What can you call these trees in one word?

Deciduous.

Bushes and trees, leaves on branches.

This is a deciduous forest, remember, kids.

1st grade page 19

Task: label yellow deciduous trees.

What do deciduous trees have in common?

These trees have leaves that look like plates.

Norway spruce

Scots pine

How can you call these trees in one word?

Conifers

How coniferous trees different from deciduous ones?

Coniferous trees have needles instead of leaves.

What are needles?

The needles are also leaves, only of a special shape - long and narrow. They are able to survive the winter because there is enough

durable. The waxy skin prevents the needles from drying out. The needles also provide the tree with winter a small amount food.

If there are needles instead of leaves, Then call this forest coniferous.

Workbook on "The world around us" 1st grade page 19

Task: label green coniferous trees.

Coniferous trees are called "evergreens".

Why?

Interpretation of the word " eternal"

  • Infinite in time.
  • Never ceasing to exist.
  • Constant, unchanging.

Hypothesis.

In coniferous trees, the needles do not change; they live as long as the tree.

Let's go for a walk for the answer into a coniferous forest.

Our hypothesis was not confirmed. Coniferous trees change their needles, but not all at once, but gradually.

Spruce needles change through

Pine needles change through

2 – 3 years.

6 – 7 years old.

Practical work.

Observation 1. Consider the general appearance of pine and spruce.

Compare the location of the branches of these trees.

The pine branches are raised high from the ground, they stretch upward, towards the sun.

The spruce trees stand with their thorny branches lowered almost to the ground.

Problematic question.

How can you explain this arrangement of branches on pine and spruce?

Spruce loves shade. Spruce forests are dark and dense. They are always quiet. Winds and snowstorms do not reach deep into the forest because of the thick needles. Therefore, crossbills hatch their chicks in the month of January in spruce forests.

Workbook on “The world around us” 1st grade p. 20 No. 2

Draw a pine or spruce tree optional.

Observation 2. “Branches”.

Look at the branches of spruce and pine and determine what they have in common and how they differ.

pine

Both have needles, but they are attached in different ways.

In pine, two needles are attached to a branch, and in spruce, each needle is attached.

Observation 2. “Needles”.

Compare tree needles.

pine

The length of the needles of trees varies.

Pine has long needles, while spruce has short needles.

Workbook on “The world around us” 1st grade p. 20 No. 3.

Assignment: complete the branches of pine and spruce.

Observation 3. “Bumps”.

Look at the tree cones.

Pine cones are smaller in size,

than the cones they ate and rounder.

The spruce cones are longer and elongated.

Workbook on “The world around us” 1st grade p. 20 No. 1.

Assignment: draw a pine or spruce cone as desired.

A page for the curious.

Siberian cedar is a coniferous tree. Its height can reach 44 meters.

Life expectancy 500 -850 years

Cedar needles grow in bunches,

5 needles in a bunch.

Pencils are made from cedar wood.

Pine nuts are tasty and very healthy.

Larch is the only deciduous coniferous tree. There are 30 - 50 needles in a bunch. Larch is a deciduous, but not cone-bearing tree. On larches, unlike other conifers, ripe cones hang for years after the seeds fall out.

Juniper is a coniferous shrub.

This is a long-lived plant. IN favorable conditions juniper lives from 600 to 3000 years.

PROGRESS OF THE LESSON

Lesson steps

1. Motivation for educational activities.

To become nature's friend, all its secrets... (find out)

To solve all the riddles - learn to (observe)

(Students are familiar with the poem and “help” the teacher.)

Well done, guys! And you and I are once again setting off on an amazing journey to learn the secrets and mysteries of the world around us. And to find answers to amazing questions which he asks us surrounding nature, you need to be attentive and inquisitive. Is everyone paying attention? Everyone wants to know and experience something unknown and new to us? (Yes.) Then let's start our lesson.

2. Updating knowledge.

And we have guests. Who is this? (Question Ant and Wise Turtle.) (Slide 1)

And, of course, as always, our Ant has a lot of questions. Shall we help him?

What time of year is it now?

What happens in the fall?

What changes are we seeing in the plant world?

While going to school and returning home, you see leaves falling from the trees. And no one knows that the leaves are talking to each other about something. Let's listen (slide 2):

fallen leaves

the conversation is barely audible:

We are from maples...

We are from apple trees...

We are from the elms...

We are from cherries...

From the aspen tree...

From bird cherry...

From a birch...

Leaf fall everywhere:

Frost is on the doorstep!

What are the leaves whispering about?

What is the name of the natural phenomenon when leaves fall off?

What are the leaves afraid of?

The wise Turtle collected the leaves and brought them to us. Now we will play the game “One, two, three, find the leaf of the tree!” I have leaves in the box, and on the board you see pictures of trees. I will give you pieces of paper, and then I will open the pictures. If your leaf is from this tree, you must go to the board and glue it. Each leaf should end up on its own tree.

(The teacher takes turns turning over pictures of trees with the front side facing the students. On the command: “One, two, three - find the leaf of the tree!” the game begins. Students who have a leaf of this tree run forward, explain by what signs they identified the tree , then sit down. Two or three students may have leaves of the same tree - spruce and pine branches.)

