How to make a rose from velvet paper. Paper roses: several simple options

The Queen of Flowers has always attracted attention and was a welcome gift and decoration. Poems and legends are written about it, and gorgeous bouquets are made from it.

Many needlewomen are interested in how to make paper roses with their own hands. Creating this flower will require more time and skill than making simple plants.

Let's consider several options for making an amazing flower.

Chic bouquet as a gift

On the cardboard we draw a spiral-shaped corolla with a pencil. Then we take scissors and cut out the template. The result should be a spring. The pattern is used to obtain blanks from colored material.

You should prepare the wire for the peduncle in advance. A little glue is applied to the edge of the future stem. The required number of buds is made, and then the bouquet is decorated.

exquisite flower

Fold the square of the selected shade in half diagonally. Then a petal is cut out from the resulting triangle. Having unfolded it, the master will see that the result is a corolla with 8 petals.

You should make 4 blanks. Each detail must be finalized by cutting off 1, 2, 3 and 4 petals, respectively. The corollas are glued so that the outer elements are fastened together.

The result will be parts with 2, 4, 5 and 6 petals. Using a pencil, the edge of each of them is slightly bent. Then the bud is collected. Leaves are cut out of green material and glued to the bud.

Corrugated paper rose

An original decoration will decorate the interior of any home. Interesting photos of paper roses will allow you to find your own option for creating beautiful compositions.

For the corrugated version, you will need green and red material, tape for the stem, wire, and scissors.

Five elements in the form of drops and 15 parts in the shape of a heart are cut out. The blanks are carefully stretched along the edges. The bud is formed by gluing the petals one by one.

The elements are fixed using adhesive tape. The product is complemented with green leaves that are attached to the stem of the plant.

Now a novice craftsman will understand how to make a rose from corrugated paper. Based on this product, other options can be obtained. To do this, simply slightly modify the pattern of the petals.

Beautiful flower made of colored paper

The sheet is cut into strips of 1 cm. The width determines the size of the future souvenir. The edge should be bent diagonally, twisting the rose.

The bud is held together with glue during the manufacturing process. Several plants of the same or different colors allow you to create unique bouquets to decorate your home.

Rose made of money

For a souvenir you will need printed banknotes. To get a neat product, you need to follow the step-by-step instructions for making a paper rose. The sheet of material is folded in the center and tied with wire, having previously turned in the corners.

You need to make 4 parts, which can then be easily connected into a bud. The wire is twisted, resulting in the formation of a plant stem.

Big rose

The following materials will be used in the work: corrugated paper, wire, tape, glue.

Draw the pattern templates yourself by observing real plants. You can print ready-made patterns, cut them out and transfer them to cardboard.

A life-size paper rose looks unusual at any celebration. If you create several copies, you will get a huge bouquet.

For one product you will need 15 heart-shaped elements and 5 drop-shaped elements. The resulting petals must be given the desired shape. The hearts are stretched a little, and the droplets are rolled onto a pencil.

Two pieces of thick wire are wrapped with special adhesive tape. Then a bud is formed. A sepal is placed at the base. The leaves are alternately attached to the stem using tape.

Royal Rose

For a beautiful accessory you will need napkins of different colors, ribbon, and a regular pencil. This simple method will allow you to create an original gift.

The napkin is wound around the pencil. It needs to be compressed. After this, the pencil is pulled out. The result should be six finished parts, which are held together with tape. Then a corolla of 6 petals is formed.

Crepe paper flowers

This material is very similar to corrugated paper, but it is softer. The result is more delicate artificial plants.

The basis for making souvenirs from this material is twisting. This option is ideal for beginners.

You need to take a 5 cm wide tape and scissors. To fasten the bud you will need glue. The tape is folded and the corners are cut off from one edge to form a petal.

Then the process of winding onto a pencil begins, resulting in the formation of a corolla. Several blanks can be used for beautiful crafts or gift decoration.

