The best sights for World of Tank. World of Tanks - which sight is better? Historical Hardscope Sights

The number of mods for World of Tanks is growing every day. New sights, damage panels, skins, and various additions to functionality appear. Over time, the developers take into account the wishes of the players and make some adjustments to the game. So, at the suggestion of modders, the game now has the ability to shoot without lifting your finger from the mouse button. Fans of automatic guns sighed in unison and said “thank you” to the developers. Also, thanks to users and modders, the sight now has a reload timer in the official client. Previously, you had to guess how quickly the gun would charge, or install a sight mod. It is pointless to talk about what is the best sight in WoT, since every gamer has his own opinion on this matter.

Thus, many believe that the Jimbo sight is the most convenient in the game. Some players prefer futuristic sights, while fans of minimalism are satisfied with a standard sight. In fact, the client's sight hasn't changed much over the past year. But not all players have enough standard sight functions.

This article will not include a top ranking of the best scopes. We will give only examples of popular sights, and you can decide for yourself which sight is preferable for you. By the way, all sights are installed in the /WOT/res_mods/current_patch_version/gui folder.

1. Jimbo sight

The Jimbo sight is one of the most convenient sights. It has absolutely everything a player might need in battle: reload time and gun reload timer, strength indicator and number of shells in ammunition, bold markers and front sight. This sight is present in almost all assemblies, and it’s time to make legends about its popularity.

2. Historical Hardscope Sights

The Hardscope scope assembly is arguably the best of its kind. About a dozen historical sights from popular tanks of the Second World War and the post-war period. Despite the “historicity”, they are quite convenient, have basic functions (reload timer, information about the enemy) and can be customized depending on the player’s preferences. The sight is configured by simply editing the file World_of_Tanks/res_mods/0.9.1/gui/scaleform/HARDscopeSetting.xml in a text editor. It is better to use Notepad++ for editing.

3. Futuristic sights

This category of sights includes sights a la Ghost Recon or Octagon. All futuristic sights display a large amount of information on the screen: armor calculator, enemy tank performance, projectile flight time and target range, number of ammunition shells, their types and much more. But they have a significant disadvantage - they take up too much space on the display and distract the player in battle.

Even the sights described above have modifications. Painting it a different color (the most popular is turquoise), changing the location of the indicators, or adding a new chip leads to the appearance of a new sight.

Description

One category in which any player can always find something interesting is scopes. There is a great variety of sights - from minimalistic to very bright and coolly animated, with references to other games and media culture images.

Presented to your attention good sight "OverCross" for World of Tanks 1.7.1.2 is an example of something new and unusual among the mostly monotonous mass of World of Tanks sights. Its main feature is that the reload circle indicator will appear on the screen only at the moment of reloading the gun, thereby freeing up additional space on the screen, leaving only the inscriptions - the word “Ready” and the total time for reloading the gun. Thus, even fewer interface elements in combat interfere with the view and distract the player’s attention. Also a nice addition is the aiming circle and the projectile penetration indicator, which is perfectly readable in any conditions. As an additional type of central sight marker, you are encouraged to use a crosshair, like those used in shooters. You can switch to it in the game settings without any additional manipulations with configuration files.

Among the huge number of WoT modifications, cheat sights have become especially popular; they help to more easily deal with complex enemy targets by automatically aiming at them.

In the wake of popularity, hundreds of such sights have already appeared from different modders, so it will be difficult for a beginner to choose the best cheat sight for world of tanks

Sights of the AimBot category differ from conventional auto-sights in that they are capable of hitting the enemy not only along the contour at a long distance, but also calculate the correct angle of impact. This is very useful if the enemy is behind an obstacle, because previously it was possible to hit only along the contour in the line of sight.

The sight from SAE is one of the pioneers of cheat sights. Its modification is capable of targeting various vulnerable points of the tank, be it the hull, the frontal part, or the “head”, making it difficult for the enemy to elude you.

You can activate such a sight by pressing the button on the numeric keypad 6 and you can shoot at the target

Vanga's sight is also a fairly well-known auto-aim, which appeared from old-time modders such as, for example, Jov and ProTanks. Its main advantage is that it can be aimed at targets ahead of time; for this purpose, the trajectory of the shot towards the enemy is determined. Excellent help in battles with heavily armored vehicles, penetrating armor from different points. It can capture a target both behind an obstacle and in the line of sight.

The sight from Achilles is a sight that is very similar to the Vanga, but with some improvements, better accuracy in hitting vulnerable and armored places, has better lead, which will help you save the tank from shells. It also has fine settings that can be adjusted to suit you.

Of course, you can use many other options, but we do not guarantee their performance; there is a high risk of running into an unfinished mod, which can lead to the crash of the game itself, or the sight will not work at all.

Remember that auto-aims, unlike regular ones, are officially prohibited by the game developers due to the excessively high advantage in the game, so their use can lead to permanent account blocking, everything is at your own peril and risk!

The above sight options are available in modpacks that are freely available on the Internet; in the mod installer you can select the sight you like.

Hello, dear tankers! Perhaps, after installing version 0.9.0 for World of Tanks, you have already started looking for new for World of Tanks 0.9.0, so right now we want to present five of the most popular sights at once, which can be downloaded directly from our website. It is worth noting that each of them can improve the game. There is no need to worry about their performance, since they have all been tested by us personally.

