The story of a simple guy from Arkhangelsk spread throughout the country. 19-year-old Sergei Kutovoy has become an example for millions of healthy people who complain about their lives every day, but do nothing to change it.

Just two years ago, the young man himself belonged to the category of such lazy people. In addition, Sergei was overweight. “I ate everything and looked like a powerless fat piece. Until I was 19, I didn’t have girlfriends, I didn’t even kiss,” Komsomolskaya Pravda quotes Kutovoy.

Sergei tried to lose weight, and he even began to succeed - with a weight of 140 kilograms, he lost 50 kg. But then a tragedy happened in the guy’s life: young man hit by a truck while he was crossing the road pedestrian crossing, returning from school. As a result of the accident, Sergei lost his leg. While in the hospital, the young man recovered again and began to weigh 110 kilograms.

“I just ate and ate, then, in the hospital, there was no time appearance. The main thing is to survive, and, naturally, the amount of food was not controlled given the fact that I was constantly lying down - all 9 months. There is no energy expenditure, and the end result is a fat freak who, in theory, should have drunk himself or smoked,” Sergei says about himself on his social network page.

But the young man did not give up, began to play sports and look for a way out of the situation: “I don’t recommend any diets to anyone, only proper and balanced nutrition! Further important point. I’ve never felt limited or inferior, I’m always confident in myself - that’s probably why there was never any talk of putting “this” on myself - coming to terms with it. After all, first of all, I am a person inside, and not outside - you can be with all the limbs, but a moral monster.”

At the age of 17, as a result of an accident, Sergei Kutovoi lost his legs and... The WAF truck's brakes failed and it hit a guy at 100 kilometers per hour. Fragmented left leg had to be amputated. He spent almost a year in the hospital, after discharge he began to eat stress at everything, moved little, so he quickly gained overweight: 120 kilograms with a height of 186 centimeters. “He looked like an old man: a bald invalid, in a wheelchair, wearing glasses, with 37 scars on his body,” recalls Sergei Kutovoy.

Sergei was able to accept himself without a leg, but he couldn’t look at the sagging folds of fat, so he decided to take himself seriously: first the horizontal bar at home, then full-fledged training in the gym, a diet, and later even sledge hockey. After graduation, Ksyusha was able to move to Sergei in St. Petersburg permanently. After three years of relationship, the guys’ plans are only more serious: to get married and buy their own home, and definitely not with a mortgage, but to save up for an apartment on their own. "I didn't have complete family, childhood was not easy. So now I really want a real one happy family with Ksyusha. It seems to me that it’s right to give new people to society,” shares Sergei Kutovoy.

Write a book and stand on both feet

Among Sergei Kutovoy’s creative plans is a book. “I have a story to tell,” he says confidently.