Conclusion

Simple flower making techniques help beginners master the technique of making paper flowers. This is an amazing hobby that adults and children will enjoy.

Using different patterns, large and small flowers, paper rosebuds, and life-size products are produced. They will make a great gift for a birthday or other holiday.

Any event can be decorated with original crafts and bright flower arrangements.

DIY photo of paper roses

A colorful bouquet of flowers in an elegant vase not only enlivens the decor of the room, but also becomes the central interior accent - the first thing that attracts everyone's attention from a distance. Knowing how to make a rose out of paper, you can easily decorate your living room with an everlasting bouquet, without burdening yourself with an expensive trip to the flower shop, and you will also get answers to a lot of other questions: how to complement an evening dress or an original hairstyle, how to keep your children occupied, and what to give to your loved ones in the coming years. holidays.

Do you want to make a chic bouquet of paper roses?

Today we will look at several ways to make a paper rose with your own hands. Most of the manufacturing options presented are quite simple at first glance (this is exactly the feeling you will get while watching the master classes), but we assure you that this is not so.

Most likely, you won’t be able to make a paper rose the first time, so be patient and have supplies.
Well, in a good mood, because doing origami while on edge is a bad idea.

Origami florist materials

Of course, it’s better not to start work without a good mood and creative passion. You may also need: sheets of white paper and paint; transparent cellophane to wrap voluminous roses and “disguise” their artificial origin; various ribbons and other decorative elements for a “tasty” bouquet design; double-sided colored paper (close to the natural color of the rose from the greenhouse).

Origami roses made from a simple paper napkin look realistic, take more of them. Foil and thread, a little glue and glitter will come in handy. When folding paper roses with your own hands, involve in the process everything that fits into the original creative idea. However, you can make a rose from a piece of school notebook and already surprise others with this. This simple craft doesn't require much.

Lesson 1: how to fold a small rose out of paper

Figure 1. Simple DIY paper rose

It turns out to be a kind of “weaving” of a flower. To work you will need colored paper, wooden kebab skewers and scissors. You may also need PVA glue and a glue gun with quick-drying glue if you decide to make a stem with leaves.

This is a simple scheme, thanks to which you can fold a voluminous rose in about five minutes, and it will only take you 15-30 minutes to create a whole bouquet of spectacular flowers using the origami technique, which you can even put in a vase.

Proceed step by step:

  • Cut uniform long strips (the length of a sheet) about 1 cm wide from plain paper with your improvised tools (a stationery knife, scissors);
  • Take one strip and make the initial folds inward on it, according to Fig. 1. You don’t need to carefully observe the angles of the bends, you can fold it by eye - each origami rose will be unique;
  • Begin to carefully roll the workpiece along the axis, without running into the free parts of the strip. Reaching an untouched area, bend the strip in the opposite direction from the previous bend and wrap the flower further;
  • Continue the “movement” until the end of the strip. Glue the final “tail” to the base of the resulting flower;
  • Place the “cap” of the rose on the stem. The latter can be made from green paper (rolling the sheet into a thin tube) or using a wooden skewer (twig, wire - whatever is at hand).

Do you see how you can create beauty without any special tricks - easily and quickly? It remains to repeat the steps with the remaining paper strips in order to quickly fold a whole bouquet of paper roses with your own hands. Similar flowers can be folded.

Watch the video carefully and several times in a row to understand exactly how this is all done.

Lesson 2: folding a figured rose according to a template

Surely you have never seen anywhere how to make a paper rose using a figured graphic template. It’s amazing how easy it is to create a beautiful garden queen. 2. It will work especially well from a double-sided piece of paper, but you can also use starched textiles, for example.