3. Creation of a problematic situation.

Guys, did all the leaves end up on their trees? Who else has leaves left? Show them to us? Guys, what are these leaves called? What trees do they grow on? (Children give different answers: that these are not leaves, these are needles, they grow on the Christmas tree and do not fall off in the fall).

So many different answers. The Questioner Ant is confused and can’t figure out if the Christmas tree has leaves? Let's try to figure it all out.

4. Mastering new material.

Here is an image of spruce and pine (slide 3)

Are these trees?

Name and show the parts of the tree? Compare spruce with oak. (One student makes a comparison at the board)

So, spruce and pine are trees. Only some trees have leaves that look like plates; these are deciduous trees. Other trees have leaves that look like needles. Such leaves are called needles, and the trees themselves are called conifers. (slide 4)

Spruce and pine are coniferous trees, and their leaves are needles. (slide 5). Coniferous trees also include larch and cedar. (slide 6) The seeds of such trees are cones.

Research activities.

On the table in front of you are two branches: pine and spruce. Look at them carefully. How are they similar? What is their difference? (General: the needles are green, prickly, covered with a waxy film. Difference: pine needles are long, spruce needles are short. Spruce needles are attached one by one, and pine needles are attached by two.)

Now let’s compare the cones (slide 7). Show the fir cone, now put the fir cone on spruce branch, and a pine cone to a pine cone. (General: the cone contains seeds. Difference: shape and location on the branch). The cones of spruce and pine contain seeds. They are appearance similar. Having fallen out of the cone, they spin like a helicopter propeller. When carried by the wind, the seeds can fly quite far from the tree.

Well done guys. The wise Turtle reminded me that it was time to get some rest. Here is her riddle: “In winter and summer, the same color.” (Spruce, pine). And Ant Question has prepared for you a fun physical activity called “Herringbone”.

5. Physical exercise “Herringbone”

Experience.

What riddle did the Wise Turtle tell us? Indeed, spruce and pine needles are always green in winter and summer. Why does this happen? After all, on deciduous trees the leaves turn yellow and fall off. We will try to find an answer to this question as well.

I need two assistants. One will hold a sprig of rowan. And the other is a pine twig. Let's pretend it's snow. It keeps falling and falling on our branches (The teacher scatters pieces of white paper from above). What happens to a sprig of rowan? (“Snow” lingers on the leaves, and the branches bend very much). Indeed, snow lingers on the leaves of rowan, aspen, birch and other deciduous trees. And under its weight, tree branches can break. Therefore, deciduous trees “shed” their leaves in the fall. This is how they prepare for winter.

Now let's look at the spruce branch. What do we see? (“The snow” doesn’t stay on the needles. It falls down.) That’s right. The needles of coniferous trees are covered with a waxy film, so the snow “slips off” and does not linger on the branches. This means that there is no need for coniferous trees to “shed” their needles for the winter. And the needles of such trees remain green all year round.

True, there is one coniferous tree, which, unlike all its relatives, still sheds its needles for the winter. This is larch. (slide 8) In autumn, its needles turn yellow and fall off, like the leaves of birch, aspen, and maple. That's why it was called larch.

6. Consolidation of the studied material.

Guys, we found answers to all the questions that needed to be solved today.

What have we learned today? (There are coniferous trees. These are spruce, pine. Their needle-like leaves are called conifers. They remain green and do not fall off in the fall. Only one coniferous tree has needles that fall off - this is larch.)

We even put up a Christmas tree first

They were indistinguishable from pine:

Once the needles stick out -

So these are Christmas trees.

And when they ate on a branch

We took a better look

It turned out that she

Not like pine.

And now we will draw spruce and pine branches. We’ll also see which trees are deciduous and which are coniferous. (Work in notebooks)

7. Summing up. Reflection.

Guys, today in class we learned a lot of new and interesting things. Let's remember everything so that Ant will remember everything and no longer ask questions about spruce and pine.

(There are deciduous and coniferous trees. Deciduous trees have leaves in the form of plates, they turn yellow in the fall and fall off. Coniferous trees have leaves in the form of needles, I call them needles. They remain green all year round and do not fall off in the fall. Only larch loses its needles. Spruce and pine are coniferous trees. Spruce has short needles and is attached to a branch one at a time. And its cones are long. Pine has long needles, two needles are attached to a branch, and the cones are round).

Well done, Question Ant is very grateful to you.

But the Wise Turtle says that she was upset because we never played her game to the end. The two leaves never found their tree. Who had these leaves? Go to the board. Find which tree they belong to. (Students come out, attach needles to spruce, pine needles to pine and explain their choice.)

The Wise Turtle thanks you too. And gives you leaves with cones. Look at the piece of paper in front of you where there are three cones drawn: large, medium and small. If everything was clear to you when completing the task, you coped with them without difficulty - circle the big bump. If you had difficulty completing some tasks, if you didn’t know how to answer some questions, circle a medium-sized lump. If it was difficult for you, if you were unable to complete the proposed tasks and did not know the answers to my questions, circle the small bump.

