Warface freezes, what should I do? Warface slows down: the main reasons and solutions to the problem

If you want to make money doing what you love, why not upgrade and sell Warface accounts? You can put Warface accounts up for sale on the website mmo-shop.ru and receive money from buyers. This way, without interrupting your favorite game, you can raise money for your bread and butter. What do you think of the idea?
It's time for OBT of the next network shooter - . This project was promoted online quite intensively and gathered a considerable audience at the start of open beta testing. But with the launch of tests, some problems in Warface did not disappear, and some, on the contrary, appeared. And some of them you can’t decide on your own. In this post I will try to tell you about such absurdities that are present at the moment:

1. Font and long nicknames in Warface

This is not such a problem, but it hurts the eye quite a bit. It is connected with the fact that in the game some unscrupulous users create such tricky names for themselves that the ladder table turns into a hellish hell. Here's a screenshot as an example:

2. Lags and bugs in Warface

The second thing is that the game sometimes puts us on a white screen, tries to freeze, lags in some places, and so on. It also happens that while flying in a helicopter, you can simply fall out of it. Well, cases of missing textures and other nonsense are not uncommon:

3. Noobs in the game Warface

The third problem that occurs in perhaps every MMOFPS is schoolboys and just noobs. They don’t let you play normally, they troll, they infuriate you... whatever they do, you just don’t get any pleasure from the game. In such cases, you can forget that such a thing exists. team game and, without paying attention, destroy opponents alone with a sniper.

4. Game physics

This is a funny problem in the game Warface, which is sometimes even funny. After all, thanks to physics, the corpses of enemies can sometimes be found in such an interesting pose that you don’t see this in horror films. Falling dead from a height, the enemy can hang on the wires, or catch his head on the gate... In general, here's an example for you:

If other problems appear, write to us and we will try to solve them.

Warface crashes? No problem, we’ll find your problem and make an offer. effective solution. There are various reasons that cause the game to crash during a battle or even at a very early stage.

Reasons for crashing during loading

In Warface, there are splash screens, the game loads, but the loading does not reach the end - a black screen appears and the game crashes. Why? On the game forum, you will find many threads about this problem, but in fact three programs are to blame:

  1. Avast Antivirus;
  2. Comodo Antivirus;
  3. Fraps – recording the game world for further enrichment on YouTube.

It is necessary not only to disable antivirus and other programs, but to completely erase them from the OS. This is a working scheme that will allow you to get back into the game.

Common Problems

Weak iron

If you are playing on an old computer, it is quite possible that it is no longer designed for such loads. There are two solutions: if the reason arose recently, you need to clean the “insides” of dust, change the thermoplastic as, most likely, the processor is overheating, or buy a new computer. Also change the game settings to minimum.

Internet problem

If it is “stupid”, you need to change the tariff or try a different Internet source (for example, buy a 3g modem, it will have a different IP and DNS, which means you are back in the game!).

Maybe some programs are constantly downloading something from the Internet, try disabling the unnecessary ones.

If you have Wi-fi, try connecting directly (via cable). Plug the power cord into the system unit.

System Settings

You can also try to change the compatibility and run the game as an administrator and increase the page file.

Reinstall the OS - it is advisable to change it to another one, for example, if you had Windows XP, now it is better to install a more improved analogue - Windows 7 or even Windows 10.

Update your drivers, they may not work correctly. This is especially true for laptops, where the full power of the video card is not always used. Look for drivers only on the manufacturer's official website.

Reinstalling game elements

Try closing the Mail.ru Game Center after launching Warface.

Reinstall the game.

Malware

Check your PC for malware and viruses; perhaps some installed file is interfering with the gameplay.

Have you downloaded cheats and mods, but now the game doesn’t work or crashes? Delete! In the best case, you will enter the game without problems - in the worst case, you will be hacked or banned.

In-game errors

The servers are overloaded, there are many players - so you will be kicked out. Exit? Wait! This especially happens when updates happen. People want to try out a new mode or map.

Unsuccessful update - you can’t log in after the end of the game maintenance? Contact technical support or try to wait until the next maintenance work. This may be a short-term problem that will be resolved soon.

