Fun at the table. Table competitions for adults' birthdays

About how to turn a birthday into a fun, unusual event with the help of games for the whole company. All games are connected in one way or another with wishes to the birthday person and can replace the traditional exchange of toasts. Preparation for the games is minimal, and as a result, everyone will remember this day!

Good luck to you friends!

Each participant is given several pieces of paper. On each of them you need to write (without showing anyone) the name of any character (celebrity, book hero, movie hero, cartoon character, etc.)
All the leaves must be folded several times so that what is written is not visible.

The point of the game is that each participant will draw out a piece of paper with a character, which he will become for one round of the game. The rest will guess))

Previously, we pulled out leaves for everyone and glued them on their foreheads. But this is not very convenient, and not everyone likes it, so the process was simplified a little.

Here's how we play: The first volunteer closes his eyes, pulls out a piece of paper with the character’s name and, without opening his eyes, passes it to his neighbor. The neighbor reads what was written and passes the piece of paper on so that all participants read what was written.

The leaf is laid down, the volunteer opens his eyes.

I repeat that the essence of the game: each player must guess the name of his character (which he naturally does not see).

How to guess? IN classic version In the game, the one whose name we must guess asks questions.

In practice it quickly became boring and we began to play differently.

The person guessing asks: “Who am I?”

And the participants take turns or in random order, talk about the Character (You are...)
The softest thing is to speak at length, beautifully and incomprehensibly, actively using the pattern of uncertainty.

What does Guessable do?

Firstly, he ENJOYS it! Why? Because the stories about the character are so interesting that even when you guess it, you don’t say it right away, you want to listen to everyone))

Secondly, he can ask clarifying questions.

For the New Year 2015, I received 1000% pleasure from this game (we played from the evening until 3-4 in the morning)

Having found out during the discussion that man is also an animal, a tradition was established to begin each round with the phrase: “You are an animal!”
As a rule, this was followed by a clarification: “You are an archetypal animal”))

So figure out who they wished for: Babu Yaga or Cthulhu?))

It was funny to watch the surprise on Seryoga’s face, who was told: “You’re not even an animal!” (The character was Kapitoshka)

And the pleasure I got when I got “Schrodinger’s Cat” is beyond words to describe. Mutually exclusive statements about my character rained down from all sides, and guessing the cat was a real thrill.

In short, love mind games If you like to use your imagination, this game is for you!

It is interesting to spend time in a company where everyone knows each other well. One of the participants becomes the leader, he leaves the room, the rest make a guess for someone present. The returning leader can ask the whole group questions like this: “If this person were a tree (bird, weather, landscape, fruit, etc.), what kind?”

Leading: Now we will give gifts to each other. Starting with the leader, everyone in turn depicts an object using pantomime and passes it to their neighbor on the right (ice cream, hedgehog, weight, flower, etc.) They show this to the person sitting next to them using facial expressions and gestures. As soon as the person sitting has guessed correctly, he can wish for his gift to the next player sitting behind him. You can explain only with the help of facial expressions and gestures. The one to whom it was given can support the action. For example, pantomime to show how he unwraps a gift, twirls it, and so on. And of course, say “Thank you!”

The presenter calmly and clearly pronounces one syllable out loud: “Ha.” Further in a circle next guest pronounces the next two syllables loudly and clearly: “Ha-ha.” The third participant supports the previous two and continues: “Ha ha ha.” And so on!

The host divides the guests at the table into approximately 5 groups. (even 1-2 people in a group).
Leading:
Now we will listen to the Georgian choir! To do this, each group will rhythmically sing (pronounce) their words. The first group begins the choir with their phrase, repeating it continuously without stopping. As soon as the 1st phrase has been heard once or twice, the 2nd part joins the choir (at the command of the leader). Then the 3rd and 4th parties join one after another. The 5th part is spoken with the longest pauses between phrases.

Participants are divided into 2-3 teams. All participants have their hands tied behind them. There are pies at the same distance in front of each team. Each participant must run to the pie, take a bite and run back, pass the baton to the next participant and stand at the back of the team. The team that eats their pie the fastest and completes the pie race will be the winner.

Watch out for the egg

For this competition, guests are considered “first”, “second”. The first participants stand in one row at a certain distance from each other, and the second participants stand opposite the first (about 1-2 meters). The first participant is given an egg, supposedly fresh, but actually boiled. Both the first and second are one single team that must complete the task in a certain time, for example, 2 minutes. The first participant throws the egg to the second, the second to the first, and so on (obliquely). If the team does not complete the task within the allotted time, it starts all over again until the team manages to complete everything within the specified time. It will be interesting to watch the participants who will carefully and diligently toss the egg to each other, thinking that it is fresh.

