Philip Kirkorov hid the murder charges for many years. Kirkorov shared a terrible secret: He was accused of the death of a man. Kirkorov killed a security guard.

Exactly a week ago, the presenter of the program, Lera Kudryavtseva, managed to ask the king Russian stage only five questions. The singer showed a mobile home for the first time, talked about the search for a place for a mansion and his relationship with the surrogate mother of his children.

The second part of the program was not without questions about the relationship between Philip Kirkorov and Alla Pugacheva. The singer, who was pretty tired of this topic, did not hide his annoyance at first: “What can I say, it’s been a fantastic ten years. We traveled a lot, experienced joyful and completely crazy days.” Now, according to the artist, they are family friends. “I have two children, she has two. She's a fantastic mom. At this stage, we have a lot in common, so we communicate as families,” Philip emphasized. The singer does not hide that while still married to the Prima Donna, he dreamed of children, because he believed that they could strengthen and save their union. “What if then, 20 years ago, surrogacy was available. Would you use it? - asked Lera Kudryavtseva. Philip answered this question simply: “We didn’t think about it then. Everything has its time."

Philip Kirkorov especially focused on the fact that Maxim Galkin did not take his wife away from him: “Maxim became close to Alla when we already realized that our relationship had come to an end. At the same time, I met Nastya Stotskaya. If for Alla Maxim became a husband, then for me Nastya became a creative project into which I invested all of myself. It helped me not to go crazy." After these words, Anastasia Stotskaya herself entered the studio of the program, who supported the topic of the amazing similarity of her child with the son of Philip Kirkorov and talked about the artist’s courtship. “My whole family fell in love with him,” the singer noted.

The main intrigue of the program was, of course, an envelope with a question worth a million rubles. Before handing the envelope to Philip Kirkorov, Lera Kudryavtseva noted: “It took us six months to collect all the evidence. Day after day we carried out our own investigation. You have kept this secret for 13 years.” “Where is this from?” - Philip asked with tension in his voice and added that his secret was worth much more than a million rubles and even his closest people did not know about it.

Finally, the singer decided to reveal the secret: “I became an unwilling participant in a situation that claimed a person’s life.” The presenter of the program said that she has a resolution in her hands Supreme Court New Jersey July 16, 2010: “This is a criminal case of murder of a person. The accused is Philip Kirkorov.” The singer interrupted the presenter and spoke about the incident that claimed the life of a man. "It happened on my big solo concert at the Taj Mahal. By the way, it was after this incident that such a large team goes on tour with me. But then everything was different. 2004, I give a concert in a huge hall for 6-10 thousand people. Two people were assigned to me to keep order in the hall. There was a rather elderly guard on the front line. I pushed him away when I went down to the hall. The spotlights blinded me, I couldn’t see anything. The guard fell, and I didn’t even immediately understand what happened. Then his relatives sued me,” said Philip Kirkorov with a trembling voice. Lera Kudryavtseva clarified that the resolution said “he fell down the stairs, hit his head on the concrete floor and lost consciousness.” Some time after this, the man died of a stroke. The investigation into this criminal case lasted for six years. The fate of Philip Kirkorov in 2010 was decided by the jury, who voted 51 “for” in a ratio with 49 “against” the singer’s innocence.

In the talk show “Secret for a Million” on the NTV channel, a popular Russian singer Philip Kirkorov admitted to TV presenter Lera Kudryavtseva that 13 years ago in the United States he was involved in a criminal case: he was accused of murder by negligence. The singer at first did not want to answer this final and most difficult question, citing the fact that “his secret is worth more than a million rubles” and supposedly not everyone close to Kirkorov knows this secret. But then the singer admitted that once at a concert at the Taj Mahal casino, he accidentally pushed an elderly security guard named Thomas Rogers while he was going on stage. This happened in 2004 at the Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City.

The host of the program, Lera Kudryavtseva, said that she had in her hands the ruling of the Supreme Court of New Jersey dated July 16, 2010: “This is a criminal case about the murder of a person. The accused is Philip Kirkorov.” She also noted that the resolution said: “... fell down the stairs, hit his head on the concrete floor and lost consciousness.” Some time after this, the man died of a stroke. At the trial, the Russian singer said that due to the bright stage lights, he did not see the security guard on the stairs, as a result of which he collided with him. Rogers' colleagues claimed that the artist first grabbed the security guard and then pushed him.

The investigation into this criminal case lasted for six years. As a result, in 2009, the jury acquitted the singer, although with a margin of only two votes: 51 for and 49 against the singer’s innocence. The court ruled that Kirkorov was partially to blame for the tragic incident with Thomas Rogers, but the security guard himself made a mistake by violating instructions on the rules of working at the concert.