Nothing helps? Write to technical support, perhaps the problem is much more specific.

Do not download various mods, check your computer for viruses, clean the system unit and do not forget to update it. Only then will you be able to play various games absolutely without problems.

All fans of online shooters, and Warface in particular, may find our article useful, where we will look at the causes of many errors encountered by players. Why does Warface crash? Why is the game low FPS? Why does the game lag? We will try to answer all these questions below.

Mini-review of Warface

After the announcement from the Crytek studio, known for the Crysis shooter series, all players were expecting Warface with particular enthusiasm. Expectations were justified, because the game turned out to be worthwhile. Perhaps beautiful graphics will not be any revelation for Crytek, which uses its powerful CryEngine engine in all its titles. In general, the picture, shadows, special effects, physics - everything is excellent (at least for the standards of MMO shooters). The game also has a good co-op, where you and your friends can go through a couple of fun and invigorating missions. But, of course, the most important asset of Warface is its multiplayer, which largely copies the Battlefield multiplayer mode. The game boasts laconic and small maps, where quite dynamic battles often take place. The maps themselves are different from each other, and therefore will not let the player get bored, “blurring” the eyes with the same type of landscapes. There are also a number of modes, among which there are both classic and innovative for the genre. There are 4 classes available for each gamer: “stormtrooper”, “sniper”, “medic” and “engineer”. As expected, you will gradually receive experience points, which you can spend on various useful in-game features.

Common errors in Warface

Why does Warface crash? Like any other game, ours is not without frequent errors that can interfere with the enjoyment of the process. First, let's look at the most common errors in Warface, and also indicate ways to solve them. So, let's open the list:

  • Sometimes an error may appear in the Game Center informing you that "Authorization service is unavailable". What to do? This happens if a limit on the simultaneous connection of online users was enabled due to server overload. In this situation, you just need to wait a little and then try again.
  • Sometimes Warface may crash if you have Fraps, Avast antivirus or Comodo firewall enabled. Try disabling them, and if that doesn’t help, remove them from your computer.
  • If the game does not start at all, showing “zero reaction”, then you should follow the standard procedures: update the DirectX libraries and video card drivers, remove Russian letters from the game path (for example, the following path would be an erroneous option: D:\My games\game name; correct - D:\My games\game_name), try various compatibility modes (XP SP3, Vista, 7) or run as Administrator.
  • If an error occurs "Failed to initialize the GameStartup Interface"(usually for Windows XP owners), then follow the algorithm: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Games\Warface, where to find and delete the game.cfg file.
  • Why does Warface crash with an error stating that video card is not supported? If you suddenly encounter such an error, you will have to check your PC for compliance minimum requirements. If everything is ok, then try
  • After installing Game Center, the client does not load and the following message appears: "Waiting for distribution to become available". What to do? If you encounter this error, try restarting the CI and make sure there are no file download blockers (for example, a firewall). If the error persists, you need to make sure that the p2p protocol is allowed for your network.

Why does Warface crash on startup?

Such errors usually occur due to a glitch or incompatibility of your software. So, let's look at these errors:

  • Crashes when entering the game error about game version mismatch. If you encounter the same problem, update your CI.
  • with TeamSpeak-3 enabled. In this case, you should disable the Overlay plugin in TS.
  • Why does Warface constantly crash? an empty error (an empty window without a description of the problem) and an "Accept" button? In this case, you need to make sure that ports 5222, 60000-65000 TCP are available.
  • The launch is accompanied by an “eternal loading” of Warface. with "crash"? There is one answer to both of these mistakes. First, you need to make sure that your Internet connection is stable and that there is no proxy. If you are using a router, try disabling the integrated firewall, and for owners of D-Link routers, you will have to update the firmware to the latest one and enable DMZ.

Other errors

  • When unpacking the archive with the game, an error appears "The files are damaged". Check your PC for viruses, then disable the antivirus (after cleaning, if necessary). Check your internet connection when downloading the game.
  • Textures disappear. The reason for this may be a weak video card (try updating the drivers) or insufficient RAM
  • It twitches during the game. This problem can be solved in several ways:
  1. Start => Control Panel => Mouse => “Pointer Options”, where you need to uncheck the “Enable increased pointer precision” menu item.
  2. If you play on a laptop, try disabling the touchpad.
  3. Disconnect other controllers from your PC (joysticks, gamepads, etc.).

This concludes the list of errors. If your problems with the game have not been resolved, and errors persistently haunt you with each new login, then try contacting technical support or the user forum, where perhaps someone has already encountered your problem and solved it.

In conclusion

All fans of free multiplayer battles should definitely enjoy Warface, because such games are rarely offered for free. Of course, like any other project, Warface sometimes annoys players with errors, and therefore if you have the following questions: “Why does Warface crash? Why does Warface glitch?” - then you will have to wait for patches, try to solve the problem personally (following our advice, for example) or contact technical support. However, you simply can’t ignore Warface - it’s too good.

Unfortunately, games have flaws: stutters, low FPS, crashes, freezes, bugs and other minor and not so minor errors. Often problems begin even before the game starts, when it does not install, does not load, or does not even download. And the computer itself sometimes does weird things, and then in Warface there’s a black screen instead of a picture, the controls don’t work, you can’t hear the sound or anything else.

What to do first

The second thing to do if you encounter any problems with Warface is to check the system requirements. In a good way, you need to do this before purchasing, so as not to regret the money spent.

Warface minimum system requirements:

Windows XP, Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0 Ghz, 2 Gb RAM, 6 Gb HDD, Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 256 Mb

Every gamer should have at least a little understanding of components, know why a video card, processor and other things are needed system unit.

Files, drivers and libraries

Almost every device in a computer requires a set of special software. These are drivers, libraries and other files that ensure the correct operation of the computer.

You should start with the drivers for your video card. Modern graphic cards are produced only by two large companies - Nvidia and AMD. Having found out which product drives the coolers in the system unit, we go to the official website and download the latest driver package:

A prerequisite for the successful functioning of Warface is the availability of the latest drivers for all devices in the system. Download the utility Driver Updater to download easily and quickly latest versions drivers and install them with one click:

If Warface does not start, we recommend that you try disabling your antivirus or putting the game in antivirus exceptions, and also check compliance again system requirements and if something from your assembly does not correspond, then, if possible, improve your PC by purchasing more powerful components.

Warface has a black screen, a white screen, and a color screen. Solution

Problems with screens different colors can be roughly divided into 2 categories.

Firstly, they often involve using two video cards at once. For example, if your motherboard has a built-in video card, but you play on a discrete one, then Warface may launch for the first time on the built-in one, but you will not see the game itself, because the monitor is connected to a discrete video card.

Secondly, color screens occur when there are problems with displaying images on the screen. This can happen for various reasons. For example, Warface cannot work through an outdated driver or does not support the video card. Also, a black/white screen may appear when working at resolutions that are not supported by the game.

Warface crashes. At a specific or random moment. Solution

You play for yourself, play and then - bam! - everything goes out, and now you have a desktop in front of you without any hint of a game. Why is this happening? To solve the problem, you should try to figure out what the nature of the problem is.

If a crash occurs at a random moment in time without any pattern, then with a 99% probability we can say that this is a bug of the game itself. In this case, it is very difficult to fix something, and it is best to just put Warface aside and wait for the patch.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash.

However, if you know exactly at what moments the crash occurs, then you can continue the game, avoiding situations that provoke a crash. In addition, you can download a Warface save and bypass the crash site.

Warface freezes. The picture freezes. Solution

The situation is approximately the same as with crashes: many freezes are directly related to the game itself, or rather to the developer’s mistake when creating it. However, often a frozen picture can become a starting point for investigating the deplorable state of a video card or processor.

So if the picture freezes in Warface, then use programs to display statistics on component loading. Perhaps your video card has long exhausted its working life or the processor is heating up to dangerous temperatures?

The easiest way to check the load and temperatures for the video card and processors is in the MSI Afterburner program. If you wish, you can even display these and many other parameters on top of the Warface image.

What temperatures are dangerous? Processors and video cards have different operating temperatures. For video cards they are usually 60-80 degrees Celsius. For processors it is slightly lower - 40-70 degrees. If the processor temperature is higher, then you should check the condition of the thermal paste. It may have already dried out and needs to be replaced.

