They are even on festive table can be served as a canapé, on toasted bread, garnished with herbs. Guests will not even guess that preparing such a snack took just a few minutes. Also, you don’t have to put them on bread. Czech pomazanka based on boiled eggs, our long-time family favorite and we almost always take it with us on the road, will be delicious in mugs fresh cucumbers or for example wrapped in pita bread. A paste of avocado and cottage cheese with dill will look perfect on tomato slices or on rye crackers, and a spread of cream cheese with ham and pickled cucumbers will be a wonderful filling for baskets of or for large profiteroles or a savory version of eclairs. That is, there is a lot of room for experimentation.

These three sandwich spreads, for the convenience of those who cook, can be stored in the refrigerator for quite a long time. Only Czech anointing needs to be eaten a little faster than other pastes, because it tends to sour on the 3rd day or on the 2nd if it was not hidden in the refrigerator. Speaking of Czech anointing, lemon is a must! It plays the main taste role. But pay attention to the fact that the zest goes there, not the peel of the lemon. These are different concepts and the zest must be washed very carefully, on a fine grater, so as not to touch the bitter white skin. If it tastes bitter to you, it’s not the zest, it’s the peel that got where it shouldn’t have.

As for the rest of the pastes, everything is quite simple. The velvety consistency of avocado paste will surprise you. It's so nice to eat, it's like cream! And men will like the richness of cream cheese pasta with ham and pickles. In fact, if you really want to, you can replace pickled cucumbers with pickled ones.

And, of course, you can add herbs to each anointing to suit your taste, then it will be even more interesting. Experiment! And I give you basic recipes.
