Enrollment for the military department is open. All-Russian State University of Justice RPA Ministry of Justice military department

Based on Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2160-r dated October 24, 2015, a military department for training reserve officers is being created at the federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education “All-Russian State University of Justice (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia)” in Moscow.

The first recruitment to the military department at the VGUYU (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia) at this stage is carried out only in Moscow. It will take place from March to mid-June in two stages: preliminary and competitive. Full-time students are allowed to participate in the selection process: specialty - 1-2 years; Bachelor's degree - 1st year. The Main Personnel Directorate has set the number of students trained at 50 people annually. The duration of training at the military department is 2.5 years. Training will take place in the military specialty "Investigative Work".

To pass the preliminary selection, students need to receive a package of documents in office 416 at the address: Bolshoi Karetny Lane, undergo a medical examination and professional-psychological selection at the place of military registration, during which a conclusion will be given on the possibility of further participation in the selection. All documents received at the military commissariat must be submitted to office 416.

The second stage (competitive selection) will begin at the end of May 2016 after the creation of a commission of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The competitive selection will take into account the results of the preliminary stage, scores for physical training (pull-ups, 100-meter run, 3-kilometer cross-country) and the average score for the winter session. After the scores are calculated, the results will be posted on the official website of the University.

Based on the selection results:

  1. An order is issued by the University on the admission of students to military training at the military department;
  2. An agreement is concluded between the student and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Training at the military department will be carried out using the “military day” method (one day a week). During this day, students will have to study for 9 academic hours (6 hours with a teacher, 2 hours with independent preparation and 1 hour with training). By the beginning of classes, students enrolled in the military department purchase military uniforms on their own.

The main customer is the Main Directorate of Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Currently, the development of the main document “Qualification requirements for the military specialty of graduates of the military department” is being completed. Based on the qualification requirements, training programs for military professional educational disciplines for the training of reserve officers will be developed.

A highly specialized law school for training specialists for legal services and law enforcement agencies.

Greetings to applicants to the Russian Law Academy:

The All-Russian State University of Justice (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia) is the central scientific and educational institution of the Ministry of Justice of Russia. This is one of the largest departmental law schools in the country, a diploma from which is a reliable guarantee of a successful start to a professional career.

For more than 40 years, the RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia has been training personnel with higher legal education and organizing advanced training for justice officials. Located in Moscow, the university has 15 branches in various regions of the country.

The Academy provides training in the following educational programs:

  • Higher education in the specialty “Jurisprudence” (specializations: state law, civil law, criminal law, enforcement proceedings);
  • Second higher education;
  • Postgraduate, doctoral studies;
  • Pre-university education;
  • Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.

The Academy has a Research Institute, in some specialties there are Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies, and there are also two dissertation councils.
In 2010, the academy was one of 11 universities that were granted the right to conduct additional tests.

Studying at the military department represents the integration of military and civilian education - that is, the opportunity to master both a civilian and a military profession at the same time. Obtaining two professions makes a graduate in demand in the market of “civil legal professions” and in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

A graduate of the military department after graduation can immediately start finding employment. It will be more in demand in law enforcement agencies (Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation and others), as well as in paramilitary units where specialists in the field of law are needed: military police, military investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, military courts, military prosecutor's office and others. Naturally, persons who have graduated from a military department have priority in employment in these organizations, in contrast to their colleagues who only have a diploma from a civilian university.

It is also worth noting that service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is becoming more and more popular and prestigious every year. Persons with military status receive more benefits and advantages than their “civilian” counterparts. After retirement, you can continue your career in civilian specialization.

An important aspect of training at the military department of VGUYU (RPA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia) for those who have chosen a specialty in the areas of training: “Law enforcement”, “Legal support of national security”, is that training in a civilian specialty is harmoniously combined with training at the military department. As part of the development of a civilian specialty, students master practical skills in shooting firearms, as well as the features of using special equipment.

A student studying at the military department of VSUYU (RPA of the Ministry of Justice) has a number of advantages:

  • a scholarship supplement of 15% for those who did not serve in military service;
  • a scholarship supplement of 25% for those who served in conscription.

After graduating from a university, as well as passing the final certification in military training, the graduate is enlisted in the reserves and is awarded the rank of lieutenant of justice.

Requirements for candidates for admission to the military department:

  • citizenship of the Russian Federation;
  • age: up to 30 years;
  • have military registration at the military commissariat;
  • Full-time 1st year studies at the Faculty of Law.

450 hours of classroom training (lectures/seminars) are allocated for training within the military department over 2.5 years (5 semesters), as well as 144 hours of study time as part of training camps (which last 35 days).

Training is conducted according to the “military day” method, which lasts 9 academic hours: 6 hours for training sessions, 2 hours for independent work and 1 hour for organizational and educational work, as well as training.
