But if your parcel is not tracked even after 15-20 days, then you should write to the seller, because it is possible that among the huge number of orders there was simply a mistake in the number when writing. Do not hesitate to disturb the seller once again, as they say, it is better to be aware of events. Just remember, you need to write your appeal to English. Here is an example text, just paste your track number:

“Hi, my track number _______ is not tracked. Check it.”

If the seller does not provide new data or an explanatory response within 5-6 days, then feel free to open a dispute.

There are several options: contact the post office, writing a statement indicating the tracking number to search and increase the delivery period, or write to the seller that the parcel was not delivered and you need to resend or return the money.

This is why parcel tracking was invented. Tracking occurs using the so-called track number, which you receive from the seller.

  • You have a package over $10.
  • You ordered a paid delivery service such as EMS, DHL and others.

Where can I get the tracking code for my parcel?

The seller can give you a track number in advance, even before sending the parcel to the post office.

What kind of scam is this, you ask? Yeah, sometimes this happens, but rarely, the seller could have mixed up and written you the wrong track, or for some reason did not have time to send the parcel, and wrote you a “wrong” tracking code. Please also note that the parcel can be tracked only after 5-10 days from the date of dispatch. This means that if 10-14 days have not passed, there is nothing to worry about. Also, some Chinese postal delivery services add information about the parcel somewhere after 20 days.

If your parcel is under 10 dollars, then, unfortunately, most likely it will not be tracked at all.

Another option is when it is tracked only in China, but after crossing the border, you cannot wait for the status of the parcels. Even when the parcel reaches you, since it is not tracked, it may lie in the mail. Postal workers have several options, depending on your luck:

  • the seller created an invoice, received a tracking number, but did not deliver the parcel to the courier service for shipment;
  • information about your order may arrive with a slight delay, especially if you look at the data on the Aliexpress site itself.

The track from Aliexpress is not tracked - what to do?

Situation 1. If the order is sent to you without a tracking number, then you just need to wait for it to arrive at your post office and you can receive it. Follow , if it comes to an end, but the parcels are not, you need to open a dispute and get your money back.

Situation 2. If after the seller has given you a tracking number, the parcel is not tracked for more than 10 days, I recommend doing the following:

  • write a message to the seller, ask if everything is okay with the parcel and if he made a mistake. (write in English, translate the text through Google or Yandex translator). If the seller made a mistake in writing your number, he will give you the correct track code;

  • Also, he may write that everything is correct and you need to wait a few more days and you will receive data on your shipment;
  • or maybe just remain silent and not answer anything.

In the last two situations described, wait another 3 - 4 days and if the track does not start to be tracked - .

We are opening a dispute due to the fact that the tracking code of the parcel is not tracked.

If you decide to open a dispute earlier than 10 days have passed from the date of dispatch, the system will not allow you to do this.

So, to open a dispute, you need to click “Open dispute” in your order.

On the new page, click “Open dispute” again. Next, proceed to filling out the form:

  • choose a full refund;
  • We note that the goods have not been received;
  • From the drop-down lists, select that there is a problem with the delivery of the goods, for the reason - there is no tracking information;
  • indicate the refund amount, in this case – the entire amount;
  • and we write in English that a lot of time has passed, but the parcel is not tracked;
  • There is no need to upload videos and photos, so click “Submit”.

After this, We are waiting for the seller's decision, who must respond to the dispute within 5 days.

So what might his answer be:

  • he will remain silent and after 5 days, the dispute will end automatically and the money will be returned to your account;
  • he can accept a dispute - this happens if the seller did not actually send the order, but tried either to deceive you, or forgot to send the order;
  • if the parcel begins to be tracked, he will provide you with information on it and ask you to close the dispute. Check the information, if indeed the track number has begun to be tracked - cancel dispute.

In our case, the seller accepted the dispute, since most likely he did not send any order, but simply wrote the “left” tracking number.
