The Helpful Villagers mod adds new models of villagers that look like players. Forget about big noses and forever crossed arms. The villagers store items in a small chest, which the player gains access to.

Residents can be dressed in functional armor. They are completely autonomous: give them the tools and send them to work. Having finished the job, the resident will return to his guild to give away the extracted resources, and then move on to the next job.

How to install the modification:

First step: download and install Minecraft Forge (You can select the version with it in the launcher).

Second step: download the package with the modification.

Third step: copy the mod package Helpful Villagers to the .minecraft/mods section (if this folder does not exist, install Forge again or create it yourself).

How to put

1. Download and install (if you don't have it already),
2. Download the mod from the link above,
3. Open the folder .minecraft/mods in the folder with the installed game. (If the mods folder is missing, create it),
- to open a folder .minecraft/mods press Windows keys + R. Enter there %appdata%\.Minecraft\mods and press Enter.
4. Copy the downloaded mod file to the folder mods.
5. Launch the Minecraft launcher, select a profile Forge and play with the new mod.

Mod settings

After installation, go up to any resident (they have such huge noses, you won’t confuse them with anyone) and right-click on them. The following menu opens:

- Follow me: tell the villager to follow you,
- Trade: trade with him,
- Change profession: choose or change his profession,
- Give nickname: Give it the name you want. Russian language is supported.

One of the following professions is available to choose from: farmer, soldier, lumberjack, miner, or archer. You can stop working with a resident at any time and he will stop completing your tasks.

With the Helpful Villagers mod, the villagers will become smart and start helping the player. Now it will be possible to assign one of five professions to each village resident: archer, soldier, miner, farmer, lumberjack. An archer and a soldier will guard the village or you. The farmer will cultivate the land, plant plants and harvest crops. The miner will dig mines and extract ore. A lumberjack goes to the forest to cut down trees. To assign a profession, hang a frame on any house in the village and place a weapon or tool in it. Then go to the local and right-click on him and from the list choose what he will do. All received resources will be stored in a special house from which you can periodically pick them up. The smart villagers mod will be an excellent assistant for players in routine matters.

How to install Helpful Villagers?

Install Minecraft Forge
Press Win+R (the “Win” button is between “Ctrl” and “Alt”)
In the window that appears, write %appdata%
Go to .minecraft/mods (if there is no “mods” folder, then create it)
Drag the mod (.zip/.jar) into the mods folder

Download mod for residents and people for Minecraft PE: they are looking for communication with you and building their relationships, and warriors, magicians and miners will help you.

Create a new world and make sure you are in survival mode. You will be given an item Crystal Ball(ID: 4000) (will be in inventory). Click on the ground with this item to continue.

You will find yourself in a small room with bookshelves and an enchanting table. Click on the table to decide your fate. A small graphical interface will open and here you need to choose who you want to be - a man or a woman.

The next question that will appear in the window is which field you want to get married in. You can choose both man and woman ( Either), but in this case I chose women ( Females).

Now you will be asked to enter your name, but this does not work yet so just click on continue ( Continue).

You can find people in villages. To interact with them you need to hover over it and a button will appear "Interact". Click on this button and the interface will open.

As you can see, the interface is made very nicely. His name will appear above the resident.