Figure 2. How to make a paper rose with your own hands

  • In Fig. Figure 2 shows exemplary diagrams for preparing a graphic template for a standard sheet of paper. Draw a similar figured pattern yourself, where the wavy petals go in a serpentine towards the center;
  • Cut the workpiece along the traced contours and carefully cut a serpentine line with scissors to the very center point;
  • Make such templates according to the desired number of flowers in the future bouquet - 3-15 pcs. (can be of different sizes);
  • Using the “peduncle” as an axial “spindle”, carefully wrap the edge of the curly strip onto it, as shown in Fig. Wrap the entire flower like this, taking your time and focusing on the base of the origami rose;
  • Glue the “bundle” at the base, simultaneously fixing it on the peduncle, straighten the petals - you have made luxurious flowers with your own hands.

When making such a rose from colored paper, take its most realistic shades - purple, delicate pink, natural beige or deep scarlet. And if this rose is made from a napkin, the result will be great - it will be almost impossible to distinguish it from a real one from afar.

The video shows an example of making a flower using a similar technique, but it is glued together from individual petals.

Lesson 3: Roses from paper spirals

Perhaps one of the most unusual ways to get a small rose out of paper.

No weaving or assembling flowers from blanks, everything is as simple, fast and cheap as possible.
Using this method, you can produce up to 200-300 flowers in one day, which are perfect for decoration.

The paper used is the most common one.
You need PVA glue or a special one for needlework; quick-drying glue from a glue gun will not work.

Lesson 4: complex “living” rose using origami technique

We are improving our skills, and our new goal is a large rose using the origami technique, which is as similar as possible to the real queen of greenhouses. By mastering this pattern, you are not folding a simple flower from a piece of paper, but a true work of art. The final result will directly depend on patience and accuracy. So:

  • Take a square sheet of paper and fold it diagonally, then in half from bottom to top and from right to left;
  • Fold the corners of the “lined” square diagonally located in front of you to the bottom corner, forming a hem of the planes inside the workpiece (exactly as in Fig. 3);
  • Next, fold the intricate “pocket”, strictly adhering to the diagram, and then unfold the workpiece, focusing on the control points (carefully see Fig. 3);
  • Grasp the resulting “layered” workpiece confidently with one hand to securely fix the package and prevent it from falling apart when wrapping the petals. With your second hand, start tucking the “petals” from the inside, slightly creasing the structure and using the technique of opening the corners;
  • Bring the edges of the corners together as shown in Fig. 3 and press the fixing “ribs” of the flower, following the diagram. Using the tip of a ballpoint pen (pin or paper clip), “curl” the upward-protruding petals inside. Similarly, give the outer petals of the flower a twisted shape.
  • Using glue, plant the rose on a previously prepared pedicel, decorated with stem petals made of green construction paper.

This is not the easiest origami rose, but it is very interesting to make. Especially for inquisitive natures, focused on results. The elegance of the finished flower will definitely reward you with a sense of pride in your skills in the origami technique and contemplation of the almost real splendor of the owner of the rose garden.

Lesson 5: creating masterpieces. Rose Kawasaki

If you understand how to fold the unique giant Kawasaki rose, you will be able to master the most virtuosic crafts. The hardest thing to learn here is how to make a rosebud from a simple square piece of paper. Therefore, it would not be superfluous to first watch a training video, which shows much more clearly how this is done.

  • Make a multi-level folding of the future rose from a square-shaped paper blank, based on the video and figure. 4;

  • Bend back the small corners and, lifting the sheet, form a dome with a “cut” upper corner, bring the workpiece into the plane of the required shape (see Fig. 4);
  • Now form the core by carefully bending the peculiar upper flaps towards you (opening) and bending the lower edge of the workpiece back (raising the bundle);
  • Secure the core with tape or hold it tightly with your fingers so that the workpiece does not fall apart, then turn the product “face down”;
  • Along the folds, turn the corners (petals) inward along the axis, wrapping your hand around the entire bowl of the flower. Then you will need to open each corner fold, tucking it inward;
  • The outer petals, sloppily sticking out in different directions, need to be folded towards each other and tucked into the body pocket of the adjacent petal;
  • Squeezing the bud in your hand, compact it slightly, and then straighten the flower from the inside by inserting a pencil into the cavity hole at the base - the origami Kawasaki rose is ready.

