Motoblock neva mb 1 technical characteristics of belts. Neva walk-behind tractor with mounted implements to help the gardener

Mechanization agriculture serves as the main direction of development of the agricultural policy of any state. For mechanized tillage, the Luch MB-1 walk-behind tractor is very popular.

The unit is a prominent representative of reliable and durable Soviet-made equipment. To perform various tasks, the unit is equipped with additional tools.

Manufacturers and production history of "Luch MB-1"

The first production model of the Soviet walk-behind tractor rolled off the assembly line of the Perm production association “Motorostroitel” named after Ya. M. Sverdlov” in 1985.

During the production of the walk-behind tractor, it appeared large number modifications of this technique. The main difference between each of them is the power plant and attachments produced by Russian and foreign manufacturers.

Since 1991, the unit has been produced joint stock company Kaluga Engine (JSC CADVI). From 2011 to the present day, the equipment is produced under the name “Oka”.

Design of the Luch MB-1 walk-behind tractor

The main components of the device are:

  • Power unit.
  • Gearbox.
  • Clutch.
  • Control system.
  • Chassis.

Engine

The power plant for the Luch MB-1 is a single-cylinder four-stroke engine from domestic and foreign manufacturers.

Attention! When working with a walk-behind tractor, it is necessary to install protective covers and special wings. It is prohibited to operate equipment without protecting the main units and moving elements.

Domestic modifications use motors of the DM and CADVI 168F-2A series produced by Kaluga Engine JSC. The power of the power plants ranges from 4.4 to 4.8 kW.

Foreign models use power plants manufactured by INTEK, TECUMSEH and Vanguard (USA), Honda and Subaru (Japan), Lianlong and Lifan (China). The motor power ranges from 4.0 to 5.2 kW.

Gearbox

The gearbox of the Luch MB-1 equipment is designed to convert the rotational movement of the engine shaft to the wheels (cultivator). The device is equipped with a two-speed chain reducer.

Attention! The gearbox is initially filled with the required amount of oil. Additional filling is carried out after 25–30 hours of operation of the unit.

For uniform transmission of rotational motion, a shaft unlocking mechanism is installed. The presence of this mechanism increases the maneuverability of the device on straight and curved sections with a load of up to 350 kg and speeds of up to 12 km/h.

Clutch block

The system is designed to transfer rotation from the engine crankshaft to the gear sprockets. Allows you to move forward and backward. The clutch is controlled by a lever on the handle.

Control system

Designed to change the modes of action, speed and direction of movement of a mechanical device. Consists of a steering wheel, control levers and gear shift knob.

A motor control lever is installed on the right handle of the steering wheel. The left handle has gear shift levers. The steering wheel height is adjusted using a nut connection.

Chassis

Wheels or a cultivator are installed as elements of the Luch MB-1 chassis. Wheels can be pneumatic or solid rubber. They are designed to move the mechanism on a flat surface. For better traction, stamped steel wheels (lugs) are used.

A cultivator is used to loosen the soil and remove weeds. The device is equipped with two soil cutters and two cultivators based on bolted connection. Installed on the output shaft of the gearbox instead of wheels.

The procedure for working with a walk-behind tractor

The procedure for operating and servicing the mechanism depends on the type of chassis used.

Vehicle on wheeled chassis

When working with the Luch MB-1 mechanism, the following procedure must be followed:

  • Set the gear shift lever to the middle (neutral) position.
  • The power unit is started.

The starting method depends on the modification of the walk-behind tractor.

  • At low gas, warm up the engine for 3-4 minutes.
  • Using the control levers, the required speed and direction of movement are activated.
  • To change gears, stop the walk-behind tractor, release the shift lever in the direction of movement and press the gear shift lever with slight force.
  • To stop the mechanism, move the engine control lever to the “Stop” position.

Attention! It is prohibited to simultaneously press the forward and reverse control levers. Failure to comply with this condition may lead to gearbox failure.

Apparatus with cultivator

Working with a cultivator involves adjusting its position depending on the category of cultivated land. To do this, the walk-behind tractor is installed in parallel earth's surface. Adjust the limiter for the penetration of the cultivator cutters into the soil.

Regardless of the soil category, the depth of burial should not exceed 20 cm - on sandy soils and 10 cm – on clay soils and loams. When loosening the soil, the unit covers a strip of land up to 1200 mm wide.

