How to deliciously fry minced meat with onions and carrots in a frying pan?

Ingredients:

  • minced pork – 520 g;
  • onions – 140 g;
  • carrots – 110 g;
  • coarse salt - to taste;
  • ground pepper – 1 pinch;
  • fresh herbs (optional) - to taste;

Preparation

You can buy minced pork ready-made, but it is preferable, of course, to prepare it yourself from fresh meat, passing it through a meat grinder. We also prepare the vegetables right away. We cut the peeled onions into small cubes, and grate the carrots on a fine or medium grater.

Place the onions in a frying pan with heated sunflower oil without aroma, and after a minute the carrots and sauté the vegetables until soft. Now add the minced pork and fry the contents of the vessel, stirring and kneading the lumps thoroughly, until cooked and all the juices have evaporated for about twenty minutes, seasoning at the end of cooking with salt, ground pepper and, if desired, finely chopped fresh herbs.

For the classic version, you don’t have to add carrots and greens to the minced meat when frying, limiting yourself to only chopped onions.

In a similar way, you can fry minced beef in a frying pan, adding a little more sunflower oil, since beef is a less fatty type of meat.

How to properly fry minced chicken in a frying pan?

Ingredients:

  • minced chicken – 520 g;
  • onions – 180 g;
  • coarse salt - to taste;
  • ground pepper – 1 pinch;
  • Provencal or Italian herbs (optional) – 1 pinch;
  • butter – 30 g;
  • Refined sunflower oil – 35 ml.

Preparation

Chicken meat is much softer and more tender in structure than pork and beef and therefore cooks much faster. That is why it is easy to dry out minced chicken, making it completely unappetizing.

If you prepare your own ground chicken (which is preferable), try to use more than just chicken breast fillet, but also add meat from the legs and thighs. Thus, the juiciness of the minced meat will be higher, and its taste will be more interesting.

First, fry finely chopped onions in a frying pan with sunflower oil. Then add the minced meat, fry it, stirring continuously, and knead with a spoon until all the moisture evaporates, trying not to miss this moment. At this stage, add a piece of butter, season the mixture with salt and pepper, flavor it with Provençal or Italian herbs if desired, mix, heat for another minute and remove from the heat.