We would like to immediately tell all newcomers that using data, you will not be able to randomly hit your enemies or play better - these are myths and fairy tales. Any experienced player will tell you with confidence that the following things will help you play better:

So, number one is a good team;

the second is knowledge of all the advantages and disadvantages of enemy tanks;
in addition to the knowledge of shortcomings itself, some other assets are needed in order to use these same shortcomings;
try to predict all the actions of your enemy;
some basic tactical knowledge;

Perhaps this is not the entire list, but listing everything is simply pointless. Let's finally move on directly to the description of the sights themselves for World of Tanks.

Sight from Kirill Oreshkin

The Oreshkin sight is probably the most popular and downloaded sight. It contains all the information a player might need. The only negative is that the so-called armor penetration indicator does not work.

Time to reload a combat weapon;
debug panel where there is a clock;
some other information;
countdown until reloading of a combat weapon;

the standard of living of your tank;
number of remaining shells.

Sight from Flash

Next, let's look at the STL1te sight, which is one of the most popular of its kind. It is worth noting that this sight was preferred by the video blogger Vspishka himself, who, as we all know, is also passionate about the game World of Tanks. Many people note that this very sight is minimalist; it is also called the light version of the famous Oreshkin sight. Perhaps this is precisely its main highlight.

sight Sword of Damocles for World of Tanks

But the Damoclav Sword sight is more suitable for artillerymen who have quite large optional settings. It’s probably not worth describing all the advantages of this scope, since there are very, very many of them. If you really liked this sight, we advise you to read the corresponding article, where it will be described in detail.

Sight from Jove

But the scope from zayaz is very similar to the Jove scope. By the way, thanks to him he became famous throughout the Internet. Zayaz once took older ones as a basis, after which he changed the color scheme, and also added many effective and useful functions:

superb mixing;
life indicator (in percent);
no blackout in sniper mode;
projectile reload timer.

World of Tanks - which sight is better?

    IN my opinion the best scope from Flash

    it's the most convenient!

    Of course, every tank player has his own opinion about how a sight should look, for example, I like sights in the form of a target or a disk, there is also such a Disk sight in tanks, in my opinion, with this sight it is easier to find the right point for a shot...

    If you don’t have enough experience, it’s better to choose Melty to understand and remember all the nuances. There are a lot of numbers and parameters here. But this is still not enough experience, then it is better to switch to sights where the information is at least less distracting and does not clutter the picture.

    As Zofo noted, everything is individual here. and what is good for one is unacceptable for another.

    For example, I am a minimalist and ascetic by nature, so I don’t play games much, but if I do, I am of the opinion that there should be nothing superfluous in everything. Including on the player screen. Because all the options are simply distracting. A good sight is the flash from an enemy shot.

    It all depends on the player's personal preferences. It may turn out that for one the sight is super-duper, but for another it will seem inconvenient. The most popular sights in the World of Tanks game are Melty, Jova, Disk, sights that show the thickness of armor, as well as sights in a minimalist style.

    In my opinion, it is better to use sights with a minimum of information to avoid clutter, but this is my personal opinion.

    Well, here they say the taste and color - there is no comrade. Each person likes their own sights, some are comfortable with the sight from Jove, some from the Flash, others do not recognize any of the modified ones at all and use the standard one.

    Personally, in my opinion, for the comfort of the game the sight should have:

    1. Gun reload time and reload timer
    2. Distance to target
    3. Horizontal aiming angles (for art lovers)
    4. Armor penetration indicator (in fact, with experience in the game it’s not really needed)

    These are probably all the main necessary functions of a sight, everyone is free to choose the design as they wish, there are hundreds of options.

    It took me a long time to choose my aim in the game World of Tanks, and I understand how difficult it is. After all, the sight for everyone is, first of all, a matter of taste. Some people like minimalistic sights, and some like them with a huge amount of information, like in the Melty sight, which will calculate for you what penetration your projectile will cause depending on the distance and angle to the armor. Personally, I myself use the minimalistic, first sight in the assembly from Jova, which is somewhat similar to the sight from Flash, but not quite. It has a reload time, has a filling red indicator, which I'm very used to, and doesn't interfere with seeing the full picture of the battle. Since I have enough experience, the rest of the information is unnecessary for me, and will only interfere in battle, cluttering the screen. Good luck in the battles!!!

    For each World of Tanks player individually. A standard sight is already functional, but others most often just have a different look. It’s worth choosing which one you like best in appearance, while at the same time expanding the standard functionality (for example, how much time is left before recharging). A large selection of scopes can be found here.

    There are a lot of sights in the game and I tried a bunch of sights: Melty, Jova, Disk. Everyone recommends the Melty scope. There are a lot of sights, you can choose the sight for yourself. For information about sights in the world of tanks game, look here http://wot-planet.com/sights/

    If I now say which scope is better, it will only be my opinion.

    in the game, the player must choose the scope, and if the player reads here that a certain scope is better in the opinion of X person, then the player himself is unlikely to agree with this person.

    Each scope has its own pros and cons, so I recommend choosing the best scope yourself.

    Personally, I play a lot with the Simple Aim sight.

    The Hardscope scope assembly is praised for its ability to adapt to the player, which makes it easier to choose battle tactics.

    The Sword of Damocles sight collects information about enemy tanks and can select the necessary parameters.