To make the origami Kawasaki rose unfold before you in absolute splendor, shape its petals based on the photo. Incredibly, an amazingly beautiful rose was made from paper with your own hands, although it is ready to compete in beauty with a living prototype from a flower shop. This craft made from a napkin is especially good, but it will be even more difficult to make - the soft material holds the structure of the bends less well.

The video will tell you how to make this beauty out of paper if the diagram in the photo is not enough for you.

Did you manage to make a Kawasaki rose out of paper? You can be proud of your skills, but continue to make other varieties of origami flowers from paper. and lilies, for example.

Now we will tell you how to make a large and very beautiful rose. This magnificent rose is perfect for romantic and tender photo shoots. This rose can serve as an unusual setting for various events from birthdays to weddings. The most important thing is that making such a rose will not be difficult.

For our master class on creating a large rose from corrugated paper you will need the following materials (material is indicated for one rose):

  • a roll of colored adhesive tape (you can also use tape, or corrugated paper, electrical tape, paper construction tape, the latter will then need to be painted green)
  • double-sided corrugated paper (the color of the paper will determine the color of the bud)
  • green paper for leaves (green);
  • wire
  • pencil or pen
  • glue gun for needlework (one rod);
  • templates prepared in advance from white paper for manufacturing: five small petals in the form of a drop; fifteen large petals in the shape of a heart; three for a leaf per stem; one accordion petal for sepal.

When you have prepared all the materials, move on to the instructions for creating a large rose.

How to make a big paper rose.

1. We take template blanks, colored corrugated paper and cut out petals and leaves (cut so that the paper strips are vertical):

- five small petals in the form of a drop;

- fifteen large petals in the shape of a heart.

Now take the green corrugated paper and cut it out:

- three for a leaf per stem;

- one accordion petal for the sepal.

2. Let's start forming the rose petals.

3. We take each petal in turn with both hands and stretch it from the center to the sides.

4. Let's start with the petals in the form of droplets, take a pencil or pen and twist them slightly, giving a slight curve to each petal for the rose bud.

5. Now we take the heart petals and curl the top of their edges with a pencil, first the right one, then the left one.

6. Your petals should look like the picture.

7. Next, let's prepare the stems. Let's take a wire and a roll of colored adhesive tape (you can also use tape, or corrugated paper, green electrical tape, paper construction tape, the latter will then need to be painted green). We wrap the stem from start to finish, pressing the corrugated paper or tape tightly to the wire with our own hands.

8. You should get a stem like in the picture.

9. Let's move on to creating the bud, namely the inner part of the rose. We take the first droplet-shaped petal and attach the tip to the stem (to the wire) using electrical tape or tape.

10. So, with each petal in the form of a drop, we attach it to the stem in turn.

11. You have done the inside of the rose.

12. Once again, carefully wrap and secure the bottom of the petals with your hands.

13. Now we open the outer petals of the rose. For this we need heart-shaped petals.

14. We wrap each heart petal around the inside of the rose with a slight indentation from each other.

15. Carefully straighten and carefully secure each petal with colored adhesive tape.

16. When all the petals have been attached, we once again wrap the base of the rose bud with tape or electrical tape.

17. Half the battle is done - the bud is ready.

18. The rose should now look like the picture.

19. Now let’s take a petal from the blanks with an accordion for the sepal and wrap it around the base of the bud.

20. We wrap the sepal on top and secure it with tape or adhesive colored tape.

21. Now let’s take from the blanks three leaves on a stem of green corrugated paper, three wires and attach the leaves to each wire in turn. This can be done using a glue gun or regular PVA glue.

