This technique is very useful in portrait and product photography, because you can correctly place accents in the photo without any problems.

The application offers several ways to select areas: the standard Instagram radial and linear ones, the lasso tool familiar to Photoshop users, and also simply manual mode, in which you work with a brush. Blur can be adjusted either with the slider or by changing the virtual aperture - the “hole” values range from f/3.5 to f/1.8.

Unlike similar tools on Instagram or Snapseed, Big Lens algorithms produce smoother and more accurate results. Therefore, I recommend the application to everyone who wants to get a beautiful and not very catchy background blur in portraits or in product photography. And in general, experiment!