The Luch MB-1 walk-behind tractor is a universal tool. The lightweight unit is an indispensable assistant when cultivating virgin and arable lands.

To deliver tools and materials to the work site, a trailed trolley is used. Clearing snow in winter time years are carried out using additional attachments.

After watching the video of the walk-behind tractor in action, you catch yourself thinking about the need for this purchase. The fact is that tillage is a more serious set of works than it might seem to an inexperienced summer resident. Typically, work with land has a fairly diverse cycle: from the first plowing to harvesting. And all this work can be done not manually, but using excellent mechanized capabilities.

About the device

The walk-behind tractor is a tiny (relatively) single-axle tractor that allows you to operate a variety of attachments. Thanks to this, any process in the processing chain can be carried out. Walk-behind tractors most often have the same dimensions, differing only in small nuances, engine and wheel radius. The width of the tires is also important. This directly affects the speed, duration and quality of work. And all because some walk-behind tractors are designed exclusively for light work (most often they have less weight, they are more compact, most of them are called a walk-behind cultivator).

The choice of one or another product for your site depends on its size. There are walk-behind tractors different sizes Accordingly, the strip of soil processed at a time will also be different. It can be either 50 cm, 1 m or even 1.7 m. It is very important to know the characteristics of the future purchase in advance. Another serious nuance will be the possibility of replacing spare parts. For example, it is easier to repair a gearbox when the parts are removable. In this case, the walk-behind tractor will be cheaper to operate than with non-removable parts.

More details about the model

Let's consider, for example, one of the most popular walk-behind tractors - Neva. These are domestic units, which in some models are supplemented with imported engines. The first walk-behind tractor was developed back in the 80s. Since then, the device has mainly been improved, making it easier to work with. On at the moment The most common type of walk-behind tractor can be considered Neva MB-2. However, there is an earlier version - MB-1. This is a walk-behind tractor that is almost as good in terms of endurance and capabilities. It can also be a completely universal means of external ground work. all year round. After all, in the spring, with its help, you can easily prepare the soil for sowing, finish the sowing work at the beginning of summer, and then do additional manipulations with the soil, such as hilling. By the end of summer, Neva MB-1 will be useful for digging up root crops and preparing the soil for winter. But even in winter it will not stand idle. With its help, you can easily remove snow and ice, and also do a lot of other useful work.

Characteristics

The power of the Neva MB-1 is on average 5-6 horsepower. For a plot of up to 20 acres, this is more than enough. It can “accept” any attachment that is suitable for certain jobs.

The design of the Neva MB-1 is quite simple. This is a small unit on two wheels that has comfortable extended handles for support and guidance. There is also the necessary part for the hitch. With its help, you can easily hang lugs, cutters, harrows and other important tools on the device. The wheels are quite powerful, designed to take into account possible high soil moisture. Their protector has a pattern that allows the device to self-clean.

The MB-1 has a manual mechanical transmission. Has several speeds. As for the movement speed, it is usually no more than 6-12 km/h, which is very good when processing heavy soil in difficult conditions. This mini tractor can withstand high loads.

The engines are mostly gasoline, but there is also a diesel engine. By the way, it should be noted that for light soils a gasoline engine is quite sufficient, while wet heavy soil requires more power, which a diesel engine can provide. This model does not have self-cooling. This is important nuance, which suggests that when performing work in very hot weather It is necessary to take a short break so that the engine does not overheat. This will extend the life of the device.

Instructions

In general, as reviews say, the MB-1 model, despite being relatively “not young,” is quite relevant and popular with many farmers. The maximum description, as well as all the capabilities of the device, can be found using the operating instructions. There are examples of attaching attachments, as well as recommendations for caring for equipment.

The operating instructions will allow you to determine the specific model and type of walk-behind tractor. The exact data is indicated there, for example, the band size of a particular device.

Another important thing is that for the Neva MB-1 you can make attachments with your own hands. To do this, just be smart and read useful information, which can be found in instructions, reviews, on forums and in thematic groups.

Basically, MB-1 models have a domestic engine, although it can easily be replaced with a Chinese, Japanese or other one with similar characteristics. At the same time, the cost of the device is somewhat lower than, say, the MB-2, which has a Japanese engine installed. At the same time, MB-1 is perfect for small areas. It will help with any work and speed up your time on the field, which is sometimes also quite important.

And in conclusion, it is worth noting once again that the operating instructions for the Neva MB-1 are available in photos, videos and other materials. Also, by reading reviews, you can find many more useful nuances, get to know the walk-behind tractor from a different perspective, increasing the range of its capabilities.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The MB-1 walk-behind tractor is designed for work on personal plots with light soils in gardens and vegetable gardens for individual use in hayfields located in shallow forest and swampy areas in the suburban area.

The walk-behind tractor is small in size and easy to operate. A powerful and economical four-stroke engine allows you to use the walk-behind tractor for various agricultural work. Complete with mounted implements it can plow, loosen the soil, harrow, make and clear furrows, hill up and dig up root crops, mow grass, spray and water plants, transport loads and remove snow.

Working on a walk-behind tractor does not require special training, but it should be borne in mind that when working with each mounted implement, certain skills are required.

At the factory, the walk-behind tractor is equipped with a cultivator, which is designed to loosen and turn over the soil. When using other attachments for the walk-behind tractor, you must follow the additional instructions contained in the instruction manual for each attachment.

STARTING THE ENGINE

Fill the gas tank with clean A-76 gasoline.

The engine is equipped with a special manual starter.

Make sure you are at a sufficient distance from the rotating parts of the walk-behind tractor. Check that the power drive is disconnected before starting.

1. Open the gasoline tap.

2. Close the carburetor choke by turning its lever down to approximately a horizontal position.

3. Set the throttle lever to the middle position of the sector. Grasp the starter handle and pull sharply. If necessary, repeat these operations with less throttling. A warm engine does not require closing the air damper: set the throttle lever to the middle position, pull the starter handle.

4. After starting the engine, return it. the air damper to its previous position.

To stop the engine, move the throttle lever on the right handlebar to the “STOP” position.

The movement is controlled by two levers on the left handlebar: forward - lever A, back - lever B. When these levers are released, the walk-behind tractor stops instantly.

It is forbidden to press two levers at the same time, because the belts may burn out and the walk-behind tractor will fail.

When the clutch slips, it is adjusted by shortening the chain.

Changing the driving speed is done using the throttle control located on the right handle.

The chain gearbox has two gears: high and low. I - all the way in - low gear. II - middle position - neutral position. III - all the way out - high gear.

Stir the large pulley by hand when switching the handle to the desired position.

Switch over with the engine turned off. Before starting the engine, the shift knob must be in the neutral position.

SETTING THE REMOTE THROTTLE CONTROL

Set the throttle lever to the “STOP” position. Loosen clamping screw A. Move shell B until throttle lever B touches switch. The throttle lever must be in the “STOP” position. Tighten the clamp screw. Check the operation of the remote control by moving the throttle lever.

CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT

1. Screw in full throttle screw 1 and low throttle screw 2 until it stops.

2. Unscrew both screws 1 1/4 turns.

3. Start the engine and warm it up.

4. Set the throttle control lever to the position corresponding to the minimum speed (before turning off the engine), and use screw 3 to set the minimum stable idle speed.

5. Use screw 2 to set the maximum idle speed.

6. Use screw 3 to adjust the minimum stable idle speed.

7. Repeat the last two operations until stable, uninterrupted engine operation is achieved at idle speed at the lowest possible speed.

8. Move the throttle control lever to the maximum engine speed position.

9. In case of interruptions in engine operation, unscrew or tighten screw 1 at full throttle until stable operation is obtained (the total unscrewing of screw 1 from the fully screwed position should be no more than 2 3/4 turns).

AIR FILTER

The outer porous element B must be cleaned and oiled every 10 working hours or every day when working in dusty conditions.

Unscrew the top nut A, remove the cover B. Remove the porous element B from the dry element E. Wash the porous element in kerosene, gasoline or soapy water. Soak it in M12GI oil, squeeze out excess oil.

Wash dry element E in soapy water, then rinse clean water. Dry the element thoroughly in air. Assembly air filter do in reverse order.

A dry element must not be soaked in oil.

OIL CHANGE

The oil level in the engine crankcase should be checked every 5 hours of operation. Install the engine horizontally. The oil level should reach the level of the filling hole. If necessary, add oil.

Change the oil after the first 5 hours of operation. To fill the oil, place the engine horizontally. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the filler plug. Pour oil into the crankcase

M10GI or M12GI (capacity 1.3 liters). Close the plug. Then change the oil every 25 hours of operation. Start the engine

Before making repairs or servicing, disconnect the spark plug wire.

The gearbox of the walk-behind tractor is filled with 1.5 liters of transmission oil at the manufacturer’s factory in accordance with GOST 23652-79 (TAD-17I, TAP-15V, etc.). Check the oil level before starting the engine for the first time and each time before work. Turn the walk-behind tractor over so that the gearbox is in a horizontal position. In this position, the oil level should be slightly below the filling hole.

The oil in the gearbox is changed every 50 hours of operation, simultaneously with the oil change in the engine.

CHANGING THE BELT

Remove the cover covering the belts. Disassemble the belt guide B. Loosen the guide roller B, remove the reverse belt A. When changing the forward belt D, loosen the two screws d,

holding the guide plate. Pull the plate back and remove the belt. Assembly is carried out in reverse order. Do not overtighten the guide plate mounting screws since the motor body is made of aluminum alloy.

The spark plug should be cleaned and adjusted every 100 hours of operation. The distance between the electrodes should be 0.5. . .0.6 mm. After cleaning, rinse the spark plug with gasoline or solvent.

CLEANING THE COOLING SYSTEM

To avoid engine overheating and failure, it is necessary to regularly remove the fan housing and clean the engine fins of dirt.

FAULT IDENTIFICATION

The engine does not start.

Check:

Is there gasoline in the tank? Is there any air passage through the hole in the gas tank cap? Is the throttle working? Check the gap between the flywheel magnet and the stator, which should be 0.1. . . 0.15 mm. Is the spark plug damaged and connected?

The engine runs poorly.

Clean, rinse and dry the spark plug. Blow out the cylinder by turning the crankshaft several times with the starter. Place the spark plug in place. Check the spark plug.

Check the cleanliness of the cooling system.

Adjust the remote control system to maximum speed.

INSTALLATION OF CULTIVATORS

Remove the wheels from the output shaft of the gearbox and install cultivators in their place, securing them with clamps. The cutting edges of cultivators should be directed in the direction of movement of the walk-behind tractor.

OPERATION OF MOTOR-BLOCK WITH CULTIVATOR

Before starting to operate the walk-behind tractor, it is necessary to adjust it. Bad or incorrect setting causes great fatigue for the worker and reduces the quality of tillage.

The walk-behind tractor with the cultivator must be installed parallel to the ground.

The cultivator setup includes correct installation limiter of the depth of cultivation, which is carried out after selecting the working depth of soil cultivation. The depth of soil cultivation in one pass is 10. .15 cm. If deeper tillage is necessary, cultivation is carried out in 2. . .3 passes, each time increasing the depth of cultivation. At the same time, the structure of the soil becomes more homogeneous - crumbly, without lumps. Cultivation of rocky soil should be carried out with the maximum rotation speed of the cultivator blades to avoid their breakage.

When working, the cultivator should move easily, without effort.

When cultivating loose soil, the tillage depth limiter acts as a skid.

When cultivating hard soil, the tillage depth limiter acts as a brake and makes it possible to till the soil in layers.

Thanks to the powerful engine, soil cultivation can be carried out at medium throttle position. When operating, it is necessary to take into account the dependence of the throttle position and the use of high or low gear. When cultivating light soils, you can install up to 8 cultivator blades.

ATTENTION!

It is prohibited for unauthorized persons to be in the cultivator operating area. When turning a walk-behind tractor with a cultivator, it is necessary to maintain the same distance to the blades as when moving forward.

It is forbidden to move the walk-behind tractor towards you.

When transporting a walk-behind tractor from site to site, it is necessary to remove the cultivators.

The MB-1 walk-behind tractor is a device that replaces heavy manual labor. It is used on the farm for working with soil. The dimensions of the unit are small. It consists of an engine, a base, and also comes with attachments for the walk-behind tractor.

Description of the MB-1 walk-behind tractor

Motoblocks MB-1 are very popular in our country. They began to be produced in the 80s and are constantly being improved. Their traction class is 0.1, with additional and trailed equipment. This figure indicates the traction force of the vehicle.

If we consider that walk-behind tractors and mini-tractors are divided into 7 classes, then this unit is in the first row.