22. Fold it in half (the middle is the wire) and iron the gluing area with your own hands.

23. Straighten the sheet, it should look like in the picture.

24. Now apply a little glue to the base of the petal.

25. We wrap the wire (with the same paper that you originally used for the stem), starting from the base of the leaf where the glue was applied.

26. When winding, apply a little glue to the other end of the wire and turn the tip (here you can use double-sided tape).

27. Now we take all three blanks with leaves and distribute them evenly around the stele. We secure it with tape or colored adhesive tape to the stem.

28. Next, starting from the base of the bud and moving evenly to the end of the stem, we wrap it again with corrugated green paper.

29. Iron the paper well with your hands, especially pay attention to the bases where the branches with leaves are attached, in order for the rose to look harmonious, you need to do a thorough but neat wrapping at this point. We secure the ends of the paper, as we did in step No. 26.

30. Congratulations! Your gorgeous big rose is ready!

31. It should be approximately this size in relation to you.

32. It will look wonderful and impressive if you make a bouquet of an odd number of large roses!

If at any stage you have any difficulties, be sure to write in the comments, we will be happy to help you.

Add color and refresh the interior of your home with a beautiful composition made from flowers made from corrugated and plain paper.
In this section we will teach you how to make flowers with your own hands.

How to make a rose out of paper (7 rose options)

Simple DIY rolled paper rose

We suggest you learn a new way of rolling a flower - the twisting method.
This is an easy and very fast way. In less than 10 minutes the flower is ready.

You will need:

  1. sheet of paper
  2. scissors

On a sheet of red paper that is not very thick, but not thin either, you need to draw a spiral outline.

Moving in a spiral, cut the paper.

Start twisting the flower from the outer edge of the spiral. This is convenient to do with a pen or pencil.

In the very center of the spiral, apply glue (you can use the most ordinary PVA) and, pressing tightly, glue the twisted element.

And now your rose is ready without any extra effort!

Rose according to patterns

It can serve as a chic decoration for your interior, can be used on a gift box or as part of a three-dimensional painting. It's not that difficult to make if you follow our instructions.

It will be necessary:

  1. colored paper (red, yellow...)
  2. scissors

To begin with, we should cut out our blanks from colored paper. You should get 10 blanks.

We will begin to fold our rose from the middle. We wind three single petals onto a pencil.

Then we put them together, placing one on top of the other and gluing them together.

We take our following preparations. You need to give the petals volume and twist them. For this we use scissors. We do this carefully so as not to tear the petal. We do this with all the preparations.

Next, glue them together as shown in the photo, placing the edge of one petal on the protruding “tail”. You can also use double-sided tape for gluing.

We do the same with all the remaining blanks.

All we have to do is collect our rose. To do this, grease each next workpiece from the inside with glue and place it on top of each other.

And press all the petals tightly.

And here it is, our most magnificent rose is ready.

Small corrugated paper roses

A bouquet of these miniature roses will fit perfectly into your interior or can become a boutonniere on your festive dress or jacket. A wide variety of corrugated ones, not just roses.

Materials:

  1. corrugated paper 2 colors (red and green)
  2. wire

Cut out 3-4 flowers from bright corrugated paper. In this case, we took 4 flowers (the rose will be more magnificent).

We take a wire about 10 cm long and pierce one flower.

At the end of this wire we form the middle of our flower.

Then we pierce the remaining flowers and glue them together, forming a rose.

At the end, we wrap the wire with a strip of green corrugated paper and glue a leaf.

Vintage rose

Unusual interesting rose. It won't take long. But, nevertheless, it will serve as an excellent decoration.

Required materials:

  1. thick patterned paper
  2. corrugated paper
  3. scissors
  4. double sided tape

From patterned paper, cut out flowers (preferably with six petals). It can be in different shapes, it will be even more interesting.

Between the petals we make a cut to the middle of the flower, as shown in the photo. Then we put the petals one on top of the other and glue them together using double-sided tape.

