Hair dye 6. Who suits ash-blond hair color and how to achieve the ideal shade

The history of the Garnier brand is imbued with care and love for the fair sex. It was Garnier who first opened up a bright world of shades to women, allowing them to easily change their look and always look amazing. Depth and brightness of color, high quality, rich palette and naturalness are the main tasks that the creators of the brand have been successfully coping with for almost 60 years.

About the brand and its advantages

Garnier is a universally recognized global brand of quality cosmetics. He is a master of innovation in the field of cosmetic products, in particular for hair. The company was created back in 1904 by the French perfumer and hairdresser Alfred Amour Garnier. It was he who proposed a lotion for washing hair, which replaced ordinary soap.

A huge breakthrough in the world of beauty was the production of Belle Color cream-paint. With the new product, women could change the color of their hair at home without fear or difficulty. The brand is actively developing in this direction, unique collections of hair dyes are being created, and its palette of shades is becoming richer.

Garnier paint has earned recognition from home fashionistas and hairdressing gurus. The luxurious Garnier paint palette allows girls to experiment and create new images. While you are adjusting your hair color, the innovative formula of the product takes care of your curls, filling them with useful ingredients and energy.

Other, no less significant properties of garnier hair dyes include:

  • richness and durability of tone;
  • the palette of hair colors is distinguished by its diversity, so choosing a color for everyone is not difficult;
  • the tone indicated on the packaging fully corresponds to the final result of the transformation;
  • the product contains a minimal amount of ammonia, which makes the painting process even safer for curls;
  • The company has prepared ammonia-free formulations for particularly demanding and fastidious customers.

Attention! Garnier paint is an easy and simple way to adjust the tone of your hair or completely change it radically, even at home. By the way, the product package, in addition to the active ingredients, includes an active nourishing mask for strands exposed to chemical action and a pair of gloves.

Review of Garnier Color Naturals hair dye.

Cream hair dye Garnier color naturals.

After many years of painting black with household paints and then double washing, I decided to completely switch to professional dyes. I first switched to Estel Essex Princess, from which I used chocolate colors 5.7 and 6.7. I dyed it once in a salon, and now I use professional paint for home dyeing. This time I decided to try Kapous Professional, color 6.0.

Dye volume: 100 ml

Price: 213 rubles

Volume of Cream Oxide 1000 ml

Price: 260 rubles

Product Description:

The paint from the Kapous Proffessional series has a permanent composition that has a lamination effect. The paint contains natural ingredients, keratins and hydrolyzed silk. Minimum ammonia content.

Dye color: 6.0 rich dark blonde, in Russian speaking dark blond. Thanks to the 100 ml volume, I have enough for two colorings. Instructions inside the box. Gloves are not included with professional paints.

Oxide: I take 3%, because the higher the percentage of oxidizing agent, the more the hair is damaged, the quality of coloring deteriorates, color fastness decreases, etc. I purchased large volume oxide 1000 ml, it is very profitable.

How to dye gray hair with 3% oxide : there are two ways mordonsazh and/or prepigmentation . The first method prepares gray hair to accept the coloring composition, the second method fills gray hair with pigment, since there is no native pigment.

In the first case Before dyeing, apply only 3% oxide without dye to dry hair; if the gray hair is in patches, then apply only to these areas for 10-20 minutes, then dry the hair with a towel, do not wash off the oxide. And then you can start coloring, mix 3% oxide and dye and paint in the usual way. The quality of hair after two times with 3% oxide will be many times better than after one time, for example, with 6% oxide.

In the second case Before you start coloring, take only the dye, it is better if you take a tone from the natural range, which has a zero at the end, apply it without oxide to slightly damp areas with gray hair and leave for 20 minutes. We don’t wash it off. After this, you can start painting, mix 3% oxide and dye and paint in the usual way.

If you have so-called “stubborn” gray hair, then you can combine mordonsage and then pre-pigmentation, and after that you can start coloring in the usual way.

Dyeing process:

I have some gray hair and it is scattered, both methods cover my gray hair, but I noticed that after a month of coloring with pre-pigmentation, the colored gray hairs begin to shine and are different from the others. Now I use mordonsage until I notice any glare.

The paint is mixed in the proportion: 1 part dye / 1.5 parts oxide. From time to time a sharp unpleasant odor is felt, then it becomes less noticeable. The paint is thick. Convenient soft tube of dye, from which it is easy to squeeze out the contents. There is no burning sensation on the skin.

How to dye your hair without darkening the ends, if you dye your hair monthly in dark tones of levels 3-6. Apply the coloring mixture to the roots, going slightly beyond the border of the roots. We hold the dye for 35 minutes, 15 minutes before the end you need to move the part of the hair to be dyed so that the dyeing process proceeds evenly. We do not apply paint along the entire length at all. After finishing dyeing, before washing off the dye, you can moisten your hair with warm water and the dye distributor from top to bottom, massaging for 2-3 minutes in order to refresh the color along the entire length. As a rule, it is enough to dye your hair dark two or three times along the entire length, and the ends will become several tones darker than the overall hair color.

Result:

The photo shows hair a month after dyeing. Seems like a good result. But you need to take into account that I still have Estel Essex 6.7 paint left on the length. And here are a few cm of roots - Kapous Professional 6.0

Photos without flash, artificial light.

Addition:

I’ve been dyeing my hair with Kapous Professional dye for a year now, and I order the same dye for my mother. Only I paint at 3%, and she at 6%. During her use she tried 1.0, 3.0, 4.0. That is, black, dark brown and brown. The first two colors hold up well. But the third one - brown - after 2 weeks it began to turn red and wash out very badly.

I tried 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0, 6.1, 6.07. Those. brown, light brown, rich dark blonde, ashy dark blonde and cool dark blonde. After 2 weeks, all these shades begin to turn red and lighten; after a month and a half, the color becomes 2 shades lighter than the original. I am very disappointed, even 4.0, which both my mother and I used, both gave the same result. Only 1.0 and 3.0 benefit. In comparison, before that I used Estel Essex Princess for six months, color 6.7 washed off only at the end of the month, and not after 2 weeks like Kapous. So I will continue to look for a more permanent dye.

Thank you for stopping by my review!

Before purchasing hair dye for dyeing at home, you should understand what the product label means. What you need to pay attention to is not beautiful name product, but on the numbers that are printed on the front or side of the package.

Each package has a code separated by a dot or slash. The numbers in the numbers of hair dyes show the color, the presence and number of additional undertones, brightness or dullness.

The first value shows the base color:

  • 1 – means black color;
  • 2 – intense chestnut;
  • 3 – deep brown;
  • 4 – chestnut;
  • 5 – muted brown;
  • 6 – intense light brown;
  • 7 – muted light brown;
  • 8 – light brown;
  • 9 – blond;
  • 10 – light blond.

On some products you can find the numbers 11, 12 - these dyes are designed to give strands an ultra or extra blonde shade. Value 1–5 is a dark palette, everything above 6 is different degrees of blonde.

On some products for coloring curls, the main color is indicated in Latin letters:

Letter Decoding
C Ash blonde
Pl Platinum tones
A These paints are designed for strong lightening.
N Natural shades
E Beige color
M The color has a matte structure
W Chestnut tones
R The strands will have a red tint varying degrees intensity
G Golden color
K Copper palette

The intense and bright color is indicated by the letter I on the packaging; purple tones are hidden under the code F, V.

How to deal with additional undertones?

After a dot or an inclined stroke there may be 1 or 2 numbers, which indicate the presence of additional neutral, cold and warm pigments in the composition.

What do the second numbers on a hair dye package mean:

  • 0 – color is as close to natural as possible;
  • 1 – ash row with a blue or lavender tint;
  • 2 – matte structure, there is a green tint;
  • 3 – golden tint with orange or yellow tint;
  • 4 – red color with copper shimmer;
  • 5 – mahogany row with pigments from the red and violet palette;
  • 6 – included in, contains a rich blue pigment;
  • 7 – as close as possible to natural shades, contains red and brown tones.

Dyes marked 1.2 are considered cold, all others allow you to give warm colors to the strands. All professional products are labeled according to international system, but even the same numbers may differ between brands.

What does the third number mean?

If there are 2 numbers after a dot or stroke on a paint box, they mean the presence of a non-dominant undertone, which is approximately 30-50% of the main color.

How to decipher the third digit:

  • 1 – ashy shades;
  • 2 – purple palette;
  • 3 – golden scale;
  • 4 – copper undertones;
  • 5 – mahogany tones;
  • 6 – red tint;
  • 7 – coffee undertone.

For example, code 23 means that after dyeing the strands will acquire a purple color with a slight golden glow. And if code 32 is indicated on the package, then gold predominates, and the curls will have a beige tint.

Some nuances of choosing paint

When selecting lightening products, choose a tone that differs from the natural color of the curls by no more than 2 shades. There are no restrictions for the dark palette. The degree of pigment resistance is also indicated on the packaging from 0 to 3: than more value, the longer the composition will last and the more ammonia compounds and peroxide are in its formula.

What else you need to pay attention to:

  • if there is a 0 before the second digit in the code, this means the presence of warm, natural pigments; the more zeros, the more natural the result looks;
  • if zero is the third in the code, then the strands will acquire a bright and rich color after dyeing;
  • after a dot or stroke there are same numbers– additional pigment enhances the brightness of the main tone.

To cover gray hair, you need to choose products with a lot of zeros on the packaging. Compositions with a golden undertone will cope with gray hair by 75%, red hair, and other bright options hide only half.

Dyeing at home should not be done if there is a desire to switch from a cold palette to a warm palette, if gray hair makes up more than 50% of all strands.

Examples of color interpretations Garnier, L'Oreal, Estel

To understand the code on the packaging, you need to first study several examples of decoding.

Decoding the numbers on the packaging of some popular products:

  • L'Oreal 813 paint: 8 means light brown, 1 - has an ash undertone, 3 - there are shimmers of gold. After dyeing, you will get a warm light brown without any foreign impurities.
  • L'Oreal 10.02: refers to the light blonde range, 0 indicates the presence of natural shade pigments in the composition, 2 - the tone has a matte structure. After dyeing, the strands will become cold, very light brown without any foreign impurities.
  • Estelle paint 8.66: the first number indicates that the product belongs to the light brown range, the numbers after the dot indicate a high content of purple pigment. The result of dyeing will be a fashionable cool lavender color.
  • Estel 1/0: classic black without additional undertones, 0 indicates complete naturalness. This is a deep raven shade that covers gray hair well.
  • Garnier 6.3: dark brown, close to light brown, 3 means the presence of golden notes. The curls will look like liquid gold, the color is warm and rich.

When choosing, you need to focus on the condition of your own hair. The final shade may differ if they have already been dyed, especially with natural dyes, or there are bleached strands. Only a professional can mix colors correctly to create the perfect shade.

In order not to make a mistake with the tone, you should carefully study the packaging; the numbers will help you determine the main and additional colors, and understand whether they belong to a cold or warm palette. Also pay attention to the expiration date - expired products cannot be used, the result of such coloring can be unpredictable, and such a product is harmful to the health of the strands.

To make your hair shine with a new color, you don’t have to go to an expensive salon, because the entire dyeing procedure can be done at home: You only need high-quality hair dye.

The Garnier color palette surprises with its diversity, a large number of collections makes it possible to choose the appropriate shade to suit all requirements: skin color type, hair type, as well as individual preferences.

How to choose a color

Important rules when choosing hair dye in the Garnier color palette:

Instructions for dyeing hair with Garnier dye

Coloring your hair with Garnier hair dye is very easy. Conduct this procedure you can do it yourself.

In order not to stain your clothes and hands while coloring your hair, You should wear a special cape and gloves.

First of all, you need to make a mixture for hair coloring: mix all the ingredients in correct sequence and in accordance with the numbering of the dye and developer provided by the manufacturer. It is best to use non-metallic utensils for these purposes.

The emulsion is mixed with paint and a special developer, then everything is stirred until smooth.

As the components are mixed, the color of the mixture produced will change, but this will not affect the final result that will appear on the hair.
Before applying the coloring mixture to your hair, it is strongly recommended to do an allergy test.

To do this, apply a little paint to your hand and wait about 10-15 minutes.

Hair should be dry, no need to wash it. Apply the coloring mixture to your hair from the roots and end at the ends. Movements are made from top to bottom; when applied, the mass should be evenly distributed along the entire length of the hair.

Garnier Color&Shine hair dye, like other dyes from this company, is harmless to hair because it does not contain ammonia.

After applying the dye, you need to gather your hair up. The dye mixture is left on the hair for 25-30 minutes.

Then the hair is thoroughly washed with plenty of water, after which conditioner is applied to the hair roots. It should be distributed not with your hands, but with a comb for greater uniformity.

How to properly wash your hair and care for colored hair

In order for the resulting shade to last as long as possible, you must follow simple rules and recommendations:

  1. Wash your hair only two days after the coloring procedure. But applying deeply nourishing products is not recommended at all, since they remove color pigments.
  2. Rinse with various herbs. This procedure will help maintain hair color and shine. For example, blondes can make chamomile infusion (but only girls with golden or sandy hair), brunettes with black tea, and redheads with hibiscus tea infusion.
  3. It is not recommended to wash your hair too often, the color will wash out faster.
  4. It's better to dry your hair naturally without using a hair dryer, and it’s better to leave perms for later.
  5. Should be combed a brush with soft teeth.
  6. Wet hair is needed Gently squeeze in your palms.
  7. If possible, then you need to wash your hair with a bottle drinking water , filtered or boiled, ordinary chlorinated tap water has a negative effect on hair color.
  8. It is not recommended to style hair that is too wet, you should let them dry.
  9. When installing, it is advisable to use special foams and mousses.
  10. Avoid walking in the open sun frequently without a scarf or hat warm days, and in winter - without a hat.
  11. After swimming in the pool (without a rubber cap) it is recommended Rinse your hair in the shower to remove the bleach. Likewise, in the salty sea, you should always rinse your hair to remove salt.

Be beautiful and wonderful!

What do the numbers on Garnier hair dye mean:

Garnier Olia: shade palette:

There are more than a hundred shades of caramel hair color, so every girl should study fashion magazines and well-known online publications to find “your” tone. After all, caramel can not only decorate a woman, but also highlight the flaws in her face.

Who is caramel color suitable for?

Given the diversity of celebrities, any girl, if desired, can find an actress or famous TV presenter similar to her. It’s quite difficult to evaluate yourself, but a detached look from the outside will help you decide on the choice of shade. After all, famous ladies often change their image, changing in one evening beyond recognition. So you need to find in the luggage of your star “twin” the period when she wore caramel and honey and soberly evaluate which tone suited her best.

And who does this color suit “in theory”? Caramel suits girls with “Autumn” and “Spring” color types.

The color scheme of “Autumn” is considered the most pronounced in comparison with other color types. A characteristic feature of this type is the absence of a pink undertone on the face. The skin can have a pale or almost olive tint, but at the same time it is always clean, dense, elastic, without acne or other flaws. The only nuance is the golden freckles, but they can be considered just a cute feature. The look is always bright, juicy, but the color range is different: from amber, brown eyes to blue eyes.

As for hair, its palette is varied, but usually lies between light red and dark chestnut (coffee) shades. Nature itself gently pushes autumn women towards caramel. After all, this color will fit perfectly on light red and copper strands.

The main star representatives of the autumn color type are considered Julia Roberts, Gisele Budchen, Ashley Olsen, Drew Barrymore and Carmen Electra. As can be seen from various photos, the light honey shade suits them very well, and repainting them in a different color, for example, black, practically disfigured the star beauties. If a girl is anything like one of these actresses, she should take a closer look at caramel paint and match her clothes and lipstick to it.

The color scheme of “Spring” is somewhat similar to autumn, but it is not so bright and rich. All spring colors are somewhat muted and blurred. Reminiscent of viscous soft toffee in cream syrup. The eyes are light in various shades: from sky blue to light amber. The skin is thin and velvety, it turns red easily, although it does not become covered with unsightly spots, but seems to glow warmly from within.

Spring girls also have scatterings of freckles on their faces, but they are almost invisible. This type is characterized by thin blond hair of various color ranges, for example, light walnut.

There are extremely many representatives of the “Spring” color type among actresses. Gentlemen and the public prefer blondes, and there are a lot of them among spring girls. For example this:

  • Nicole Kidman;
  • Anna Kournikova;
  • Valeria;
  • Jodie Foster;
  • Cameron Diaz;
  • Glucose;
  • Kate Hudson.

Caramel shades suit all of them, but if they were repainted black, burnt mustard or dark brown, then appearance changed for the worse.

Who doesn't it suit?

But caramel is not favorable to everyone; it can only spoil some women. This applies to the “Winter” and “Summer” color types. Summer girls are sometimes confused with spring girls, because both are blondes. But blonde, which belongs to the “Summer” color type, has a cooler palette. The skin of girls of this type has a reddish tint and green eyes.

Typical Slavic appearance can boast:

  • Natalya Vodyanova;
  • Milla Jovovich;
  • Kirnsten Dunst;
  • Jennifer Aniston;
  • Sasha Pivovarova.

A caramel shade will only emphasize the reddish color of the skin, so girls of this type should choose a different palette for coloring.

The color scheme of “Winter” is light-cold, porcelain. A woman of this color type practically came out of a cartoon or photo about the Snow Queen, but only with dark, sometimes plum-colored hair. Classic winter women include Monica Bellucci, Penelope Cruz, Sandra Bullock, Demi Moore and Megan Fox. Did any of the above suit a light honey shade of hair? So the Snow Queen shouldn’t experiment with colors that don’t suit her.

Examples of popular shades with photos

But what shade of caramel will look most advantageous on the curls of a spring or autumn beauty? Here again the stars and typical classifications of the entire honey palette will come to the rescue.

Light caramel

This shade is based on a standard blonde that gradually fades into luminous beige and gold. The richer the palette at the base, the better. When caramel is applied to the base, the hair will begin to shimmer from brown to sandy shades. Ideally, the color at the roots should be slightly darker than the ends of the hair. In this case, the hairstyle will acquire additional visual volume, which girls of the spring color type lack.

Light caramel shade is one of the most difficult colors in the palette. It cannot be obtained at home. Some girls believe that to get light caramel it is enough to bleach the strands and then apply caramel dye. But with this sequence, you will only get golden hair with an easily visible reddish tint. If you want to make a rich, shimmery light caramel color, you need to use a multi-stage light base.

Dark caramel

It suits all dark-skinned and dark-skinned women, creating an overall “chocolate” look. To achieve the right color, you need to take a light brown shade as a base and apply caramel dye to your hair. But when painting blonde hair Even a darker tone must be approached with caution. It is better to color your hair gradually so as not to spoil it with a sudden transition and not to miss the most suitable shade for your face type. If you don't miss the tone, it will turn out gorgeous.

If the light caramel peach shade is more suitable for princesses, then the dark caramel shade is created for queens. And for young girls with light transparent skin, dark caramel looks too unnatural.

Honey-caramel

Honey caramel suits all spring girls with brown hair and light eyes. If a girl has bright dark eyes, then a similar hair color will make the image somewhat unnatural, and the general message of caramel color is maximum naturalness. The honey-caramel shade differs from the previous one in the abundance of red and even rust, but the golden shade will soften the aggressive red, creating a sort of lush crown of fallen autumn leaves on the head.

Caramel black

At first glance, this shade resembles a dark one, but upon closer examination, play and complex color transitions become visible, which are difficult for a non-professional hairdresser to achieve. Experts call it the most delicious and spicy caramel color, although too much time is spent on its creation, because in addition to the standard coloring, it is necessary to choose the base shade of the hair so that the hairstyle looks expensive and status.

Chocolate-caramel

This shade can make any girl with an autumn or spring color type dazzling, but it will look more impressive against the background of bronze and tanned skin. Alternatively, a brown-haired woman returning from vacation can dye her hair with caramel chocolate, almond, carioca or cappuccino to further emphasize her tan. For example, Jennifer Lopez or Beyoncé.

Also, this shade of marzipan is suitable for girls with a dull appearance or simply those who prefer light makeup. Since the entire emphasis of the image will be concentrated on the hair, very pale skin is acceptable with this hair color. Technically, this color can be obtained by mixing several red, milky and chocolate shades and using the shatush technology.

Golden caramel

This hair shade is probably the most natural in the entire palette of caramel colors. It is similar to wheat, but brighter and shimmering. If a blonde wants to change herself a little, then with just a couple of tinted balms she can become golden caramel, latte or camel color with cinnamon for a while to understand whether she should change her color completely or not. This delicate tone, when applied correctly, has pronounced golden and copper notes.

The main disadvantage of the shade is that it often blends in with a tan, so all girls with bronze skin need to carefully choose the right tone for painting. Ideal for highlighted hair. Plays beautifully in the rays of daylight.

Caramel-ash

Looks ideal on naturally light hair, but to increase the glow effect, you can apply macchiato coloring to individual strands. This tone is suitable only for brown-eyed owners of impeccably clean linen skin. The right tone can only be achieved in a salon.

If you try to dye your hair a caramel color with an ashy tint on your own, you can damage it. The technology of combining ash and caramel shades is quite complex; not all professional craftsmen master it. If there are obvious errors in technology, the hair will end up with something like flour or sugar, rather than a uniform, beautiful color.

Is it possible to dye gray hair with caramel?

Caramel color will perfectly cover gray hair. Moreover, it is not necessary to immediately achieve a dark caramel color. To begin with, it will be enough to take any tinted shampoo with the desired honey tone and apply it to your hair, and then rinse it off. Ideally, the gray hair will be unevenly but stylishly covered with golden or nutty-honey patches, which will contrast beautifully with the white background.

You should not even try to dye your gray hair caramel colors yourself, since this technology has several stages. Violation of one of them will lead to incorrect tinting of the entire head. After all, in fact, pearlescent gray hair is the same as bleached hair.

Fashionable shades of the current season

Fashion still places an emphasis on naturalness, which is why caramel shades of hair are in trend. In addition to caramel, there was, is and will be popular amber, Californian highlights for medium hair and balayage. Fashion values individuality, so it does not make any adjustments to colors, only to the style and quality of the hairstyle. There is no need for meaningless pictures, we need a simple harmonious image. You can mix textures and colors, but carefully and as naturally as possible.

What hairstyles are suitable for caramel hair color?

The presentation of caramel on the hair is based on the play of light and tone, which is what needs to be emphasized with a multi-layered hairstyle. The haircut should be layered, wavy and flowing, maybe with dark roots. Moreover, the length is not so important, although, of course, long light honey hair with tints looks impressive.

All short haircuts should have volume at the roots. Hair can be combed back or curled, but caramel color does not tolerate slickness. It's better to turn the hairstyle into a lot of African American curls!

Medium-length hair can be cut into a multi-level bob with a ladder and curled at the ends. Also, for caramel shades of hair, all kinds of curls and ombre look good.

If you managed to save long hair, then after painting them in a warm caramel shade they will shimmer and sparkle in the sun. With such a length, it’s better not to do anything; you can just curl it slightly at the ends and lift it above the roots. Then the hairstyle will look as natural as possible.

Choosing caramel: paints and balms

Which paint to choose so that the color is maximally rich, bright and stylish? None, since only a professional hairdresser can make the right caramel. This is not dyeing in one tone, but a complex multi-stage process; it is better not to experiment. Caramel hair color does not always look expensive and rich; if you break the technology, you can get a zebra instead of soft tints.

The easiest way to add a caramel shade to your hair is with a balm. You can buy a product of absolutely any brand, for example, Tonic, Londa, Faberlic, Palet or Wella. It is better to choose a tone based on your natural hair color. For example, a golden caramel shade is suitable for blondes, and a dark shade for brunettes. When applying the balm, you should always rely on the instructions, do not overexpose the product to maintain a brighter color, and wash it off exactly when it is supposed to according to the rules.

The most interesting hair dyes in caramel shades include:

  • Estel ESSEX Shade 8/74 – light blond brown-copper (Caramel);
  • Garnier Color Naturals (Garner Color Naturals) Shade 6.34 Caramel;
  • Garnier paint - GarnierNutrisse Crème Caramel;
  • Cies paint – caramel blonde;
  • Caramello capsule – shade 7.8 Caramel or Caramello;
  • L'Oreal Casting Caramel - ammonia-free paint;
  • Estelle paint;
  • Pallet Mother of Pearl;
  • Palette Caramel Preference;
  • some henna color shades.

This is a small palette of colors. But any hairdresser should have his own experience, working formulas, proven paint numbers and views on the ideal caramel color. He will help you choose the right shade or apply bronzing. But you shouldn’t paint yourself.

Caramel is an expensive and complex, maybe even a status shade. If you don’t have enough money for a good specialist, then turn yourself into a queen using improvised methods without professional paints(Loreal paint is, of course, good, but it’s better to use more expensive products) it’s not worth it. It’s better to save up and get a beautiful hair color for a long time. After all, you can never be sure which dye is suitable for a particular hair condition.

How to maintain the shine of caramel: care rules

To maintain the bright highlights of caramel hair, you need to properly care for it. It is unacceptable to wash your hair with a simple shampoo that has not been selected according to your hair type and dyeing method. 90% of popular hair products contain ingredients that weaken hair, making it brittle and dull. If there are similar inscriptions on a bottle of shampoo:

  • sodium lauryl sulfate;
  • sodium laureth sulfate;
  • coco sulfate;

then you need to throw away the bottle. It is better to use shampoos without such compounds. Such medicinal cosmetics can be found in pharmacies, beauty salons and hairdressers.

As for special hair masks, all soothing herbal and oil masks will do; there are many recipes. Sometimes you can rinse your hair in a decoction of chamomile flowers.

You should never wash them in hot water, and also always wear a hat in the scorching sun. If this does not seem enough, you can undergo the procedure of salon slate lamination and toning, as a result of which the hair will stop deteriorating.