If the video card is heating up, then you should use a driver or an official utility from the manufacturer. It is necessary to increase the number of revolutions of the coolers and check whether it decreases operating temperature.

Warface is slow. Low FPS. Frame rate drops. Solution

If there are slowdowns and low frame rates in Warface, the first thing to do is lower the graphics settings. Of course, there are many of them, so before reducing everything, it’s worth finding out exactly how certain settings affect performance.

Screen resolution. In short, this is the number of points that make up the game picture. The higher the resolution, the higher the load on the video card. However, the increase in load is insignificant, so you should reduce the screen resolution only as a last resort, when everything else no longer helps.

Texture quality. Typically, this setting determines the resolution of texture files. You should reduce the texture quality if the video card has a small amount of video memory (less than 4 GB) or if you are using a very old one. hard drive, whose spindle speed is less than 7200.

Model quality(sometimes just detailing). This setting determines which set of 3D models will be used in the game. The higher the quality, the more polygons. Accordingly, high-poly models require more processing power from the video card (not to be confused with the amount of video memory!), which means this parameter should be reduced on video cards with low core or memory frequencies.

Shadows. They are implemented in different ways. In some games, shadows are created dynamically, that is, they are calculated in real time at every second of the game. Such dynamic shadows load both the processor and the video card. For optimization purposes, developers often abandon full rendering and add pre-rendered shadows to the game. They are static, because essentially they are just textures overlaid on top of the main textures, which means they load memory, and not the video card core.

Often developers add additional settings related to shadows:

  • Shadow Resolution - Determines how detailed the shadow cast by an object will be. If the game has dynamic shadows, it loads the video card core, and if a pre-created render is used, then it “eats” the video memory.
  • Soft shadows - smooths out unevenness in the shadows themselves, usually this option is given along with dynamic shadows. Regardless of the type of shadows, it loads the video card in real time.

Smoothing. Allows you to get rid of ugly corners on the edges of objects through the use of a special algorithm, the essence of which usually comes down to generating several images at once and comparing them, calculating the most “smooth” picture. There are many different anti-aliasing algorithms, which differ in the level of impact on the performance of Warface.

For example, MSAA works head-on, creating 2, 4 or 8 renders at once, so the frame rate is reduced by 2, 4 or 8 times, respectively. Algorithms like FXAA and TAA work a little differently, achieving a smooth image by calculating only the edges and using some other tricks. Thanks to this, they do not reduce performance as much.

Lighting. As with anti-aliasing, there are different algorithms for lighting effects: SSAO, HBAO, HDAO. They all use video card resources, but they do it differently depending on the video card itself. The fact is that the HBAO algorithm was promoted mainly on video cards from Nvidia (GeForce line), so it works best on “green” ones. HDAO, on the contrary, is optimized for video cards from AMD. SSAO is the simplest type of lighting; it consumes the least resources, so if Warface is slow, you should switch to it.

What to reduce first? Shadows, anti-aliasing and lighting effects tend to take the most work, so it's best to start there.

Gamers often have to optimize Warface themselves. Almost all major releases have various related forums where users share their ways to improve productivity.

One of them is a special program called WinOptimizer. It is made specifically for those who do not want to manually clean their computer of various temporary files, delete unnecessary registry entries and edit the startup list. WinOptimizer will do this itself and also analyze your computer to identify ways to improve performance in applications and games.

Warface is lagging. Large delay when playing. Solution

Many people confuse “brakes” with “lags,” but these problems have completely different causes. Warface slows down when the frame rate at which the image is displayed on the monitor decreases, and lags when the delay when accessing the server or any other host is too high.

That is why “lags” can only occur in online games. The reasons are different: bad network code, physical distance from servers, network congestion, incorrectly configured router, low speed Internet connections.

However, the latter happens least often. In online games, communication between client and server occurs through the exchange of relatively short messages, so even 10 MB per second should be enough.

There is no sound in Warface. I can't hear anything. Solution

Warface works, but for some reason does not sound - this is another problem that gamers face. Of course, you can play like this, but it’s still better to figure out what’s going on.

First you need to determine the scale of the problem. Where exactly is there no sound - only in the game or even on the computer? If only in a game, then perhaps this is due to the fact that the sound card is very old and does not support DirectX.

If there is no sound at all, then the problem is definitely in the computer settings. Perhaps the sound card drivers are installed incorrectly, or maybe there is no sound due to some specific error in our beloved Windows OS.

Warface controls don't work. Warface does not recognize the mouse, keyboard or gamepad. Solution

How to play if it is impossible to control the process? Problems with supporting specific devices are inappropriate here, because we're talking about about familiar devices - keyboard, mouse and controller.

Thus, errors in the game itself are practically excluded; the problem is almost always on the user's side. You can solve it in different ways, but, one way or another, you will have to contact the driver. Usually, when you connect a new device, the operating system immediately tries to use one of the standard drivers, but some models of keyboards, mice and gamepads are incompatible with them.

Thus, you need to find out the exact model of the device and try to find its driver. Devices from well-known gaming brands often come with their own software packages, since the standard Windows driver simply cannot ensure the correct operation of all functions of a particular device.

If you don’t want to search for drivers for all devices separately, you can use the program Driver Updater. It is intended for automatic search drivers, so you just need to wait for the scan results and download necessary drivers in the program interface.

Often, Warface slowdowns can be caused by viruses. In this case, it makes no difference how powerful the video card is in the system unit. You can scan your computer and clean it of viruses and other unwanted software using special programs. For example NOD32. The antivirus has proven itself with best side and have been approved by millions of users around the world.

ZoneAlarm is suitable for both personal use and small businesses, capable of protecting a computer running Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP from any attacks: phishing, viruses, malware, spyware and other cyber threats. New users are given a 30-day free trial.

Nod32 is an antivirus from ESET, which has received many awards for its contribution to security development. Versions of anti-virus programs are available on the developer’s website for both PCs and mobile devices; a 30-day trial version is provided. There are special conditions for business.

Warface downloaded from a torrent does not work. Solution

If the game distribution was downloaded via torrent, then in principle there can be no guarantees of operation. Torrents and repacks are almost never updated through official applications and do not work over the network, because in the process of hacking, hackers cut out all network functions from games, which are often used to verify the license.

Using such versions of games is not only inconvenient, but even dangerous, because very often many files in them have been changed. For example, to bypass protection, pirates modify the EXE file. At the same time, no one knows what else they do with it. Perhaps they embed self-executing software. For example, when the game is first launched, it will integrate into the system and use its resources to ensure the well-being of hackers. Or, giving access to the computer to third parties. There are no guarantees here and cannot be.

In addition, the use of pirated versions is, in the opinion of our publication, theft. The developers spent a lot of time creating the game, invested their own funds in the hope that their brainchild will pay off. And every work must be paid.

Therefore, if any problems arise with games downloaded from torrents or hacked using one or another means, you should immediately remove the pirated version, clean your computer with an antivirus and a licensed copy of the game. This will not only protect you from dubious software, but will also allow you to download updates for the game and receive official support from its creators.

Warface gives an error about a missing DLL file. Solution

As a rule, problems associated with the lack of DLLs arise when launching Warface, but sometimes the game can access certain DLLs during the process and, not finding them, crash in the most blatant manner.

To fix this error, you need to find the required DLL and install it on the system. The easiest way to do this is using the program DLL-fixer, which scans the system and helps quickly find missing libraries.

If your problem turns out to be more specific or the method outlined in this article did not help, then you can ask other users in our “” section. They will help you quickly!

Thank you for your attention!

Work is work, but I also like to relax and play. I won’t say that I’m an avid gamer and it usually lasts me for a day or two. However, a couple of months ago I found a good shooting game, in some sense similar to Counter-Strike. Called WarFace. I was playing and everything would be fine, but suddenly crashes began to occur during the game, namely during missions the client lost the connection to the server, which was reported by three monitors with a red cross between them...

The most interesting thing was that I was thrown into the game menu, and not from it, and I could immediately connect to the game again, although losing all the accumulated points and frags.

I was guilty of a bad connection, however ping, tracert And speedtest They assured me that everything was OK with the connection. I scored on WarFace for a couple of days, in the hope that it would go away on its own or the developers would tweak the servers, but when I returned, the problems did not disappear.

After spending some time Googling, I suddenly thought, maybe the problem is with the wifi router?

Here it should be noted that two communication channels are connected to my PC, the first 1 Gbit/s channel directly to the server, second 100 Mbit/s to a wifi router, which in turn is connected to a server (and the server already acts as a gateway).

So, having checked tracert I discovered that the packets actually go through the router. Well, the channel through the router is only needed so that I can log into its control panel, so by turning it off I won’t lose anything. No sooner said than done. I check the trace to the game servers again (or to the website, it doesn’t matter):

tracert wf.mail.ru

tracert wf. mail. ru

and made sure that now the packets go through the channel that goes directly to the server, bypassing the router. I launch the game and the lags disappear!!!

That's the news, the premonition did not disappoint. Now googling the keyword " warface router setup", I ended up in a forum thread: "Solving the problem with crashes" there they advise adding your IP to the DMZ:

I looked in my firmware DD-WRT, there is also a similar thing:

I don’t know how effective this solution is - I didn’t bother with it, I was happy with the method in which I simply disconnect the interface to the router.

I made this decision because... I don't have a router Dlink, A LinkSys, accordingly, the reason may be something else, but there is no time for testing yet..

Of course, you can also register the IP of the servers so that the packets go through the desired subnet (for this you can use the command route), but I'm too lazy for now :)

CONCLUSION: If you have the same problems and the Internet comes to you through a wi-fi router and not through a wire, the first thing I advise you to check is how much the picture will change when connected directly with a wire, without a router.

If this did not help you and you solved the problem in another way, write about it in the comments and help others!

Visual diagram of what I did:

Green and blue are wires. Those. two channels were connected to the PC, through which you can receive the same Internet from the server.

When downloading, a message appears stating that “the files are damaged” or “waiting for distribution availability” or the download simply freezes at a certain point:

Check your Internet connection and whether antivirus software is blocking downloads from mail.ru servers.

If any of the above errors occur, restart the game center and start downloading again. Also check in advance whether there is free space on your computer’s hard drive.

If you downloaded Warface from a torrent, or copied it from a friend, and the game center requires you to install the game, check that the path specified in the settings to your downloaded distribution is correct.

This happens when game servers are overloaded, as well as when unstable internet. You should wait and try again later.

Problem with downloading:

check if the game distribution is correct. It should only be downloaded using the official loader, also called the game center. Download it.

Starting the game

If warface does not start for you, there may be several reasons, and almost everything can be solved.

What to do first:

  • Reinstall or update directX to the latest version
  • update drivers - for processor, motherboard, video card.
  • For video cards from Nvidia - update or install the Physics-X application.
  • Check path is correct installed client. The path must be written in Latin characters, Cyrillic is not recommended.
  • In the properties of the warface shortcut, try different launch modes (run as admin, etc.)

Error Failed to initialize the GameStartup Interface (it is not possible to initialize the game interface)

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\My Games\Warface
and delete the game.cfg file. Completely close the game client and start again.

Game version mismatch - restart Game Center and let it update.

When you enter the game, a blank window opens with an “accept” button - check ports 5222 and 60000 - they should be available. Try turning off all other running programs, perhaps they are occupying the necessary ports.

The video card is not supported - check if all hardware meets the minimum configuration?

It crashes immediately after launch - check your Internet connection, you should not use a proxy server, if you have one - disable and restart warface.

Problems while playing

The "warface" program has stopped working - the game crashes to the desktop.

try deleting the ModelsCache folder from the profile folder of the game client.

To do this, follow these steps:
- press win+r;
- enter the path* to the Warface profile folder and press Enter;
- completely delete the ModelsCache folder.

*If you are using the Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system, enter the following path: %userprofile%\Saved Games\My Games\Warface
If you are using Windows XP, you must enter %userprofile%\My Documents\My Games\Warface

After deleting the folder, launch the game again.

Textures disappear or glitch:

Update the drivers for your video card, set all settings to minimum and gradually increase until glitches appear.

Also, the cause of glitchy textures may be CATALYST Control Center from Radeon. Go to settings and disable everything related to graphics modification in applications.

Also, do not forget to check the temperature of the processor and video card, for example with the hwmonitor program.

The connection to the server is lost - the Internet has dropped out, or if the error is repeated constantly - your router (modem) is faulty. The firmware should be updated and configured according to the instructions from the manufacturers.

The application is not running because it is not configured correctly - you have a problem with the Microsoft .NET Framework - update or reinstall the application.

Failed to initialize - reinstalling the game will help you.

The mouse twitches and disobeys - You should go to Start -> Control Panel -> Mouse and go to the “Pointer Options” tab. Uncheck the “Enable increased pointer accuracy” checkbox and voila! Everything works well :)

Errors related to third-party applications:

Banfdicam, fraps and other programs should be launched BEFORE starting the game.

If you have any questions or problems, ask them in the comments! We will help you!

Unfortunately, many players often have problems with the game crashing. Most often this happens in PVP battles, but the problem can manifest itself in other modes. Players simply see the following message:

According to the developers, they have already collected all necessary information from users who submitted their error data and are now busy active identification reasons for departures.

Reasons for departures

So far we can name a few of the most probable causes such departures and ways to solve them:

  • Weak system
  • Outdated drivers
  • Cache problems
  • Network problems

Weak system

Most likely one of your computer components does not match necessary game conditions, it could be a weak video card or an outdated processor. Teach that the computer needs to be updated so that there are no distortions in performance, you should have the most balanced system.
If you have laptops with hybrid video cards, then your game may be running from an integrated processor chip that is very weak and not designed for 3D games. You can make sure that games run through a powerful video card in the settings of your drivers.

Outdated drivers

Drivers for various devices are updated very often, and often users do not have time to update them regularly, as a result of which situations arise that your system becomes hostage to the software that controls the operation of the video card and other devices.
In order to constantly update all your drivers, you can install special programs that batch update drivers for all your devices; such programs significantly simplify your life and should save you from many problems.

Cache problems

It is possible that the crashes are due to the fact that your game models were cached incorrectly. If other methods do not help, then along the path C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\My Games\Warface, find the ModelsCache folder and delete it, it is better to do this immediately after the next game crash.

Network problems

  • One of the reasons for game crashes may be an unstable internet connection. In order to make sure that your connection meets the required minimum, check its quality on the speedtest website, and you can also verify this using the ping command in the console.
  • Also, one of the reasons may be a direct connection of the router to the computer, but receiving the Internet via wi-fi. If you have a similar situation, then simply unplug the cable from the computer and everything should work.

These were the main problems that may prevent you from enjoying the game, but all crashes are individual. If you are unable to solve the problem yourself, then write about it in the comments, we will definitely help.

Warface is a popular multiplayer online shooter game. Over the several years of its existence, it attracted the attention of an audience of millions, but gained real popularity exclusively in Russia. In 2015, the largest championship was held between the best teams in the game with a large prize fund, which ensured a steady influx of new players into Warface.

However, despite the popularity and regular updates, many users experience difficulties, if not with installing the game, then with gameplay. One of the most sensational issues on the World Wide Web has been problems with crashes. Why are players kicked out of Warface every 5 minutes? We will look at the answer to this question in today's guide.

Lost connection to server

Lost connection to the server is one of the most common problems that players encounter during crashes. This means that problems arose during the exchange of data between the game server and the user’s personal computer. In most cases, the problem lies in the incorrect operation of network equipment.

Solution:

  • reboot your network equipment. It's best to turn it off for a few minutes and restart it;
  • if you are using Wi-Fi, try connecting directly;
  • close other applications, programs and games that require Internet resources (torrent clients, Steam and others);
  • Using USB modems means problems with the Internet connection while playing.

You are excluded by the security system

You are kicked out by the security system - this is a bug in the security system that automatically kicks users out during combat. As a rule, the function helps developers fight violators, but over the past few months it has also worked on honest players.

