The tragedy of the family of a deputy of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly on August 14, 2016, went far beyond the borders of St. Petersburg. However, Anastasia left the hospital for her parents’ apartment. There she died, falling from the window of the back staircase on the 12th floor of a residential complex on the corner of Butlerov and Vernost streets on her 22nd birthday.

On the night of November 24-25, she wrote on Facebook: “I have now arrived home, to my home, to my parents. At first it was hard, I was waiting for them, but now it’s good, Lunka (the dog - author) and I are sitting in their room. Smells like mom and dad." She wrote reservedly about her upcoming birthday: “I want gold chain with the letter C: Soltan, Svetlana, Fortitude. This will be my amulet. I would like to go to a cafe in a dress and sit with good people, but I was isolated, and they wanted to go with Olesya to our beloved Dima Bilan.”

The story with Anastasia’s sister Veronica deserves special attention. It was she who insisted that the girl remain in rehabilitation so that in the future she could walk without crutches, so she refused to give her sister the keys to her parents’ apartment.

But Nastya desperately wanted to get out of the hospital, and eventually ran away and came to Veronica, accompanied by journalists. “They didn’t want to give her the keys to the apartment because of her unstable condition,” Anastasia’s friend Tatyana Novik emphasized in a conversation with MK. “On the other hand, Nastya was released from the hospital; no one could have thought that she would behave this way.”

Tatyana notes that if the girl had stayed in the hospital, as her sister insisted, the tragedy would have been avoided. But due to several emotional accusations thrown by her sister against Veronica, the girl began to receive accusatory messages - she even had to delete her page on the social network.

It’s a shame that no one suggested the right solution to Nastya.

THREE DEATHS IN THREE MONTHS

Just recently it was a friendly and happy family: Pavel Mikhailovich Soltan, vice-speaker of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, his wife Svetlana, their common daughter Nastya and Svetlana’s daughter from her first marriage Veronica.

At three months, three of the four died. On August 14, Pavel Soltan crashed in an accident on the Vyborg highway, and his wife died a few hours later.

This is where one curious nuance surfaced: the court decision comes into force after 10 days. That is, in legal terms, at the time of Anastasia’s death, she was still... married!

This means that her husband is the legal heir.

WANTED TO SELL AN APARTMENT?

According to KP, Nastya owned ½ share in the apartment on Butlerova - or rather, even 56 percent. The apartment is quite large - four rooms, almost 90 square meters. The location is extremely good: two minutes from the Akademicheskaya metro station. Yes, not the center - but also not new residential areas beyond the ring road.

According to experts, such an apartment costs about 10 million rubles. Apparently, Veronica began to think about this immediately after the death of her mother and stepfather.

As those surrounded by her family told KP, she and her husband Vyacheslav Koltsov changed the locks in the apartment even before the funeral. Nastya was lying on the operating table at that moment, and her parents were in the morgue.

For what? The fact is that Nastya and Alexei lived in the apartment together with Pavel and Svetlana. Veronica was not happy with this.

Veronica's husband Slava told Alexei: they say, you married Pavel Mikhailovich, and not Nastya, there will be nothing of yours here! – a family friend, who asked not to give his name, told Komsomolskaya Pravda.

According to him, Veronica and Vyacheslav Koltsov were seriously afraid that Nastya would ask to exchange the apartment in order to buy a separate home for herself. The amount would be quite enough for a two-room apartment in this area.