And there is music in the hall

The presenter needs to prepare in advance melodies played by various instruments (there are plenty of them on the Internet). And in turn, a melody is played for each of the guests, and the guest must guess what kind of instrument it sounds. If you guessed correctly, he gives you a prize, and if not, he fulfills the wish of the birthday boy.

Journey through dreams

To conduct this competition you will need a map or a simple atlas and the dreams of the birthday boy. We select several participants. The birthday boy names, for example, 10 countries, islands, in general, points on the map where he would like to visit. And whichever participant can find all these places faster than the rest will receive a prize.

Coin to coin

Two participants sit opposite each other, with a flat surface in front of them, a chair or table, for example. Each participant has their own handful of coins. In turn, each of the participants puts a coin, as a result, a pyramid of coins is obtained, on which one of the participants the pyramid falls, he loses. And the winner will receive a prize for accuracy and attentiveness.

Everything for the birthday boy

In this competition, each of the guests is given the opportunity to become someone special from the famous and outstanding personalities(can be from the past or a fictional world) and make some kind of discovery for him. For example, a guest stands up and says: I will become Yuri Gagarin for our birthday boy and conquer space for his sake and demonstrate flight into the sky, or I will become a unique alchemist for the birthday boy and invent a long-lasting recipe for happiness in life, and so on. The guest will receive a prize for the most interesting performance.

Nuts for the squirrel

Couples participate, preferably man-woman, boy-girl. Each couple's hands are tied. Nuts are poured into the hall. Each team has its own bag. At the command “start”, all pairs begin collecting nuts for the squirrel. When all the nuts have been collected, the host counts which pair has collected the most nuts and announces the winner.

Gather your team

Each guest pulls out his own forfeit, which contains a specific word. Based on these words, you need to assemble your team, for example, a carriage, rails, a conductor, tea, and so on - the DEPO team; tire, gasoline, clutch, steering wheel - Fleet team and so on. Whose team assembles the fastest will receive a prize.

Double phenomenon

Guests are divided into 2-3 teams, each team is given a piece of paper and a pen. And the task of the teams is to create a list of words with double meaning (one value must be a name) longer than the others. An example would be the following words: Margarita - name and cocktail, Napoleon - cake and commander, Antoshka - name and name of the soap, and so on. The team with the longest list will receive a prize.

Songs for the birthday boy

Each of the guests in turn remembers and names a song in which the name of the birthday person is present and sings a line from this song. If there are no such songs with a name, then the guest comes up with a light couplet or 4 lines with the name of the hero of the occasion and sings them beautifully.

The presenter brings a bag into the hall, and in it are tokens with different letters. Guests sitting at the table take turns taking a “letter” out of the bag and, without hesitation, name any word starting with this letter. The effect of surprise and high tempo answers give a comical result. Moreover, at the end of the competition the presenter says: “Now we know who is thinking about what now!”

Each number is unique

Each of the guests takes turns pulling out their own forfeit from the hat, which contains any number from 1 to 15, for example. As soon as all the guests have learned their numbers, each participant in turn names this “his” number and begins to list everything that exists and does not exist in the world associated with this number, for example, if a guest pulled out the number 1, he can list: the saying “Alone in the field” not a warrior"; catchphrase “One to One”; name any player who plays number 1; name the first element in the periodic table - hydrogen; sing a song with the number 1 “Once a year the gardens bloom” and so on, if, for example, a guest comes across the number 7, he can also remember some athlete with number 7; remember that there are 7 wonders of the world in the world; catchphrase “On 7th heaven”; the saying “Seven do not wait for one” and so on. The main thing is to use your wits and rummage through your memory, and then you can find your own unique “stories” for all the numbers: movies, songs, sayings, numbers of players and elements, catch phrases, and so on. Whichever guest can name the most facts about their number will win.

A lot of words

Each of the guests takes turns pulling out their own forfeit from the hat, in which any letter of the alphabet is indicated. And at the “start” command, the presenter sets a time for the participant - a minute, and during this minute the participant must name as many words as possible starting with the letter he pulled out. At the end of the game, the title of winner and the prize will be taken by the participant who can name the most words starting with “their” letter.

Cinema on the table

You need to print out notes in advance with famous catchphrases from a movie and preferably about food, for example, “How disgusting this jellied fish of yours is,” “He who doesn’t work, eats,” “Sit down to eat, please,” and so on. The presenter announces the beginning of the competition and the guests look with their eyes for the notes on the table, read and guess the films from which the phrases are taken - “The Irony of Fate”, “The Adventures of Shurik” and so on. Whichever guest finds the most notes and guesses the most movies will win a prize.

