the pace of the game isn't always conducive to improving your aim, especially since there aren't any deathmatch servers specifically designed to practice your shot with a wide variety of weapons.

A huge number of guns, attachments, firing modes and recoil patterns can be improved. The lack of respawns also means that you will have very limited opportunity Practice shooting opponents in different scenarios before finishing the game. 100 m – Chevron type.

How to shoot moving targets

Landing shots on moving targets is one of the most difficult aspects to master in PUBG.

Again, WackyJacky101's video is a must watch for anyone looking to improve their aim when shooting targets that are running in the open.

The first thing you'll want to consider is distance, but how do you calculate how far your target is when you're under pressure? You can't reach the ruler, so it's up to your own intuition to get it right - the more you play, the more your decision will improve.

Here are some tips:

When you are in front of the target, which is about 100 meters away, imagine that there is one person standing in front of you and shoot at that position.
For opponents 200 meters away from you, your target is two imaginary people.
It's okay if you miss the first shot, just watch the bullet and adjust your shot slightly!
Various guns have different speeds bullets, so that's another variable you'll want to consider.

How to better navigate

General Tips

It is very important that you set your mouse settings right away. Consider your DPI rating, mouse acceleration, and general settings sensitivity in the game to find the balance that's perfect for you. It goes without saying, but practice really does make you perfect. Keep playing and over time you will gain invaluable experience!
Instead of avoiding fights or playing them safe, be aggressive and pursue fights as you try to work on your goal. Even if you end up losing the vast majority of duels, this is one the best ways improve your shooting speed and you'll gradually become more comfortable with the many weapons on offer.
Give it a go and try out some quick tours where you actively watch the gunfights. Plot in populated areas, such as Pochinka, School, Los Leones, Hacienda Del Patron or any other large city or city for some intense action right from the start.

Aiming Tips

Pressing while you're aiming will temporarily stop your weapon from swinging from side to side. At close range, we recommend hip shooting or equipping scopes such as Red-Dot or Holographic for greater accuracy.
This one is pretty obvious, but you'll want to use 4X, 8X, and 15X Scopes when facing enemies from a distance. Don't be afraid to keep them in your inventory and trade them among each other as the situation dictates!
The best players know how to peek properly, and this is something you need to master to have the best chance of getting kills. Pressing [Q] and [E] while aiming will cause you to lean left and right respectively, which is fantastic for peeking around corners or under covers. Be unpredictable and reinvent yourself into corners by picking out some quick shots to put your enemies in a difficult position.
You will automatically discourage shooting from sniper rifle, which means you'll have a hard time seeing if your bullet hits anywhere near your target.

It all depends on what kind of sight and what kind of bracket. In such cases, I recommend the MAC bracket with a long base. It allows you to move the sight back more than on the original bracket.

I just put Knight on my native crown. On the Blazerovsky crown there is a slight slope (but not 20 moa) on the MAKovsky one there is none. I checked by moving the scope from crown to crown. The STP on the Blazerovsky crown was noticeably lower, even at 100m. For long-range shooting I think this matters. Not very good for hunting.

Most of the article is devoted to setting up the sight via console commands, so let us remind you that by default, to open the console, you need to press the ~ key (usually located under the Esc key).

How to change crosshair style and color in CS:GO

For those who are not in the know, let's first look at how to change the style and color of the sight. The first, well-known way, is to select the desired option in the settings:

In order to set the thickness of the stroke (contour) of the sight, there is a command cl_crosshair_outlinethickness: the parameter can take a value from 0 to 3 (than more value, the thicker the outline):

Crosshair transparency in CS:GO

To set the transparency of the sight, use the command cl_crosshairalpha. The parameters of this command can take values from 0 to 255, than less value, the more transparent the sight will be. Here are some examples of using this command:

cl_crosshairalpha 0 - the sight is completely transparent (it is not visible at all)
cl_crosshairalpha 127 - the sight is translucent (50% transparent)
cl_crosshairalpha 255 - the sight is completely opaque

Below are two screenshots, on the first the sight is semi-transparent (cl_crosshairalpha 127), on the second it is completely opaque (cl_crosshairalpha 255).

There is also a command cl_crosshairusealpha, which enables/disables the sight transparency mode. If the transparency mode is disabled, then set the transparency of the sight using the command cl_crosshairalpha it won't work.

cl_crosshairusealpha 0 - transparency mode disabled

Those. before use cl_crosshairalpha you need to make sure that the value cl_crosshairusealpha equals 1 (this is the default).

Crosshair size in CS:GO

The desired sight size can be set using the console command cl_crosshairsize. The higher the parameter value, the larger size sight. Examples of using the command:

Distance between sight lines

Team cl_crosshairgap allows you to reduce or increase the distance between the sight lines. Essentially, this console command changes the size of the CS:GO crosshair to some extent. The parameters can take both positive and negative values:
