Peel the onion, chop it into small pieces and sauté until transparent in a well-heated frying pan in vegetable oil. Now we put the minced meat here and season everything with spices. Fry until done, stirring constantly.

    When the potatoes are cooked, remove the bay leaf and use a potato masher to puree everything. Next, take a baking dish, coat it with butter and place it in a thick layer on the bottom. Then cover everything evenly with minced meat and onions, coat with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes. Then carefully remove, divide into portions and serve.

    Potato babka with minced meat

    Ingredients:

    • minced meat – 400 g;
    • potatoes – 10 pcs.;
    • carrots – 2 pcs.;
    • onion – 2 pcs.;
    • chicken egg– 2 pcs.;
    • vegetable oil – 50 ml;
    • seasoning - to taste.

    Preparation

    How to cook tasty and hearty dish using potatoes and minced meat? It's very simple! Wash the peeled potatoes cold water, dry with a towel and grate on a special vegetable grater. We clean the carrots, chop them on a coarse grater, and remove the peels from the onions and chop them into small cubes. Then fry half the onion in vegetable oil and mix with potatoes. Break the eggs here, throw in the carrots, salt and pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

    We also season the minced meat with spices, add the remaining raw onion and mix. We bake our dish in a baking sheet, laying it out in layers: first potato, then meat and again vegetable. Place the dish in the oven and wait for about 30 minutes, setting the temperature to 190 degrees. Serve the finished babka hot, cut into portions, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs and sour cream.

    • beef pulp – 300 g;
    • onion – 1 pc.;
    • pork pulp – 600 g;
    • garlic – 3 cloves;
    • potatoes – 200 g;
    • spices.

    • vegetable oil – 40 ml;
    • breadcrumbs - 3 tbsp. spoons;
    • wheat flour – 1 tbsp. spoon;
    • fresh parsley - 1 bunch.

    Preparation

    To prepare minced meat, we take pork and beef, peeled potatoes, onions, garlic and spices. Grind the potatoes on the finest rack and squeeze out the juice. We wash the meat, dry it, remove films and grind it through a meat grinder. Finely chop the onion sharp knife and combine with meat, potatoes and squeezed garlic. Mix the finished minced meat thoroughly and lightly beat it, covering the top cling film. Then we take a little meat mass, form round cutlets, roll them thoroughly in the mixture and flour.

    Now put a deep thick-walled pan on the fire, pour oil into it and heat it to a boil. We carefully lay out our cutlets and fry them on both sides until cooked and golden brown.