Our next journey has come to an end. But in the world around us there are still many secrets and mysteries that we have to learn and solve. And in the next lesson, you and I will go on a new adventure together with our assistants: Question Ant and Wise Turtle.

WHAT ARE NEEDLES?

Learning task: We will find out which trees are called conifers, we will learn to compare spruce and pine.

The world around us 1st grade

Name trees you know

Pine

Pines love light more than other trees,

therefore their branches are raised high from the ground,

they are drawn to the light; the spruce trees stand with their heads down

thorny branches almost to the ground.

Elnik

This is a spruce forest. They call him spruce forest

IN spruce forest the trees are close to each other

to a friend, so it is thick and shady.

In the gloomy spruce forest it is believed that

it was here that Baba Yaga and Leshy lived and

other fairy tale heroes, because even

on a hot sunny day in a spruce forest

cool and dark.

Sosnovy Bor

This pine forest. They call him - pine forest

The pine forest is a huge oxygen factory, necessary for all life on earth. Breathe easily and freely pine forest, light and dry

in it. Wood is a gift from pine. It is used in the construction of ships and dwellings.

Are they the same?

which ones are from spruce

What are needles?

  • Khvoinki- these are really leaves, only of a special shape - long and narrow. They are able to survive the winter because they are quite durable. The waxy skin prevents the needles from drying out. The needles provide the tree with a small amount of food even in winter.

This tree turns yellow in the fall and sheds

leaves, as deciduous trees do.

Hence the name - larch.

Sections: Primary school

Objectives: to introduce coniferous trees, the distinctive features of pine and spruce; teach to distinguish between deciduous and coniferous trees, describe a tree according to plan; cultivate a caring attitude towards nature.

Planned results: students will learn to describe a tree according to plan; distinguish between deciduous and coniferous trees; compare pine and spruce.

Equipment: herbariums with leaves, spruce branches, pine and spruce cones, colored pencils.

Lesson progress

  1. Organizational moment.
  2. Psychological attitude
  3. .
  4. Updating knowledge.

a) Conversation.

Guys, our Ant heard the conversation:

We are from maples...

We are from the rowan...

We are from apple trees...

We are from the birch...

Whose conversation do you think Ant heard? (leaves)

Last lesson we went on a field trip. What did we meet? (We got acquainted with the trees growing near the school; learned to recognize the leaves of the trees.) Slide 1,2,3,4 (See presentation)

b) Group work.

Collect a picture (tree).

Find a leaf on the herbarium table that relates to your tree. (Girls, pick up the picture you collected. Boys, pick up a leaf from your tree.)

4. Self-determination for activity. Slide 5 ,6,7

The ant has prepared riddles for you. Guess them.

You can always find her in the forest -
Let's go for a walk and meet:
Stands prickly like a hedgehog
In winter in a summer dress. (Spruce.)

I have longer needles
Than the Christmas tree.
I'm growing very straight
In height.
If I'm not on the edge,
The branches are only on the top of the head. (Pine.)

What can you tell us about them?

What do you think we will talk about in class today?

Read the topic of the lesson on page 30 of the textbook. (What are needles?)

Read what we have to learn.

5. Physical education minute. ( Slide 10)

6. Work on the topic of the lesson.

a) Practical work in pairs. (Slide 15)

What is the difference between spruce and pine? We are exploring this now.

(Each pair receives twigs, pine and spruce cones.)

Consider the branches of pine and spruce. How are they different? (Pine has longer needles, and spruce has shorter needles. Spruce has one needle per branch, and pine has two.) Slide16,17

What are needles? (Slide 18,19)

b) Completing tasks in the workbook p. 20 No. 2

Draw pine and spruce branches.

7. Physical education minute. (The wind blows in our faces) (Slide 20)

8. Continuation of work on the topic of the lesson.

a) Work in groups.

Groups 1,2,3 are “Christmas trees”

Groups 4,5,6 are “Sosenki”

-Describe the tree according to plan.(Survey - 1 student from each group) Slide 21,22

b) Research work (student’s report about larch) Slide 22-23

c) Completing tasks in the workbook. (Slide 24)

Read the titles. What groups can all trees be divided into? Self-test ( Slide 25)

G) Forester (reading a poem). Musical presentation.

Guys, take care of nature! Trees produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. The forest is the home of wild animals and birds. We must protect it together.

9. Summing up the lesson.

What learning task did we set for ourselves at the beginning of the lesson?

Give examples of deciduous trees?

Give examples of coniferous trees?

How are they different?

10 Reflection.

If you liked the lesson, pick up a leaf from a deciduous tree, and if you didn’t like it, pick up a twig from a coniferous tree.

Grandfather's Day. In Poland it is considered one of the most respected and revered days. Almost everyone, young and old, prepares for this holiday. The heroes of the occasion are required to buy something sweet, and young and adult grandchildren prepare small gifts for their grandfathers and be sure to visit them.

Tip: We make gifts for our beloved grandfathers and congratulate them.