Traveling by country

The presenter prepares “compromising evidence” on the countries for this competition - any two pictures characterizing a specific country. The presenter takes turns showing two pictures, and the guests at the table guess the country itself. Whoever has the most guessed countries is the winner. Examples of pictures:
1. Bear and balalaika (Russia);
2. Carnival and coffee (Brazil);
3. Sombreros and maracas (Mexico);
4. Pizza and gladiator fights (Italy);
5. Tulips and cheese (Holland);
6. Banks (institutions) and watches (Switzerland) and so on.

Full spoon

Each participant receives a tablespoon (the same). There is a bowl of grapes (olives) on the table. At the command “start”, each participant collects grapes in his spoon. Which guest will fill their spoon? more grapes in one minute, that's the winner.

In conjecture

For some time, all guests are transformed into certain heroes, and which ones will be determined by the forfeits. So, everyone in turn pulls out their phantom, in which the name of the hero is indicated (perhaps from real history, and fictitious). Guests do not say anything to anyone about the name of their hero, but only for a while transform into a fantasy role, for example, Jack Sparrow, Julius Caesar, Stalin, Terminator and so on. Using phrases and behavior of celebrities, guests should show the characters as believably as possible. This way it will be very interesting communication at the table, and whichever guest can guess the most characters among the guests will also receive a prize.

Ten minutes of transformation

The presenter announces that 10 minutes of transformation will now begin. Each guest takes turns pulling out a forfeit from a bag in which some hero or status of a person is indicated, for example, a hussar, a drunken watchman, funny clown, Ivan the Terrible and so on. Guests become familiar with their new role and begin to communicate and have fun in the appropriate style. Well, when will so many different and so interesting heroes gather at one table? And most cheerful guests Those who can prove themselves best will receive prizes.

Feed all your neighbors at once

Participation is accepted by guests who have neighbors both to the right and to the left, for example, the second at the table, the fourth, and so on. In front of the participants there are plates with the same contents, for example, mashed potatoes or sour cream, and each participant has two spoons in their hands: one in the left hand, the other in the right. At the “start” command, participants begin to feed their neighbors, simultaneously working with both their right and left hands. Whichever participant feeds the contents of his plate to his neighbors the fastest will win. The prize will also be given to the most patient and diligent “neighbor” who may have to eat from the hands of two participants at once.

The number of participants in these competition games is two or more people. They are capable of causing excitement among both players and spectators. They can be used at home at any festive event, be it a birthday, or just a get-together, at a picnic, and even at work during lunch break.

These games (Spin the Bottle, checkers, roulette and many other different ones) are for very adults. They will definitely amuse your friends and add variety to friendly gatherings.

"Flight of the card." Game of skill

What you need to play:

  • cards
  • a wastebasket (a shoebox, or even a hat).

At a distance of 2-3 meters from the line (from where you need to throw cards), place a shoebox or hat, or a waste paper basket. The presenter hands each player 5 cards and writes down their names. Standing behind the line (behind the threshold) and WITHOUT CROSSING the border, each player tries to throw his cards into the box one at a time.

To begin with, a training round is conducted. If someone leans so far that they lose their balance and step over the line (threshold), their throw is NOT DEFENDED. Naturally, the winner is the one who manages to throw the most cards.

Jam jars

It’s also a game of skill, but also a test of patience.

What you need to play:

  • 6 jam jars
  • 6 tennis balls.

A couple of players are competing. 6 cans are placed close together on the floor. Each player receives 3 tennis balls and tries to throw them into the jars, standing on a pre-marked line (about 2-3 meters). This turns out to be not so simple. These balls are really bouncy!

Umbrella game

A duel between two players.

What you need to play:

  • 2 sticks
  • 2 glasses
  • scotch

Attach a glass to the end of the stick (use the screw-on holder of a mop or brush) with tape and fill it full with water (for fun they are called “umbrellas”).

2 people stand opposite each other and hold these umbrellas behind their backs by the very end. One of them asks a question, the second answers and takes 3 steps forward and 3 steps back, trying not to spill water. Then the second one asks a question to the first one. After 3 pairs of questions and answers, the game ends and the result is summed up: who has more water— 3 points, witty questions and worthy answers are also scored.

Collect an article

What you need to play:

  • photocopies of a funny article by number of participants
  • and the same number of envelopes.

