If you are just making decorative eggs, you can remove the contents through a small hole. But we will dye boiled eggs especially for Easter.

You will need:

Boiled eggs,
food coloring, preferably gel, but liquid can also be used. I think you can do all this with dry dyes, which are sold in stores for Easter.
vinegar 6% or 9%,
water

Step 1. Add a base color

Before creating the marble effect, you need to give the eggs a base color. Mix very hot water, 1 tablespoon of vinegar and a few drops of food coloring in a small glass (you can choose how much color you want). Simply dip the egg in the dye and hold it with something so that it is completely covered with water for several minutes. When you are happy with the resulting color, take out the egg and let it dry a little. For about 10 minutes. It is best to dry on a wire rack. But you can just do it on the table. Even if the color becomes a little uneven where it comes into contact with the surface, it’s not a big deal, we’ll still have speckled eggs. (In the photo, the egg in the glass is decorative, that is, there are holes in it, but just hold a regular boiled egg with a skewer or spoon without any holes).

Step 2. Paint marble eggs

Pour some water into a glass and paint it a second color. It should be a darker color than the main one. Don't be greedy with the dye. Then pour in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, preferably olive oil. Place the egg in the glass and swirl. The longer you rotate, the more marbled the surface becomes.

Remove the eggs from the water and set them aside to dry.

The easiest way to paint eggs marbled is to wrap the eggs in onion skins and tie them on top with some cotton material.

1. We will need a bowl of water, crushed husks, brilliant green, gauze squares measuring 15 x 15 cm, and thread.
2. Grind the husk into small pieces the size of a fingernail.
3. Dip the egg in a bowl of water.
4. Roll the egg in the peel.
5. Place the egg on cheesecloth and add a little more husk.
6. We tie the gauze tightly. We distribute the husk carefully; if it has shifted in any place, we correct it.
7. Cut off the excess gauze tail.
8. Place the eggs in a saucepan with cold water, the water should only slightly cover the eggs, add 1 tbsp. spoon of salt.
9. Add greenery to the water. We take brilliant green at the rate of 1 small bottle of 10 eggs. (From the commentary. But the more carelessly they are cut, the more interesting the pattern will be. You can involve children in the process, cut out triangles, squares, circles or even snowflakes with them. Here you can give free rein to your imagination to make the drawing look unusual. If you cut out, for example, snowflakes, you can make them large, the size of an egg. By the way, you can roll eggs not only in onion peels and pieces of paper. An interesting option is grains of rice, sprigs of fresh herbs.

4. Prepare the gauze: fold a small piece into 3-4 layers. The egg should fit freely in the gauze so that it can be tied into a knot.

5. Wet the eggs in water and roll them in a mixture of paper and husks. Immediately move to the center of the bandage.

6. Roll up the bandage: lift all four corners and connect them in the center so that the mosaic on the egg does not move. Tie tightly with thread.

7. Place in a pan in one dense layer. It is better to take a container made of stainless steel, since an enameled one may not be washed off after such chemical experiments. Stainless steel can be washed in two minutes.

8. Fill the gauze bags with water so that it covers the eggs. But they should not float freely, since during cooking these movements are fraught with the appearance of cracks. 10. And the last secret: add a toothpick to the pan. Fun fact: If you boil eggs with a toothpick, they won't crack. Cook the eggs and greens for 15-20 minutes after boiling. During this time, they will definitely be completely cooked, and the pattern will be well fixed on the shell. Important: after the water boils, it is better to reduce the heat to medium.
To easily remove the shell from an egg, there is one trick: after cooking, place the pan under running water. Pour it hot first to avoid sudden temperature changes. Gradually reduce the water temperature. When the pan is filled with cold water, let the eggs sit for 3-5 minutes. This simple procedure makes cleaning much easier. By the way, ordinary eggs can be immediately placed in cold water. But since we are preparing a holiday version, do not be lazy and preserve the integrity of the shell.

11. We remove the finished eggs from the pan wearing protective gloves so that the skin of the hands does not stain. Now you need to carefully cut off the gauze bag, remove the wrapper and thoroughly rinse the egg in water. All that remains is to rub the shell with vegetable oil: moisten a cotton pad with a drop and process the Easter eggs with polishing movements. Make a single-layer gauze bag and put an egg in it. You can add more husks. Secure with threads. If the husk has slipped in places, it needs to be corrected.

Place the bags in a pan of water. Add a couple of tablespoons of salt. Pour in the green stuff and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat. Free the finished eggs from gauze and husks, rinse under the tap and dry on a towel.

Food colorings

You will need:

Hard boiled eggs;
Vinegar;
Sunflower oil;
Dyes;
Water.

Dilute a bag of dye in 300g of hot water and add 1 tbsp of vinegar. Pour the liquid into a free bowl so that the egg can be completely immersed in it.

Pour water over rice. Meanwhile, chop the onion skins with your hands or scissors. It also needs to be filled with water. Cut the gauze into 18*18 cm squares. Dilute the dye in a bowl of water according to the instructions on the package. The dishes must be wide so that the egg can be placed and moved freely in it.

Drop a few drops of vegetable oil into the container with the coloring solution so that oil bubbles form on the surface. They are what determine the presence of the marble pattern. Place the egg in a container and twist it so that it “collects” beautiful patterns from the oil drops. Now you need to wipe it with a napkin and the beauty is ready!

Decoupage with napkins

Decoupage is a great way to decorate various things and gifts without spending a lot of time on it. To decoupage Easter eggs with napkins, you only need boiled eggs, beautiful paper napkins, scissors, a brush and paste.

From napkins, cut out the patterns drawn on it along the contour. You can also cut a piece around it, this is called the patchwork method. Now prepare the paste. To do this, you need to dilute 2 tbsp. water in 50 milliliters of water. Then heat the solution in the microwave for about 15 seconds, periodically opening the oven and stirring the paste.

Place pieces of napkins on the eggs and coat the top with paste. Leave them on a flat surface for half an hour to allow the glue to dry.

How to paint eggs with nail polish

For this you will need:

Several bottles of nail polish in different colors;
Bowl of water;
Toothpicks;
Nail polish remover;
And, of course, eggs.

Boil eggs in boiling water in salted water. Drop nail polish of several colors at once into a separate bowl of water. Use a toothpick or other thin object to combine all the colors, making streaks on them.

Immerse the egg in water with varnish and turn it so that the paint covers the entire surface of the shell.