Solution:

  • check the client for file integrity. Launch the game center and, going to the Warface tab, click the “Game Control” button. In the menu that appears there will be an option to check and restore files of the installed game client;
  • Check your hard drive for errors. To check, open the dialog box (Start - Run) and enter cmd. On the command line, enter the command chkdsk C: /f, where C is the drive letter. If the disk is a system disk, confirm rebooting the system and wait until the check is completed;
  • when using RaidCall, disable the overlay function;
  • Uncheck the box next to “Continue distributing after downloading” in the game center settings.

Automatic game completion

It often happens that the game just crashes without errors or any notifications. In such cases, it is worth conducting a comprehensive check of the personal computer and the game client to identify the problem.

Solution:

  • reinstall the game, disabling the firewall and antivirus. This will help exclude the game client from the list of problems;
  • check your hard drive for viruses, as they may be blocking the connection;
  • reinstall the drivers for the video card and motherboard, as well as DirectX. Drivers are often the main cause of problems with games or programs;
  • Check the temperature of the video card and CPU while gaming. If the temperature is too high, the power supply automatically cuts off the power supply to prevent the consequences of overheating.

Technical support

If the above methods did not help identify and solve game crash problems, we strongly recommend writing to technical support specialists. Experts will help you get rid of crashes from the game and explain what caused them.

The Crytek studio was previously known to all gamers for games such as Crysis, Far Cry and Rome. But at the beginning of 2012, the developers introduced Warface, a multiplayer online shooter. The game immediately became popular not only in the CIS, but throughout the world. It is worth noting that the game is distributed under a Free-to-play license, which means that anyone can download it absolutely free. Well, let's get down to business and look at the main bugs that can cause problems with the game.

Minimum hardware requirements:

  • Windows XP/Vista
  • Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 4.5 GB free space on your hard drive
  • Video card with 256 MB
  • Internet access

Does your system fit these parameters, but still have some glitches? Then move on to the next points.

Warface crashes while loading

The official forum says that this problem occurs among those who use Avast or Comodo antivirus programs. There may also be problems when using Fraps. Accordingly, if you really use any of this software, then simply disable it and try to start the game again.

Error "Failed to initialize the GameStartup Interface!"

To get rid of this bug, you need to reset your settings. But since Warface does not start, the solution is not so obvious. We need to manually delete the game.cfg configuration file, which is located in the %USERNAME%\Saved Games\My Games\Warface (Win Vista / 7) or %USERNAME%\My Documents\My Games\Warface (Win XP) folder.

Game freezes and very low FPS

If you have a laptop that has integrated and discrete video cards, then it is quite possible that Warface uses the built-in one, which is weaker. You need to make changes in your system settings so that games use only the discrete graphics card.

For those who have NVIDIA: open the “Control Panel” -> select “NVIDIA Control Panel” -> “Manage 3D Settings” -> open “Program Settings” -> click “Add” and select the exe file from the Bin32Release directory.

For those with ATI: right-click on the desktop -> select “Switchable graphics settings” -> go to “Other applications” and click “Select” -> find and click on the Game.exe file, which is located in the Bin32Release folder .

Most likely, this will remove the lags and you will be able to play comfortably. But if you don't have a laptop, then you need to set the mappings. How to do it:

  1. When the game is running, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete
  2. In the task manager, go to the “Processes” tab
  3. Find Game.exe there and right-click on it
  4. In the context menu, select “Set Match”
  5. Then in the window that appears, uncheck all the boxes and leave only one (any)

After all the steps have been completed, you can close the task manager and return to the game. FPS should increase and stuttering should disappear.

Error “There is already an application running. Cannot start another one!

It’s easy to guess that the system notifies you that Warface is already running, although this is not the case. You need to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and in the task manager in the “Processes” section, terminate Game.exe. After this, the game will launch without problems.

Other errors

Note that Crytek is constantly working to improve the game and release new updates. Sometimes it happens that Warface starts to crash after an update. Don’t worry, 99% of the time the problem is not in your system but in the new patch. You just have to wait until the new one comes out and update.

It also happens with connection problems. Sometimes the servers are unstable, which is why many players are unable to connect. Wait a while and you will be able to play again.