Then we will move on to the central part of our composition - the rose.
Cut out a strip of corrugated paper approximately 25x5 cm, the longer your strip is, the larger the rose will be.
We fold our tape at the beginning, as in the photo.

Then we roll it tightly and glue the end so that it does not unwind.

Glue the finished rose inside our flowers

Our original rose is ready!

Yellow rose

An unusually beautiful and easy to make rose.

For this we will need:

  1. paper
  2. scissors

Let's start with that. that on a sheet of paper we will draw petals of a rather abstract shape: 5 middle and 3 outer petals.

Cut out the petals. For lush and beautiful roses, you need to cut out eight petals. There will be two types. Three one and five two.

To begin with, take our cut out petals in the shape of hearts. And in the middle we make an incision as shown in the photo.

Then we place the resulting parts one on top of the other and glue them together. We do this with all five petals.

We twist the remaining three petals of a different shape into a tube together one at a time, gluing the ends.

Then we glue our middle to the heart-shaped petals as seen in the photo below
We glue the rest of our petals (under the bottom), forming a rose.

The rose appears to be on a flat base. Beautiful and durable.

Vases for interior decoration with flowers

Flower baskets have been used to decorate compositions since ancient times. They can be tabletop, standing on legs or hanging. They are made from birch bark, willow branches, decorative wire and polyvinyl chloride. Flower baskets have backs, arms, and table baskets have handles. Decorative flower baskets can be made in the form of a cornucopia, a large vase, a fan, a horseshoe or a lyre.
Previously, flower tables, or so-called jardanieres, were widely used to decorate residential and public spaces. They were usually made from wood, flexible branches, wire and metal. A low galvanized box was placed inside in which flowers were placed. It was believed that jardanieres were especially convenient for growing exotic flowers in spring and summer.
Since ancient times, masters of arrangement have used products of old folk crafts - various weavings - in their creativity. This method is used to make not only baskets, but also wall decorations, “plates”, which, combined with decorative leaves, flowers and shiny fruits, look original and elegant.
Pots with indoor plants, vessels with cut flowers, and dry winter bouquets are often placed in wicker flowerpots. Beautiful weaving for flowers is made by master flower growers and amateur gardeners in Rudny Altai, Northern Kazakhstan and the Almaty region, in particular in Issyk, Chemolgan and many other places.
In the flower shops of our country, you can find original flower weavings by Moscow, Baltic and Transcaucasian masters with floral arrangements, which are complete works of art, striking in the originality of their forms. The material for weaving is usually thin branches of willow, stems of reeds, rush, birch bark, cattails, roots of various shrubs and trees. Willow twigs are harvested in early spring and later, during the period of active sap flow or at the end of autumn. For weaving, as a rule, one- and two-year-old branches of woody plants are taken. Green twigs are stored in a cool, shady place until warm weather arrives.
For the original design of flower baskets, you need appropriate equipment and auxiliary material. These include:
Holders and tattoos. They are widely used for flower arranging. Traditional metal tattoos come in different shapes and sizes, most often the base is made of copper, lead or steel. Metal needles from 5 to 7 centimeters or more in length are used for pricking cut single flowers and branches. A homemade tattoo can be made from a mixture of cement and sand (base), and ordinary nails can be used instead of needles.
Wire. It is used for attaching shoots and flowers in bouquets and baskets. It should be soft and white; its average thickness should be in the range of 0.25 - 1.5 millimeters.
Twine and threads. Necessary for making flower garlands and wreaths. For large floral designs, twine 2 to 4 millimeters thick is required. Strong yellowish-green threads are suitable for tying bouquets.
Ribbons (braid). Sometimes they are used to disguise wire when making bouquets and small flower garlands. Their color can be red, white, purple, yellow and green.
Knives. Necessary for cutting flowers and leafy shoots. They should always be well sharpened on a fine-grit sanding block and then pointed on the belt. Typically, garden knives are used, which are known as budding or grafting knives.
Scissors. Required for preparing materials (wire, twine, paper) and at the time of designing the composition.
Secateurs. Designed for cutting decorative branches, greenhouse and various garden flowers and plants. They remove small dry branches.
Plasticine. Used for attaching dried flowers and branches in winter bouquets. It is camouflaged with moss and leaves.
Wrapping paper. Needed for packaging cut flowers, bouquets and other floral arrangements. In shops and florist farms, the sale of ready-made bouquets in cellophane and wrapping paper is widespread, and the bouquets are tied with cellophane ribbon or braid.

