Electric water heating boiler Zota Economy is designed for heating residential and production premises, as well as heating water for technical purposes.

The Zota Econom electric boiler must be connected to an autonomous heating system and filled with coolant. It can work automatically in rooms with temperature environment not lower than +1C and not higher than +30C and humidity not more than 80%.

An autonomous heating system must contain:

Electric boiler;

Diaphragm expansion tank closed type(expanzomat);

Circulation pump;

Safety valve for pressure up to 6 kg/cm2;

Automatic air vent;

Drain and drain valve.

Zota Economy water heaters (electric boilers) are connected to the power supply using the PU EVT-I1 control panel, which is not included in the delivery package and must be purchased separately. Connecting the water heater to the control panel is described in detail in the control panel data sheet.

The power of the water heater can be increased to maximum in three stages successively. The power of each stage is determined by the heating elements installed in the water heater.

The Zota 6 Econom electric boiler is designed to operate in the following conditions:

Operating ambient temperature from +1C to +30C;

Relative humidity up to 80% at a temperature of plus 30C;

The environment is non-explosive, does not contain aggressive gases and vapors that destroy metals and insulation, and is not saturated with conductive dust and water vapor;

Transportation and storage temperature from -5C to +45C with relative humidity no more than 75%;

Working position in space - vertical;

Altitude above sea level no more than 2000 m.

The shell has a degree of protection IP20, climatic modification UHL4;

In heating systems, water purified from mechanical and chemical impurities should be used as a coolant, with a total hardness of no more than 2 mg.eq/dm3. Water should have a pH of 6.5 - 8.5.

In addition to water, a non-freezing coolant diluted with water in a concentration of no more than 1:1 can be used.

When using these coolants, it is necessary to comply with the requirements for their use in heating systems. The use of liquids not intended for heating systems is prohibited as a coolant.

Electric boiler (water heater) Zota Econom (Fig. 1) consists of: housing (1), protective casing (6). The body of the electric boiler is of welded construction with upper and lower flanges, a water inlet pipe (4), a water outlet pipe (5) and brackets for mounting to the wall (7).

A block of heating elements (2) is installed in the upper flange, which consists of three heating elements combined into one block and having a G 2” threaded flange. The block of heating elements is wrapped into the upper flange of the device through a rubber gasket.

The upper flange of the unit provides space for installing a temperature sensor (9). The temperature sensor is included in the kit of the PU EVT-I1 control panel. The body has an M6 bolt with a nut and two washers for connecting the ground (3).

The protective casing (6) is made of steel sheet and serves to protect operating personnel from burns and electric shock.

The casing is attached to the body with four screws. To mount the water heater on the wall, use a bracket (8), included in the product kit, which must be securely fastened to the wall using screws (12) and plastic dowels (13).

The operation of the unit is based on the principle of heat transfer from the surface of heating elements to the coolant as it passes through the boiler.

The boiler operation is controlled from the PU EVT-I1 control panel, which performs the functions of automatically maintaining the outlet water temperature, indoor air temperature, overload and short circuit protection, as well as operating mode signaling.

It is advisable to install electric boilers according to a project carried out by a specialized organization.

When installing the Zota 9 Econom electric boiler, it is necessary to maintain minimum distances to walls, floors and ceilings of at least 0.5 m. The distance must be maintained for ease of operation and service.

It is prohibited to place the device in niches that block the fastening elements of the boiler casing and prevent natural ventilation of the product.

It is recommended to install the Zota Economy electric boiler in the following sequence:

Attach the mounting bracket to a vertical surface in the required location (the method of attaching the bracket to the wall is determined during site installation, taking into account the wall material).

Install the electric boiler on the bracket;

Connect the boiler to the heating or hot water supply system;

Open the casing by first unscrewing the four screws securing the casing;

Install the water temperature sensor included in the control panel kit in a special place in the upper part of the electric boiler and connect it to the control panel PU EVT I1;

Connect the electric boiler to the control panel according to the connection diagram Fig. 2 for three-phase connection. Connect phase wires to the terminals of the heating element block according to Fig. 3. Connect the neutral wire N to the jumper of the heating element block.

Connect the protective neutral wire (PE) to the “GROUNDING” bolt. To connect, use the connection kit.

When powering an electric boiler from a single-phase AC network of 220 V, 50 Hz, the water heater must be connected to the control panel according to a three-phase connection diagram.

Then connect the working neutral wire of the input cable to the neutral terminal of the control panel, and the phase wire to the terminals A, B, C introductory automatic control panel. The protective neutral conductor (PE) must be connected to the “GROUNDING” terminal;

Close the casing and tighten the fastening screws.