Attachments allow the motorized cultivator to plow the soil, hill it, loosen it, dig up root crops and rake grass. A trailer is used to transport various loads. The optimal cultivated area is 6-40 acres.

After purchasing the MB-1 unit, you need to carefully study all the recommendations presented, which are contained in the operating manual.

For the MB-1 cultivator, the characteristics are as follows:

  • The main part on which all units are mounted is the cylinder block.
  • Engine internal combustion- a gas distribution mechanism that controls gas flows. This mechanism consists of a camshaft and adjacent components (exhaust and intake valves).
  • The camshaft diameter is 30 mm, length is 280 mm.
  • The crank mechanism, the crank mechanism, ensures the rotational movement of the piston.
  • Fuel system - supplies and filters fuel from the tank and delivers it to the cylinders.
  • There is an ignition system to produce an electric spark.
  • A starting device that assists in starting the engine.
  • Cooling system that prevents engine overheating.

One of the manufacturers of the MB-1 Oka walk-behind tractor is the Kaluga Engine plant, located in Kaluga. It produces three variants of walk-behind tractors: A, B and C:

  1. Option A. Motoblock MB-1D1M 10.
  2. Option B. Motoblock MB-1D2M.
  3. Option B. Motoblock MB-1D3M.

Each of them has different engines:

  • MB-1D1(2, 3) M - DM 1M engine, power 8.0/5.9 (hp/kW);
  • MB-1D1(2, 3) M 1 - DM 1M engine, power 8.0/5.9 (hp/kW);

When working with the MB-1 motor cultivator, the operating instructions will help the farmer understand the main aspects of the unit’s operation.

There is another walk-behind tractor from a Chinese manufacturer, which is approved by our GOST. This is an MB-2 m walk-behind tractor. The engine power of the walk-behind tractor is 6.5 hp. It copes well with the ground and at the same time consumes little gasoline. In user reviews regarding the Chinese model, there are dissatisfaction with parts that are made not of metal, but of plastic. During intensive work there is one minus: the cutters often break and the starter cord breaks.

Also popular are Forza walk-behind tractors from the manufacturer UralBenzoTech, which produces advanced equipment, as well as spare parts and attachments. The basic model is the FZ-01-6.5F cultivator. They have a modern design, they are quite reliable and durable.

Carburetor of MB-1 walk-behind tractor

Let's look at the carburetor of the MB-1 walk-behind tractor. The device regulates the fuel supply to the engine and prepares the combustible mixture (mixing fuel with air). It is part of an internal combustion engine.

Why do you need to adjust the carburetor? A situation may arise when the walk-behind tractor begins to work unstably. This can happen if the unit long time was not used or, on the contrary, underwent heavy loads. In such a situation, you will need to adjust the carburetor, for which there are special instructions.

The carburetor must be adjusted in the following sequence:

  1. Tighten the full and low throttle screws all the way (without overdoing it), and then unscrew them one and a half turns.
  2. Start the engine and wait 10 minutes for it to warm up.
  3. Without turning off the engine, set the lever to minimum speed.
  4. Using the screw (throttle valve), which regulates the amount of fuel flowing, you need to achieve such a minimum idle speed at which the interruptions will stop.
  5. Adjust the throttle screw to maximum and then to minimum. This must be done until the motor starts working normally.
  6. Move the engine lever to gas.
  7. Set the throttle screw to a maximum of 2.5 turns.

The MB-1 walk-behind tractor has the following attachments:

  • Plow. Designed for plowing land.
  • Hiller. For trimming furrows.
  • Root digger.

MB-1 cultivator gearbox design

Let's look at the design of the gearbox of the MB-1 walk-behind tractor. This is a device responsible for rotation, movement from the engine to the wheels. The MB-1 walk-behind tractor gearbox is assembled in such a way that on its outer side there are elements responsible for changing gears. The gearbox has five positions. When pressed, the fork disengages the clutch. When reset, it returns to its original position.

When the drive is connected to the right side, the unit will stop. The rotation comes from the sprocket. When the handle catches the left sprocket, the gear is reduced. If maximum gear is desired, the handle is pulled out all the way.

Assembly and adjustment of the gearbox is carried out after repair or malfunction. Before the procedure, each part is inspected for damage and contamination.

Sometimes the engine on the MB-1 walk-behind tractor is replaced. This is done when you want to put imported engine for the domestic model. For this purpose, a kit is used, which includes a plate (platform, pulley), belt transmission, and a set of fasteners. There is an engine replacement diagram. Thanks to the drawings, it will be possible to easily cope with the replacement.

Old-style motor cultivators are also popular. The first Soviet walk-behind tractor, MB-1, is a very durable and reliable technique that was used for various purposes. They were produced on the basis of Soviet cultivators, which were quite durable.

One of largest producers motorcycle equipment for gardeners and gardeners in Russia and the CIS countries is the company "Red October - Neva". The company owes its leading position in the market to the Neva walk-behind tractor, the assembly of which the company mastered more than 10 years ago.

During its existence, “Neva” acquired a number of modifications and acquired a variety of attachments. Thanks to this, the walk-behind tractor is able to perform wide range work, both in soil cultivation and in livestock farming, on a small scale. It does this type technology is very popular in private farms.

The history of the creation of the Neva walk-behind tractor

The company "Red October - Neva" was founded in 2002 and is a subsidiary of OJSC "Red October". This machine-building plant begins its history back in 1891 in St. Petersburg.

At that time, the company worked in a young, developing industry, electrical engineering. Participated in the construction of the first power plant of the same name in the union. At the end of the 20s, after a merger with the Zinoviev motorcycle plant, the production of automobile spare parts and L-300 motorcycles began.

Since 1940, “Red October” began working for the aviation industry, and the company continues its activities in this direction to this day. Aviation and rocket engines, as well as their components, for such famous machines as the Yak series of combat aircraft, K-50 and K-52 helicopters were and are produced in the workshops of this enterprise.

In parallel with the aviation industry, the plant over the years of its existence has developed and produced more than 10 million engines for mopeds and motorbikes. In 1985, he mastered the production of mini agricultural machinery represented by the hero of our story, the Neva walk-behind tractor.

The walk-behind tractor received its modern rebirth in 2002, when a specialized subsidiary, Red October - Neva, was created. Now the company is engaged in the development and production of 4-stroke engines, walk-behind tractors, cultivators and attachments.

Technical characteristics of the Neva walk-behind tractor

Motoblocks "Neva" have gained popularity among the population, primarily for their reliability and build quality; the percentage of defects at the enterprise does not exceed 1.5%. The machine has good stock durability, thanks to quality materials and high-tech methods their processing.

The device has 2 forward speeds and 1 reverse, there is also a lower row, for this you will have to transfer the belt to another pulley. Travel speed from 1.8 to 12 km/h. The heaviest model produced weighs 115 kg, and the weight of the transported cargo can be up to 400 kg.

Engine of the Neva walk-behind tractor

To complete its walk-behind tractors, the Red October – Neva company uses DM-1K engines made in Kaluga and engines of famous world brands “Honda”, “Subaru”, “Briggs&Stratton” of various power.

Gearbox of the Neva walk-behind tractor

The Neva gearbox is gear-chain, sealed, in an oil bath, and is distinguished by its reliable design. Lightweight and durable body made of aluminum. Such a gearbox develops a force exceeding 180 kgf and is capable of ensuring reliable operation on all types of soils.

A nice addition is the axle decoupling mechanism, which allows you to direct the drive to only one wheel, thereby greatly facilitating control.

Transmission of the Neva walk-behind tractor

Torque from the engine to the gearbox is transmitted using a V-belt drive with a tension roller. This design is time-tested, not expensive to implement, simple and reliable. If the walk-behind tractor during operation encounters an obstacle with the working elements of the hitch, the belt will simply begin to slip, thereby protecting the engine and gearbox elements from damage.

Review of models of walk-behind tractors "Neva"

All modifications of the MB-2 walk-behind tractor differ essentially only in the installed engine. Otherwise, the design remains unchanged, only minor modifications are possible.