The presenter makes several photocopies of the same article and cuts each photocopy line by line and puts each article in a separate envelope. Envelopes are distributed to all players and they must assemble an article from the lines. Whoever does it faster is the winner.

Cheerful handkerchief

What you need to play: a handkerchief.

The presenter throws a handkerchief. While he is flying everyone should laugh, as soon as he falls everyone should be silent. Whoever laughs is out.

I…

All players say: "I". To anyone who laughs, the presenter adds some funny, stupid, amusing word. And this player already says two words. In the end, the players’ remarks can be like this: “I’m a watermelon clunker jumping under the bridge...” In short, any kind of gobbledygook.

This game is suitable for friendly get-togethers between best friends or a pajama party. The main thing is to wrap the chocolate in many layers of newspaper or wrapping paper, and each of them must be wrapped with threads without tying. On the table on the cutting board lies a chocolate bar, wrapped in several layers of paper and tied with thread (each layer). There is a fork and knife nearby, and on the chair there is a hat, scarf and gloves. Players roll the dice and whoever gets a “six” puts on a hat, scarf and gloves and tries to use a knife and fork to get to the chocolate bar and eat it. Meanwhile, the other players continue to roll the dice and whoever also gets a “six” takes the scarf, hat and gloves from the first player and continues what he started. The game continues until the chocolate bar is eaten (players eat a small piece of it).

Tell me a poem

What you need to play:

  • walnuts or large round candies.

Before starting the game, you need to remember a well-known poem. After this, you need to read these verses in turn with nuts (sweets) behind both cheeks. The phrases of the poem are quite funny. If the audience guesses the poem, the participant wins.

Comic concert

The players portray orchestra musicians, each plays some kind of “instrument”, including the leader. Suddenly the driver throws down his “instrument” and begins to play on the “instrument” of any player, who must quickly begin to “play” on the “instrument” of the driver. Whoever hesitates pays forfeit

Piggy bank

What you need to play:

  • trifle
  • capacity.

Each person is given a handful of change (the more, the better). Some container (for example, a three-liter glass jar) is placed at a distance of about 4-5 meters from the players. Players are invited to transfer coins into a jar, holding them between their legs and covering the distance separating them from the treasured “piggy bank”. The winner is the one who carries all the small change and spills the least amount on the floor.

Box with a surprise

What you need to play:

  • box
  • any things.

The game is very fun and unpredictable, which makes it funny for both players and spectators. To the music, guests pass each other a box with a surprise. When the music stops, the person who has the box in his hands takes out of the box (DO NOT LOOK) the first thing he comes across and puts it on himself (and must not take it off, for example, until the end of the game or 1 hour, or until the end of the evening).

It could be a bib, a cap (cap, cap), huge panties or a bra, nightgown etc. The competition is usually very fun, because everyone tries to get rid of the box as quickly as possible, and any thing taken out of it makes everyone else very happy.

Do not touch the feather with the pipette. The winner is the one who is the first to send his feather across the entire table.

What's behind there?

Duel between 2 players.

What you need to play:

  • 2 pictures
  • 2 numbers drawn on paper.

Attach clear pictures to the backs of the players (for example, a drawing of a hare, an airplane, a duck) and numbers (from 10 to 10) drawn on circles. Now each of them, standing on one leg, holds the other bent at the knee with his hand.

At the signal, starting to jump on one leg in this position, both try to see the picture and number on the back of the other. The one who manages to do this first wins. You cannot stand on the other leg!

Players walk around the house and, having discovered an item, they write its location on the list and move on without touching the hidden item. The winner is the one who is the first to hand over to the presenter the lists with the correctly indicated location of the items.

bell ringer

The game is suitable for both children and adults; you can play it indoors, on a picnic or at any family event.

What you need to play: a bell.

A bell or several bells are hung around the “ringer’s” neck and his hands are tied behind his back so that he cannot hold the bells. Everyone else blindfolds themselves and tries to catch the “ringer,” who tries to move carefully between them so that the bell does not ring. Everyone is very happy when they catch, but not the right one.

Thieves

The game is suitable for any company, for any holiday.

What you need to play:

  • newspaper
  • a set of “treasures” or prizes.

The players are positioned around the driver at a distance of 1-1.5 meters. They take turns trying to steal his “treasures,” and the driver listens and tries to hit the approaching player with a newspaper. If he succeeds, the “thief” returns to his place empty-handed. Whoever manages to free the prisoner becomes a guard next time.

Musical falls

Everyone moves to the music, as soon as it stops the players must sit on the floor (Before starting the game, it is necessary to agree that you need to sit on the floor completely so that your buttocks touch the floor).