  • In the same year, the famous scandal occurred between Kirkorov and Gazeta Dona journalist Irina Aroyan. At a press conference in Rostov-on-Don, the singer insulted Aroyan, expressing what later became catchphrase: “Your pink blouse, your tits and your microphone annoy me.” The singer was irritated by a journalist’s question about the number of remake songs in his repertoire. Irina Aroyan after unsuccessful attempt to resolve the conflict pre-trial (Philip Kirkorov did not consider himself guilty of anything and refused to apologize) at the end of June 2004 appealed to statement of claim to one of the courts in Rostov-on-Don.
  • A criminal case was opened against the singer under Article 130, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Insult”). On August 11, 2004, the Rostov-on-Don Magistrate Court found Kirkorov guilty under Part 2 of Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (insult in a public place) and imposed a fine of 60,000 rubles to be paid to the state. The plaintiff’s lawyer V. Livshits emphasized that Irina Aroyan deliberately did not make any material claims against the pop singer as compensation for moral damage.

For many years the story was hushed up because trial, initiated by the relatives of the late Thomas Rogers, took place in American state New Jersey. As life.ru learned, which obtained documents from the court, Kirkorov’s show was then held at Donald Trump’s Trump Taj Mahal casino.

ON THE TOPIC

During the concert, Kirkorov, going down into the hall to the audience, pushed away a 70-year-old security guard. The man fell, hit himself hard and lost consciousness. The security guard needed an urgent medical care. The man survived, but then suffered from severe pain for several years. In 2009, during another operation, he died.

In court, Kirkorov justified himself by saying that, while descending from the stage, he did not see the security guard due to the bright light and instinctively pushed away the “obstacle” on his way. However, colleagues of the deceased claim that the singer did this deliberately, grabbing the guard and pushing him with his hands. In addition, when the man fell, Kirkorov not only did not try to help him, but laughed at the guard lying on the floor.

Witnesses also complained that after the incident they were not allowed to get closer to Kirkorov and his entourage. Representatives of the security guard's family were forced to contact the police with a demand to investigate the case.

As a result, the court announced that Kirkorov was partly to blame for the tragic incident with Rogers, and also admitted that the guard suffered, among other things, due to his own actions, which violated the instructions while working at the concert. In fact, the Russian singer was acquitted. On September 10, 2009, the jury ruled that Kirkorov did not attack or beat the security guard.

Rogers' family appealed. The court of second instance drew attention to controversial issues and possible “jury errors”, but due to US law, it left the decision of the first instance court unchanged. However, the relatives of the deceased security guard still blame the singer for the incident.

Singer Philip Kirkorov, who became a guest of the “Secret to a Million” program with Lera Kudryavtseva, decided to reveal a secret that he had kept for many years even from his closest people. The King of Pop agreed to answer the most difficult question of the program, costing one million rubles.

Philip Kirkorov said that several years ago he was under investigation in the United States due to an incident that occurred during his show in a large casino in New Jersey. The singer was tested for involvement in the death of the guard, and he faced life imprisonment.

“In this situation, I found myself an accomplice to the tragedy. This happened not through my fault, but with my participation,” Philip Kirkorov began the story. - In 2004, during a show at the Taj Mahal casino, which is a huge hall for 10 thousand people, two guards were assigned to me - one young, the other about seventy years old. I went into the hall. Descending the stairs, I walked into the darkness. The illuminator did not illuminate the hall, and I went nowhere, by touch. Bright spotlights blinded me... The song was dynamic, and I had so much energy that I could demolish any obstacle at that moment on the go. I go down the stairs and come face to face with an obstacle in the form of a person, I instinctively throw it away and move on. It turned out that the man fell on his back, but I no longer saw what happened to him. After the concert they told me, with a chuckle, that you knocked down a security guard. I asked if he was okay. The organizers assured me that everything was fine.”

In fact, security guard Thomas Roger ended up in the hospital with a bruise to his arm and head. A few years later, the man died of a stroke after open heart surgery. The relatives of the deceased tried to prove that there was a connection between the fall from the stairs and the stroke that led to death. They filed a lawsuit against Philip Kirkorov and the organizers of the show, who could not ensure the safety of security during work.

“I was handed a summons when I came to perform at the Taj Mahal again,” continues Philip Kirkorov. – Investigative experiments and investigations have begun. I flew from Russia to America many times to participate in them. All these years I have been proving my innocence in this disaster that happened on my show. But I still blame myself. I think that if it weren’t for that concert, my uncle would still be alive. I understood that the trouble started with me, but I didn’t do it on purpose.”

In 2010, a jury trial completely acquitted Philip Kirkorov.

The singer also admitted that he wanted to financially help the family of the deceased guard. But his lawyer dissuaded him from this step, citing the fact that this is not accepted in America, and Kirkorov’s action could be misinterpreted.

Recalling this story from his life, Philip Kirkorov noted that his family would learn about it by watching the program “The Secret to a Million.” All these years he did not tell any of his loved ones about what he experienced.