Making artificial flowers from paper has long been a favorite craft for both children and adults. Roses are undoubtedly one of the most popular flowers, and many achieve great skill in making them, achieving an amazing resemblance to real flowers, which is easy to see in the photo of paper roses.

But sometimes paper roses are specially made stylized: this is suitable for decorating gifts, table settings, and room decoration. Some people, on the contrary, want to achieve greater realism. From this article you will learn how to make roses out of paper with your own hands.

What kind of paper can you make roses from?

The answer is simple - almost from any. The choice of paper will determine the method of making the flower and the final result: for example, roses made from corrugated paper are more realistic, and roses made from colored paper are more decorative.

This article will give several step-by-step instructions for making paper roses, but in fact there are many more ways to create paper roses.

Crepe paper rose

Cut the crepe paper of the color you want into several even rectangles. Now make a toothed tape out of them: place the rectangles one on top of the other with the corners, gluing one to the other with a drop of glue, you should get a toothed tape on both sides.

Now take a small ball of cotton wool or crumpled paper and begin to carefully wrap the resulting jagged tape around it. You should now have a bud. Similarly, you can make as many rosebuds from crepe paper as you need.

Make another scalloped strip, but now the edges should be rounded. Carefully wrap it around your bud. You should get a lush rose.

Rose by spiral method

Draw a spiral flower template using wavy lines on a piece of construction paper and cut out, working from the edge to the center. You should now have a paper wavy spring.

Place a drop of glue on the tip of the wire prepared for the stem and wind your spring, forming a pink bud. Secure the bud with a drop of glue at the bottom. Rose is ready!

Corrugated paper rose

Many people wonder how to make a rose from corrugated paper, since these roses are very beautiful and look like real ones. In fact, making such flowers is quite simple.

Fold several strips of corrugated paper into wide, even strips, and secure them at both ends (for example, with paper clips) so that they do not move relative to each other.

Cut rose petals of different sizes from the folded strips - large, medium and small. You will have three packs of petals of different sizes.

Using light crepe paper and glue, make an oval-shaped cocoon at one end of the wire. When the cocoon is of sufficient size, spread glue on its bottom and begin gluing the petals.

Start with small petals, then move to medium and then to large ones. Lightly crumple the tips of the petals with your fingers, bend them a little and pull them back so that the rose looks like a real one.

Form the wire under the stem using green crepe paper and glue. In this way it is easy to make a growth rose out of paper.

Rose made of colored paper in four tiers

Fold a sheet of paper in four and then into a triangle (this is the method used to fold paper to cut out snowflakes). Cut out a semicircular module - when unfolded, you should end up with a flower with eight petals.

Cut out four of these flowers. Cut off excess petals from each tier (four petals for the flower for the top tier, three petals for the flower for the second tier, two petals for the flower for the third tier, and 1 petal for the flower for the first tier). You should end up with four blanks - with 4, 5, 6 and 7 petals, respectively.

Now glue the flowers into cups - place the two outer petals of each piece on top of each other and glue them with glue.

Fold the cups one into the other and stick them on the base - a circle of cardboard.

Take the wire, form a tiny ball at one end and wrap a ribbon of the same paper around it - this will be the center of the rose. Pass it through the center of the resulting rose, carefully piercing the cardboard base circle. You can string leaves cut from green paper onto the same wire.