Main modifications:

  • MB-2K– the letter K in the name means that this model is equipped with engines of domestic Kaluga production “DM-1K” of various powers. Semi-professional 6.5 hp and professional with a cast iron sleeve 7.5 hp.
  • MB-2B– here the letter after the two indicates that the walk-behind tractor is equipped with professional power plants Briggs & Stratton. These engines are also divided into semi-professional and sleeved professional with the prefix PRO in the name. Models power 6; 6.5; 7.5 hp
  • MB-2S– this modification is powered by engines from the famous Japanese company “Subaru”. These are reliable, professional, overhead camshaft units EX-17D 6hp. and EX-21D 7hp
  • MB-2N– with a Honda engine with a power of 5.5 and 6.5 hp. These engines use the most modern developments of the legendary Honda, have excellent efficiency and high torque. Thanks to this, despite the low power, they ensure durable and reliable operation of the entire unit.
  • MB-23- series heavy walk-behind tractors with powerful 8 to 10 hp. engines. In the name, the letter after the numbers, just like the middle ones, indicates the engine manufacturer - “Subaru”, “Honda”, “Briggs & Stratton”. The machines are designed for long-term, intensive work on any type of soil, the cultivation depth of which, on these machines, is increased to 32 cm.

Particularly noteworthy is the only model MD-23SD with a Subaru diesel engine with a power of 5.5 and 7 hp. Despite the low power, due to the fact that it is a diesel engine, the model is the most powerful among the MB-23 line.

Attachments for walk-behind tractors "Neva"

For soil cultivation cutters are installed on the Neva walk-behind tractor instead of wheels. Their number, depending on the type of soil, can reach eight pieces. IN basic kit Includes 4 cutters, additional cutters must be purchased separately.

For plowing using a walk-behind tractor, you will have to purchase a plow and a special hitch-mount. You will also need metal wheels with lugs for better traction with the soil.

For hilling single-row and double-row hillers are used, which can also be divided into unregulated and adjustable. It is necessary to choose a hiller based on the quality and composition of the soil. Metal wheels of increased diameter with lugs are used with hillers; this allows increasing the agrotechnical clearance.

To mechanize potato planting using the Neva walk-behind tractor, it is recommended to use potato planters KS-1, KS-1A, KST-. This not only facilitates the planting process itself, but also creates necessary conditions for further inter-row processing and harvesting using attachments. This is facilitated by an even planting and fixed row spacing. The average productivity of such planters is 0.2-0.25 hectares per hour, the distance between tubers is maintained at 25-30 cm, and the width between the rows is adjusted by the track of the unit within 60-70 cm.

There are two types of potato diggers for the walk-behind tractor we are considering:
fan and vibrating (screen type). The use of both is quite justified in small areas and fully cope with their responsibilities.

  • Fan diggers for deepening and cutting the soil have a solid metal knife at the base, and metal rods fan out from the knife. The layer of earth raised with a knife is sifted through the rods, and the potatoes are retained and rise to the surface. The productivity of this type of digger is approximately 0.15 hectares per hour.
  • Vibrating or screening potato diggers. The main working elements of such a mounted machine are: a ploughshare and a vibrating grid for sifting the soil. The ploughshare lifts the soil with potatoes onto the grid, and the grid with a belt drive from the walk-behind tractor sifts the soil, leaving clean potatoes on the surface. For Neva it is recommended to use models KKM-1, KMU-3, KK-6 and others. The average productivity of such equipment is approximately 0.2 hectares per hour.

Mowers for the Neva walk-behind tractor also come in two types:

  • Segmental, with cutting knives made of hardened durable steel, moving forward in a horizontal plane. In the best possible way work on flat surfaces, with cereals, evenly standing grasses. For example, the KN-1.1 mower, the cutting width reaches 110 cm, and the productivity is approximately 0.35 hectares per hour.
  • Rotary- V lately are becoming increasingly popular, displacing segmented mowers from the market. The working elements here are knives mounted on a rotating disk. Such mowers are not afraid of small uneven surfaces, and thick grass and small bushes are also not an obstacle. Kaluga mower "Zarya" and "Neva-KR-05" produced by the company "Red October - Neva" vivid examples of this family.

Especially for the Neva, the SMB-1 auger snow blower is produced at the plant that is native to the walk-behind tractor. The auger is designed in such a way that snow moves from the edges to the middle, to the nozzle. The direction of snow ejection is adjusted by turning the snow blower screen, and skids on the body adjust the cleaning height.

The utility rotary brush is used primarily for removing debris. The 90 cm wide gripper can be installed at an angle of up to 90 degrees. Maximum productivity up to 2200 m/2.

Cart trailer – the load capacity of such a cart reaches 400 kg. Equipped with a driver's seat, brakes and a reliable hitch.
